We previously discussed the proper positioning of toilet paper. :p Let's move on to more important matters. :D

Where does the cheese go on your burger?

It clearly goes on TOP of the burger away from whatever else you put on it so it's not soggy and nasty. :)

Monica, I didn't know avocado goes into a cheese burger sandwich. Is this a Just_Monicat recipe? :p

While I like this idea of the cheese going on top of the burger, all by its cheesy self, I have serious issues with putting the ketchup and mustard anywhere but on the top.

And what is all that green leafy junk doing on those burgers?
To be fair, it dropped off in popularity after a ship hit an object which carries it's namesake (iceberg), and a bunch of people died, and Celine Dion did a song about it.

In this order: Bottom bun, burger, cheese (sharp cheddar, unless we're going for bleu cheese, yum), bacon, some BBQ sauce, onion, top bun.

It's not what I described, but I am now craving a Steak n Shake Frisco Melt. With cheese fries. Mmmm.

Cheese goes on top, along with a pineapple, fried egg, and condiments.

That's because it was new at the time. I'm in Dallas all the time now, and those lines no longer exist. Once the novelty wears off, it's just a pretty good burger. But it's no nectar-and-ambrosia.

(The secret to the In-and-Out burger? Terribly simple: 60/40. Yeah, that's right. It's forty percent fat, yo. Not lying, not making it up.)

It IS a good burger, but it's not the be all and end all.

In this order: Bottom bun, burger, cheese (sharp cheddar, unless we're going for bleu cheese, yum), bacon, some BBQ sauce, onion, top bun.

WHY CAN'T I LIKE THIS MORE THAN ONCE!!!?!?!?!?!?

Now I want a Frisco melt. Oooh, I'm going to San Antonio tomorrow! Maybe S'n'S has made it down there! (Really don't want to drive up to Austin for one. Booooo Austin.)

ok, i have a question for you.

i was flipping through some pictures i have from when i was living in the rockwall area and there is a resevoir between rockwall and rowlett that i believe has the name "hubbard" in it.

anyway, my question is, there are trees growing out of the resevoir. do you know what's up with that?

it's like the goofiest thing i've ever seen.... : )

thanks.

Lake Ray Hubbard?

The trees are because most of the lakes here are man-made. They just dammed up a natural spillway and let it fill in (I know, a waste of trees.) Every 10 years or so, we have a really rainy season that causes the lakes to overflow. But most of the time we have drought, and that water gets so low that people have walked out to pick up their previously sunken fishing boats.
