Can a woman be 'called' by God into ministry to teach and preach men?

Yes He can and has been doing that for ages now. We are all members of the same body, the office we are called to be in will differ as pointed out by some but sure enough God can use a woman. If there is no man to lead He will use a woman but His first preference is a man. God does not go by the outside but by the heart of the person. He uses what the world say "it can't be done" to glorify Himself. I am not saying a woman should aspire to lead a church it ought to be a man. We do have a shortage of laborers of the harvest. So then pray that more laborers to be raised up. Pray for more men of God to be raised up. Men whose heart are after God and not puffed up and occupied with money and business. Who are not lazy and will take the initiative. Who are diligently seeking God. Men who reflect God's standards not their own. Who are open to correction if it means through a woman. Who have respect for women and do not look on women as the weaker one. Who are Christlike. Too many men who become ministers of God become puffed up with the fact "they know" and run church like a private company and suffer members with their knowledge not God's own. Sometimes not even preaching the bible but just focusing on working up people's emotions and milking their money out. Men were designed to think in a governing way that is to dominate where as women will think in a administrative way that is how to go about something both require balance. Pray also for strong women of God to be in the lives of the strong men of God to provide the support he will need.

Our Lord Jesus Christ used a Samaritan woman who lived a questionable lifestyle to evangelize to her town. She went out telling people about Him after He spoke to her. Yes as pointed out both Aquilla and Priscilla taught Apollo because he had a great desire to serve the Lord to preach. Scripture says both of them taught Apollo it did not say Aquilla taught while his wife listened. Deborah was chosen to judge because there was no man fit for the job but she never step out of line being a woman but did as she was instructed to do. A servant of God be it male or female must be accept correction and obey instructions. He created male and female for a reason each one designed with particular strengths and weaknesses. He never intended that men try to be women or women try to be men.

Anna was a widow and she spent the rest of life serving at the temple and met with Mary and Joseph when they presented Jesus to the temple according to their law. Because of each one's unique design God will use in different ways there have been many instances in the bible in which God used a woman to save the lives of people. Ministry does not have to be limited to leading a church it can be as simple as checking up on those who are the babes in faith or weak physically. It could be seeing a need and seeking God to find a way to help. If a woman is the believer in the household and she is the strong in faith because due to her personal circumstance she has had to cling closer to God should she be denied a voice if her voice can help someone in a similar circumstance?

Thank God there is a forum such as this where we can all interact and edify and learn from each other where there are no boundaries of geography, race, social status, gender, age, denomination, education level, professional status and marital status.

A forum that allows us to share experiences our testimonies etc that provides encouragement. This is indeed a wonderful thing. For those who have no home church this allows them to interact with other Christians.

Try to reason with me here Phil please. Let's assume I am someone who doesn't know about God n' I'm asking you believers saying "Oh, can God make from these rocks children for Abraham?" OR "Can God call a woman into ministry to teach n' preach?" n' instead of simply answering me saying "Yes, God can do anything He wants" you give me a lesson in theology. Would that help me learn about God Phil? I'm asking about God's capability n' you are sitting here giving me lectures in theology!!!! How is that relevant to the purpose of my question Phil??

You can't have it both ways. Either you go exactly by the bible or you don't. May I point out it is hypocrisy to claim you do when you don't. Paul was unequivocal in his teaching. He said, and I quote: "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man". He did not say, "well, maybe sometimes it's okay".

Most of us agree (if not all) that woman can preach, but not LEAD the body (which right now is being a pastor). Gender is used for roles. There's different roles in a marriage, and in church life. Timothy goes into these roles. The verse that shows Gender doesn't matter is Galatians 3:28 and it is specifically referring to salvation, not in every single thing we do. Its basically saying any gender and any race can be saved, not that there are no such thing as races and no such thing as genders.

Oh it absolutely could be, but what I was saying wasn't just for church service. Say there's heavy duty snow in an area and people can't go to church so everyone meets in smaller groups in there area to teach. If one group is a group of women, obviously a woman will teach. If there is a man though who can teach, then the man should teach. (assuming the small groups are teaching, if it isn't teaching and its just a worship service then I think woman can lead regardless).

God has written that His word will never pass away. Heaven and earth will pass away but Gods word will remain. For God to say one thing and on a whim do another is impossible.

That is completely consistent with Gods word. God has concluded them all in unbelief that He might have mercy upon all. Not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

What's funny about that? It is what He told us in the bible. The bible is His word. Surely you have read John 1. What Paul told is what he was told by "the word made flesh that walked among us". I advise using extreme caution before rejecting anything Paul said.

It is a justification. I don't think you'll be condemned for it, but you are totally throwing out God's word by saying its okay for you to teach men, when the bible specifically says to not. (In a church setting) Does God have the capability? Sure, will he? NO. why? Cuz he said what is and isn't okay. Would he lie?

But there is an order.
Holy Scripture promotes women Preaching,Teaching,etc to others.
i agree totally.
But it doesn't mean Women can lead Church.
There are no Holy Scripture verses supporting it,please quote if any.
Talk from Biblical perspective.
But i don't want to question much if i missed any indirect Scripture Passage that clears the mystery saying women can lead church.
But i disagree with any haughty man/woman who lead anything Spiritual in Church without God's Calling(they cannot quit then even if they wish,thats the difference and its visible )...

Leading Church is not Preaching and Teaching.Its a more Higher calling for the role of Shepherd.Still need convincing verses to confirm it.Leading Church is not standing in pulpit,its a heavy task.
eg:Adminstrator doesn't come here in open often and reveal too much.But he has authority.Its not talk,its controlling.Its not the lime light glory.

And you are saying that after travelling the whole world in different ages in time since Christianity began?
you contradict what Holy Scripture says.Holy Bible doesn't have nothing mentioned directly about women leading Church(so i think they should not if there are capable men in Church).But there might be remote places where wise women lead because men there are not willing enough.
we shouldn't under estimate God
