I have heard that claim also and it is false charge (straw man) against Christians. We do not have a special day where we must worship. We can worship on any day and at any time we wish as a group or as an individual.

No doubt as the church that was at Jerusalem met....every day!

You have a major problem here.

1. The law is the flesh, Scripture states this. The spirit is love, Scripture states this. so people who are setting their mind on the law are of the flesh. and people who focus on the law of love are spirit minded.
2. You claim salvation can be lost. Thus you claim justification MUST BE EARNED,. thus every time you state you do not teach justification by the law, you contradict yourself.

So you quoted something that disproved what you wrote:

That is the default stance of those who are at enmity with Yahweh, as an excuse to not have to follow it.

Romans 8:5-8, "For those who live according to the flesh, set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit, set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against; (bitterly opposed to), Yahweh; for it his not subject to the Law of Yahweh, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are of the flesh cannot please Yahweh."

Romans 7:14, "For we know that the Law is spiritual; but I was carnal, sold into the power of sin."

Also yes salvation can be lost, so you are telling me if someone calls upon the name of the Messiah, but then goes back to a life of sin, killing, raping, stealing, etc they are still going to the kingdom?

Psalm 69:27-28, "Add iniquity to their iniquity! Let them not come into Your righteousness! May they be blotted out of The Book of Life, and not be written with the righteous!"

Revelation 3:5, "He who overcomes, the same will be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name from The Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His malakim."

Romans 2:4-12, “ Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, forbearance, and longsuffering; not realizing that Yahweh’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? But according to your stubborn and impenitent mind you are storing up wrath for yourself for the day of Yahweh’s wrath, when the righteous judgment of Yahweh will be revealed; when He will reward each one according to his works: to the ones on the one hand, who, by patient persistence in doing righteousness, seek for glory, honor and immortality, He will give eternal life. But to the ones on the other hand, who are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, He will give indignation and wrath.” Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man who does evil: to the Yahdai(Jew) first, and also to the Greek (Gentile) But glory, honor, and peace to every man who works righteousness: to the Yahdai first, and also to the Greek. For there is no respect of persons with Yahweh. For as many as have sinned without the Law, will also perish without the Law, and as many as have sinned in the Law, will be judged by the Law.”

They do not comprehend there is a huge difference between a person not born of God who is habitually sinning, and a child born of God who would try to do this.

A non child of God only suffers the consequence of the sin, and they are most likely hardened to it and can not even see it.

A chilkd of God has to deal with guilt. The chastening of God. And God putting road blocks in our way to turn us from that sin. Thus as John says, a child of God can not continue in sin, it is just infeasible for this to happen. Thats why people who claim salvation and still do this, I would doubt there salvation.

They call us licentious, because they do not understand what really happens. They doubt the power of God to change lives. and only want to puff themselves up for being obedient, and judge the rest of us.
well to back it what you said also brother... i tried to test myself to see what had happen to me because i didn't understand salvation, so after i had been born again, i tried to put myself in a situation, that my old self had like, this place called oistins in barbados where people would go to meet others, and the women would dress very provocative, and when i saw that i simply COULD NOT lust, and i started to pray for these people, then i really thought i was going crazy now, because i was praying for women that are dressed by the devil... when i use to like seeing that, lol i really thought i was going crazy after that but then God spoke to me through his holy word, to show me that i was a creation, and i was not TRYING brother, this just happen naturally it was like all i knew to do was to feel pity and sad for them and try to help by praying, that's the power of Christ, i just wish people could stop with this nonsense.. and just be born again... it's sinners hiding in religion that's all it is

The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;

King James Bible
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Hebrews 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

Hebrews 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

Hebrews 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Yeah the Levite priesthood is no more and now the priesthood after the order of Melchizedek, so now 7th day Sabbath is gone too?.....

Wht is that? The 7th day is not a levitical ordinance, its Yahweh's ordinance. And the High Priest of the order of Melchizedek must have not got the memo, He thinks Sabbath is still to be kept in the endtimes:

Matththyah 24:20 "But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on the Sabbath Day, For then will be great tribulation, such as has not come to pass since the beginning of the world to this time--no, nor ever will be."

you see for the people fooling themselves that say they keep the law, you must be the most righteous people i ever see i mean to follow something your very flesh is against if it wasn't for grace every soul would be lost EVERYONE because it's impossible to keep something our flesh is against, it's not even about the entire law so much it's just about the sabbath, deep down most of you know that the law can't be kept, but it's just about the sabbath

That is nice that you are able to fully know others peoples walk and intent having never met them or even been around them, are you omni present?

this is why i pray for God to come quickly... no one know how hurt i feel watching this keep going on and on, i tried so hard this one time trying to speak to some of my friends who are adventist, trying to tell them we need to be born again, even showed them scriptures of what happens when a person is born again, i said nothing wrong brothers and sisters all i did was show the word of God, then everyone of them started to attack me, and might i add, some of these people commit adultery almost everyday, they lie, curse, and TURN AROUND and tell me I'M LOST because i don't follow the commandment? it's so sad... but God sees everything and we all have to go before the great white throne this will come back to haunt some people, you honestly believe your keeping something, and you honest believe your holy, that's self righteousness.. without you even knowing your being self righteous, i have no holyness at all, i have no righteousness, i have to lean on God everyday for his holyness to be in me, would be nice if some of you can stop a moment and just think and look at your life and stop being so STUBBORN and wrong and STRONG, it's going to be your down fall.. just listen for once

Same with you, its nice to see you know exactly how the minds of all those who believe in following Law think and know their beliefs on questions you have never asked.....are you omni present?

What is the Scriptural definition of sin?

i wish you could understand what that means... For as many as sinned without the law, is referring to the gentiles, they have no the law but will still be judged according to the works they did against the law, and the jews ( you really want to be a jew it seem ) which have always had the law, who are in the law, but let me not use MY WORDS i will use the word of God

[h=3]1 Corinthians 9:19-23[/h]King James Version (KJV)

19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
21To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
23 And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.

there you go...

Why are you not under a theocracy right now, yet you still remain under the law to obey it? Is not Christ the end of the law of righteousness to everyone that believes (Rom 10:4)?
That does not say that we are free to violate the letter of the law but that we are not under the condemnation of the law to obey it.(Rom 6:14,15).[/QUOTE]

Romans 10:4 says no such thing. Here is what it says...

Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

The word for "end" here is...

G5056
τέλος
telos
tel'-os
From a primary word τέλλω tellō (to set out for a definite point or goal); properly the point aimed at as a limit, that is, (by implication) the conclusion of an act or state (termination [literally, figuratively or indefinitely], result [immediate, ultimate or prophetic], purpose); specifically an impost or levy (as paid): - + continual, custom, end (-ing), finally, uttermost. Compare G5411.

It means outcome or point aimed at. This word, G5056 τέλος, is used other places in the N.T., let's look at them...

1Pe 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Yep, G5056 τέλος is the word used here for end. So, is your faith obliterated? Done away with? Brought to an end? or is it brought to an outcome of salvation?

Jas 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

Same word, G5056 τέλος, for end here. Is this the obliteration of the Lord? The doing away with Him? The use of the word is determined by context. Let's see how a few other translations render it...

New International Version:
Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

International Standard Version:
For the Messiah is the culmination of the Law as far as righteousness is concerned for everyone who believes

Aramaic Bible in Plain English:
For The Messiah is the consummation of The Written Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

The sense of it is the end result, not the obliteration.

That does not say that we are free to violate the letter of the law but that we are not under the condemnation of the law to obey it.(Rom 6:14,15).

Why do you say it is condemnation to obey? The implication is that we justified by disobeying the Law. Care to show me a scripture for that? Here is one to chew on...

Rom 2:13 (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified;

I wish I had a nickel for every time someone has misused Rom 10:4

there you go...

You said "For as many as sinned without the law, is referring to the gentiles, they have no the law but will still be judged according to the works they did against the law"

Seems if one is going to be judged by it they should probably know how to follow it?

And no, I seek to be a child of Yahweh:

No matter how many timies I post Scripture sj=showing the Law and the Sabbath is and always has been for Hebrews and Gentiles, this "Jew Law" thing never loses its grip huh?

Numbers 15:15-16, "One ordinance shall be for you of the congregation, and for the stranger who sojourns with you, as an ordinance forever throughout your generations. As you are, so shall the stranger be in front of Yahweh. One Law and one manner shall be for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you."

Exodus 12:48-49, "And when a stranger lives among you and wants to sacrifice the Passover to Yahweh, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near, and sacrifice it; and he shall be as a native of the land. But no uncircumcised person shall eat of it. One Law shall be for the nativeborn and for the stranger who dwells among you."

Isayah 56:6-7, "Also the sons of the Gentile who join themselves to Yahweh, to serve Him, and to love the Name of Yahweh, to be His servants--everyone who keeps the Sabbaths without polluting; defiling, them and who holds fast to My covenant--I will bring them to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My House of prayer..."

Romans 9:6-8, "However, it is not as though Yahweh's plan had failed. For it is not everyone who is a descendant of Israyl who belongs to Israyl. Nor, just because they are his descendants, are they all Abraham's children; but: In Isaac will your seed be called. That is, it is not those who are the children of the flesh who are Yahweh's children; but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham's seed."

Psalm 105:6-9, "O seed of Abraham His servant, You children of Yaaqob, His chosen ones! He is Yahweh our Father! His judgments are in all the earth. He has remembered His covenant forever, the Law He commanded for a thousand generations; Which He made; ratified, established, with Abraham, and vowed by His oath to Isaac. He confirmed it; let it stand, to Yaaqob for a Law, and to Israyl for an everlasting covenant."

Galations 3:28,29, "Is there not the Yahdai as well as the Greek; Gentile? Is there not the slave as well as the freeman? Is there not the male and the female? For all of you must be in unity in Yahshua Messiah. And if you are in Messiah, then you are a seed of Abraham, heirs according to the promise."

Psalam 89:26-37, "He will call out to Me; You are my Father, O Yahweh! You are the Rock of my salvation! And I will make Him My firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. My mercy I will keep for Him forever and My covenant will stand fast with Him. And I will establish his Seed forever, and his throne will be as the days of heaven. Should his children forsake My Law, and refuse to walk in My judgments; Should they profane My statutes, and fail to keep My commandments; Then I will punish their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with lashes from the whip. Nevertheless, My lovingkindness I will not utterly withdraw from him, nor will I ever betray My faithfulness. My covenant I will not break, nor will I change what has gone out of My lips. Once for all, I have vowed by My holiness--I cannot lie, and I say to David: His Seed will endure forever, and his throne will endure before Me like the sun. His throne will be established forever like the moon: the faithful witness in the sky."

everyone here can show you countless scriptures proving that the gentiles never had the law, but hey your gonna just be wrong and strong as you always do, i wish you would just humble yourself not before any of us but before God that he might fill you with the understand, brother it was prophecied that the gospel was gonna be so close it will deceive the very elect if possible now after saying that, we can see how close these 2 doctrines kind of is, but if your not gonna trust what anyone say all i ask is that you humble yourself before God to reveal to you what the truth is but here you go again verses that the law was never intended for gentiles

this is when the jews heard that salvation has come to the gentiles so this is what they wanted the apostles to tell the gentiles

15 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
2 When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.

and this is what the apostles said

8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

so wait let me get this straight... the apostles nor their fathers were able to bare the yoke of the law but somehow you can? interest. also i want you to look at that word PURIFYING THEIR HEARTS BY FAITH look at it good and look at this scripture

[h=3]1 Timothy 1:5[/h]King James Version (KJV)

5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:
20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
22 Then pleased it the apostles and elders with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas and Silas, chief men among the brethren:
23 And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia.
24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

yet still.... yet still, you have 2 eyes and your an educated person who can read you clearly see the apostles said not to law any yoke upon the gentiles that turned to God about keeping any law WHICH THEM THEMSELVES CANNOT KEEP NOR THEIR fathers but YET STILL! you want to be teachers of the law when you don't understand it and it isn't for the gentiles

You said "For as many as sinned without the law, is referring to the gentiles, they have no the law but will still be judged according to the works they did against the law"

you just have this follow mindset brother.. it's getting you in trouble, it's impossible to follow our flesh never had the law it has the LAW OF SIN to sin is to TRANSGRESS AGAINST THE LAW and if our flesh has it HOW ON EARTH CAN THEY FOLLOW IT? Sin has dominion over every single gentile the flesh cannot submit to the law no matter what, it's nature is against the law

[h=3]Romans 8:7[/h]King James Version (KJV)

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

if it cannot be then why are you trying instead of surrendering to God daily? each and everyone of us here our flesh serves the law of Sin, so if our flesh follows the law of Sin why are you trying to follow the law your flesh is against in the flesh?

[h=3]Romans 7:24-25[/h]King James Version (KJV)

24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

So you quoted something that disproved what you wrote:

There you go with your false accusations again. Do you not have anything better to do?

I follow Gods law. I just don;t go around praising myself for it. Because I know I still fail. Something you seem to be unable to do. And I don;t judge others for doing what I myself am unable to do..

Also yes salvation can be lost, so you are telling me if someone calls upon the name of the Messiah, but then goes back to a life of sin, killing, raping, stealing, etc they are still going to the kingdom?

So your sinless? Why do you focus on just a few sins. Your so blinded by your interpretation of the law, you can;t even see your own sin. Did God judge David for going to these things AFTER He called David a man after his own heart?

For as many as have sinned without the Law, will also perish without the Law, and as many as have sinned in the Law, will be judged by the Law.”

lol. And who is he who overcomes? A person that by his own power? Or he who is born of God.

I feel sorry for you, you who are enslaved by the law. And yes you are enslaved, because you think you are righteous. But righteousness is as filthy rags..

No matter how many times you want to say the keeping of the sabbath is for the gentiles, the word of God prove you wrong constantly, the very apostles annoited men of God gave us no such commandment as to follow any law, so if you want to take something up with anyone take it up with God and who is man to question the will of God?

24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

well there you go, your trying to earn salvation, it's impossible, salvation is given and cannot be lost show me one scripture that says salvation can be lost, the only way that a person can be LOST is if they die in Sin, and a believer cannot die of Sin how can they, they have the very seed and nature of God in the inward man whatever Sin that is commited in the flesh isn't added upon us, all God sees when he look upon his children is a perfect person

[h=3]Ephesians 4:30[/h]King James Version (KJV)

30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

did it say whereby you are sealed until you sin? until you backslide? until you fall? no.. UNTIL THE DAY OF REDEMPTION word of God for you brother, the only thing we have to worry about is if we fall back into sinning wilfully is the wrath of God which isn't pretty, could even end up dying in this mortal life because of it, but don't take my word for it here is the scripture

[h=3]Hebrews 10:26-29[/h]King James Version (KJV)

26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

if death came to those who disobeyed the law of moses back in the day, of how much more punishment will you receive for sinning against the lord and making his temple and unholy thing?

i want you take a look at the apostles of what they did and what occured when they had been born again, they were all led by the holy spirit, you see that is our Job we are the hands and feet of God, and when we surrender our lives to him, we serve him and have to listen to where he leads us, so as the bible gave examples the same way the disciples and apostles were lead by the spirit, the same way those born of God will be led, why are they being led? to find the lost souls to minister to them so that the fullness of the gentiles can come in and all of this can be over with, the lost souls that are ordained to life will hear our voice because it's not our voice it's his voice we are his mouth peice and the sheep listens to the voice of it's shepherd

Brother hizikyah, please do not feel offended in anyway no one should be offended we just want to know and make sure everyone going down the right path, all i ask is that you just humble yourself before God and before your brethren i do the same also, because brother our knowledge doesn't cut it, we need to hear what God has to say about it, i don't claim to know it all i can only telling you what i see after what i experienced with God and this knowledge is not my knowledge brother as God as my witness i'm just a poor sinner.. who God called and i accepted him, and not only me brothers they are many out there who are receiving knowledge from God through salvation, some may think after looking at me that i was very familiar and a constant reader of the word of God, but i know not nothing, only until God revealed himself to me i was able to read the bible different than how i did before, and that is why i can tell you this... because every believe feels it, the life was lived in the bible within you, you understand because it's the same spirit within you it's like reading a story about yourself that you wrote, not saying i know everything i'm still growing and finding out more daily

Same with you, its nice to see you know exactly how the minds of all those who believe in following Law think and know their beliefs on questions you have never asked.....are you omni present?

What is the Scriptural definition of sin?

lol. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

You are the one assuming. You assume all of us grace people love to live in sin, Love to do everything we can against God. and you are in error. So if your going to judge us for assuming, You should stop yourself. and stick to the facts.

What defines sin. Tell me. Scripture said if you look on a lady with lust, you have committed sin, If you know to do right, yet do not do it, it is sin. Nothing in the law would tell us that these are sins. So you tell me, What does scripture define as sin?

Lets see. A man and woman ate a peace of fruit and the fall of ALL mankind occured. The earth started to die, this seemingly small sin (which was not contained in the law) caused all these horrific things to occure, not only to mankinds actions, Our bodies (disease and sickness) but nature.. And all you want to focus on is the sabbath, murder and sexual sin??

See thats your problem. You do not know what sin is, You think you holy because you follow ten commandments. Yet if ALL you follow is these. like the pharisees, You will never know how truely sinful you are.

What is sin? ANYTHING you do with SELF in mind.

But you people do not want to know this, because you would have to admit, your just as much sinners as the rest of us. And that would destroy your pride. (there is your biggest sin, Pride outways all sins you love to focus on, Because ALL SIN, Including those) ARE BASED ON PRIDE!

Rom 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
