The question is also context. The Scripture examples in the paper given by Mr Choung indicate highly commendable, active ministry by women, although the explicit context of those examples is not demonstrably in public in the worship meetings of the local church: I would like to see this demonstrated from the passages themselves.

Please show me one verse that God clearly approve of women preaching at the pulpit. Not in any other capacity just preaching at the pulpit. I will be waiting.

I don't think we can compare the church with Israel: it's a completely separate entity with a different covenant.

Thanks. I am here for the fellowship with my Christian brothers & sisters. Learned alot from others and wish to share my knowledge and willing to back it up. I have received a few high compliments for my knowledge on the Scriptures since my stay on CC. If I see a christian brother or sister stumble on the scripture, I will point out the truth and willingly to back it up . I am not here for the power or glory but to preach & spread the gospel in Jesus' name like many others. It is sad so many Christians here & off CC have little knowledge on the Bible but want to give opinions about how "it should be." As you probably know tens of millions of Christians have abandoned the faith and are lost. Many want to come back and are looking for answers, and it is very important that we give them the correct answers and encouragements.

When Paul says the words I suffer not in 1 tim 2:12, it can be more literally translated "I am not allowing" Paul did not forbid women to teach from ever teaching men. Paul frequently mentioned other women who held positions of responsibility in the church. Phebe in romans 16:1, mary, tryphena, and tryphosa in romans 16:6, 12. Euodias and syntyche in Philippians 4:2/
In Corinthians 11:5 Paul acknowledges that women pray and prophesy...and Joel 2 says your sons and your DAUGHTERS shall prophesy..
If we say that women cannot preach then we are basically limit God. If I know correctly, Each and everyone us has as distinct purpose in Christ? Some are called to do preach, some to be musicians, some are even called to bake cakes for the glory of God...but we all have a purpose.

False. We were grafted into the Israelites and their covenant, promises and law became our own through the adoption. Jesus speaks of this, how we are grafted in and become a part of their lineage.

I would be the first one to tell you that Christianity would have not survived without the participation of women in the ministry in the capacity of spreading the faith as a teacher, instructor and etc. And I am sure Paul if he was alive today would give me an Amen. But at the pulpit Paul made it clear that it was not to be so. Sorry prophesing is not a form teaching at a pulpit. Women are going to preach regardless if God likes it or not.

The word bishop and pastor can be used interchangeably.
A bishop is an overseer of a congregation and assembly of born again believers.
A pastor is also an overseer of a congregation of believers.
Actually, the word pastor is found in the Holy Scriptures. It is found in the book of Jeremiah:

At the foot of the Corss, there is no difference or distinction in relation to Salvation. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Rom. 10:13). Anyone can be saved if they believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
Spiritual equality in relation to salvation in Jesus Christ does not do away with or eradicate the different and distinct roles of authority and leadership in the Church.
Jesus is indeed the Good Sheperd just as the word of God says.
Now how does that mean that men cannot be called pastors???
The word "pastor" is a title and not a name. Just as the word "bishop" is a title and not a name.

And I already showed you that the CONTEXT of Galatians 3:28 is not about roles of authority and leadership in the Church. But rather, that the context of Galatians 3:28 is about Salvation.

I already showed in the Scriptures where women are not permitted to preach or to teach.
The office of Bishop and Pastor is a role and position that only men are to fill.
And not women.
