Never heard of those products, oncefallen. My dad was (died 02/2013) a professional welder (had his own business) and would work out in the elements. He used gloves but his hands would get so dry, cracked and raw. Sometimes they would bleed. He always used Vaseline. He would coat his hands with the stuff and massage it in. It helped.

A friend of mine suggested it,'cause she knows I hate hand cream & I always complain that it takes forever to absorb into my skin & it feels greasy or slimy & I hate that! Skin So Soft is good for so much more than keeping your skin so soft :D I went camping with my great aunt and uncle several years ago and the mosquitoes started arriving at our site, so, they said that this Skin So Soft product, by Avon, is so good at keeping them buggers off. She was an Avon rep so she really was excited, 'course, when she found out it's uses extended beyond supplelizing skin, so to speak :D

What is so good about 'Udderly smooth udder cream,' as compared to that one that has an alligator in the commercials and all the other 'regenerist' skin lotions out there ?

Yes..skin so soft is the only thing I've ever used that repels mosquitoes!!! it's amazing & it doesn't smell all that bad either.
I have like 2 bottles of it...gotta always keep that on hand. I think in Maine the mosquito is the state bird. lol

My son tells me, from time to time, that he's leaving and going to the store (which is down the block, across a HIGHWAY, down another half block or so...).

He's about to turn 3.

When I tell people he tells me that, I add that he could probably make it there and back just fine all by himself.
And they. freak. out. as though I had just sent him out the door to get a gallon of milk or something.

Just because he COULD do it doesn't mean I'm going to LET him. *sigh*
I'm not quite as crazy as I look.

My 3-year-old grandson has been known to grab the car keys and some sunglasses, then point to the car as if to say, ''Ok, let's go! If you don't drive Mom or Dad, *I* will!'' :cool:

(The backstory is that he LOVES cars - car toys, books, videos, cartoons, movies, underclothes, clothes, shoes, slippers and anything else he can find that is car related.) :)

I guess what I fear the most is the expression on his face after I ask. Like sheer horror? Appalled? An awkward uhm...? Look of pity? It's SO much easier to do this thru text lol

I highly doubt his expression will be anything but a huge smile. Unless a woman is a total & complete nightmare of a person,I don't know any man who would be horrified or appalled by a woman asking him out or even telling him that she fancies him.

I dunno why men & women get so nervous & scared? I wonder how many men & women have missed an amazing opportunity by giving into their fear...by not sharing with someone how they felt,and then to only regret it later?

I think it's great yer' gonna talk to this guy...exciting...brave...wonderful.
