Another loser who got her feelings hurt.
I really hope you aren't a sixty year old christian male. It just cannot be possible that you are what a man in Christ has to look forward to in maturity.

Another loser who got her feelings hurt?

Can you please point to me somewhere in the bible where Jesus Christ the Lamb of God that died for your sins said ''Another loser who got her feelings hurt.''? Perhaps it was in John 8:1-11, maybe around 10-12?

10When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

11She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
12 As she walked off Jesus mumbled under his breath ''Another loser who got her feelings hurt.''

No you can't. Because the verse isn't there, because Jesus never said that. So where did you learn it?

I really hope you aren't so hardened that you think you are following this with statements like that.
[h=3]Mark 12:30-31[/h]King James Version (KJV)

30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Unless you go around calling yourself a loser as well, then I can't really identify how you are obeying this verse because....

[h=3]John 14:15[/h]New American Standard Bible (NASB)

15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

Come on.

[h=3]Titus 2:2[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

2 that the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

As to the actual post. People can get married at any age. I know a guy at a church I went to who got married for the first..I think he was 67.

Also I have been single for 35 years so, it isn't that bad.

So I think it's best to just stay single, hold out for the good one.

Oh and I hope she doesn't mind but the user bridgetleftchina, I remember when she joined and conversation in the lounge about how she didn't think she would get married. She just recently did. She was totally convinced it would never happen at the time.

Wow, there sure is a lot of stuff here.

I'm just going to answer the original post question thingy.

I'm 34, and I want to find someone my age-range-ish. I'd actually prefer a little older.

However, I have a weirdly opposite problem.
I keep getting solicited by women much younger than myself. And it makes me feel a little weird. I honestly wouldn't care their "age" so long as they had, you know, a fully developed personality / tastes / well-thought-out opinions. And gals a decade my junior are all running around with "lol i lik 2 laf n hav fun." Oh yes, please tell me more. Your uniqueness shines through the swathe of humanity like the sun on a fall morning.

I don't really know why so many guys want a gal who is so very young, but...I know that's not me. I'd like someone who has firm opinions (firm because she has very good reasons to hold them), but who isn't just bull-headed about it (she could change her views if given sufficient evidence). I'd like someone who has interesting thoughts. Someone who can cause *ME* to laugh. I just don't really get the sense that that's what I'd be getting with most 24 year old gals.

So to sum up: there is hope, you have a chance. Be aware that the guy is likely to be just as particular as you about the stuff he finds desirable in a person. And that can be GREAT if you find someone who matches you on those things. :)

I'd say the topic should have been If Someone Isn't married by the age of 50, Will They be Single Forever? Because the fact that someone is single does not mean they are alone. The spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend are not the answer for our loneliness at all. Sorry.

Now, to answer the question the way I phrased it, I'd say I myself don't know. It's in God's hands. No body knows or will ever know. If God wants, you could get married at any age. You could get married a short while before you die. OR you could get married right now. Who knows!! :)

I forgot to tell you that I am not "politically correct." Which means I am not one of those men who will tolerate the female abuses because the status quo demand I do. It's Ok for CC female posters to insult me but I can't insult them back?? Sorry, I am from the old school of thought. You hit me I will hit you back.

i just put up a post biscuit in which you liked regarding Christians who want to argue just to prove a point. Yet in this statement you have made you clearly state that you hit back, doing just what I was referring to in my post. Why did you even like my post? Are you playing both sides? Or are you acknowledging you are one of those Christians I was referring to? I'm not accusing you, just wondering if you can clear this up?

Didn't Jesus 'hit back" at the Jewish Sanhedrin for breaking their own laws? Of course he did. Didn't Jesus voice His displeasure at them by calling them names? Of course He did. I did nothing wrong except voice the truth which the Bible specified as necessary in 2 Timothy 4:2-4.

I am cautious not to accuse you because I do not know you. I do know that Jesus had authority to say those things to those religious people of his time. Jesus also used wisdom when dealing with them and spoke words to them that weighed heavily on their hearts. That is why they hated him. I also read in the scriptures that we must not be backbiters and if we are to reprove and rebuke if that authority is given to us then it must be out of love, not a desire to be right in the sight of men.

Then you just "judged" me because how do you know I didn't do it out of love. I have repeatedly stated on CC that I love my Christian brothers & sisters. Yep!! you are right, you don't know me, therefore you shouldn't judge me before getting the facts

Because all that's required in order to be loving, is simply saying that you love someone.

It is a requirement for Christians, especially 'saved Christians" which I am. Are you?

4Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 5does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, 6does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
