This is always the reaction of a person who is stuck under law. Falsley accusing others of the practice of lawlesness.
I am only going by what John832 continually posts and judging from his reactions to what I post it is obvious he doesn't believe the same gospel.

Had one examine Romans 10:14-21 carefully, which was regarding the gospel, he would notice Paul quoted much from Isaiah chapters 52 - 65. Had one studied Isaiah chapters 52 - 65, one would understand what the gospel and repentance are about - the same for the Jews and the gentiles.

Jesus taught this...

Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Joh 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Invisible and all you can see is the result.

I, by God through Son am right now born again in the Spirit not the flesh and as the fervent heat melts away this earth and a new earth begins in the redeemed flesh that joins the born again Spirit of God we will have much praise then, yet for now we are to be alive in Spirit of God and dead to flesh, the mind set of being dead to flesh with Christ's death to flesh. We probably all heard and agreed with Jeremiah 17:5-8
Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord. That person will be like a bush in the wastelands; they will not see prosperity when it comes. They will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives.“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.

Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.

What we don't agree with is Jeremiah 17:19-27 to keep the Sabbath day holy physically.

The Israelites were punished because of spiritual whoredom which led to desecration of the physical Sabbath.
Now if the Israelites served as an example and if we claim that we obey the Lord spiritually why one would speak against physical Sabbath keeping is beyond me.

Anyone that pounds the ground with one must obey this Sabbath day as Law is required to obey the whole Law perfectly.
So go ahead and work out to the end of the energy of your own flesh, God is showing you truth that passes human understanding growing each of us all up to the unity of the Faith that was and shown in Son, as well as many other Saints Hebrews 11 gives a great account of all these that walked by Faith

Uh, explain to me how this negates the Law...

Jas 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
Jas 2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

It simply says that if you break one, you are guilty of all. That does away with the Law how?

Of course not, in context it shows how foolish it is for someone to say that Paul forsook obedience to God in order to win someone to Christ. He did not forsake keeping the Sabbath to win souls. He did, however observe customs of Gentiles that were not contrary to God's Law but you will never find where Paul compromised the Law of God.

Oh yes he did as Saul, he did of the flesh self efforts that he puts no confidence anymore been shown by God himself the futility in flesh doings.
Even as the disciples saw this very same thing and asked Christ how to get to Heaven seeing how they never could by Law

Matthew 19, about the rich man who obeyed Law and still could not be perfect and that is when thew disciples asked:
Matthew 19:25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

Not saying anyone that tries to keep law a part or all neglects law or upholds Law. I am saying God judges ones motive behind what one does do or not do. And it was the Law of Moses that brought about more sinfulness, them trying to obey it by their own works making righteousness them and not God. Read Isaiah 1 how displeased God was with his first Chosen trying to have their own righteousness, when God the Father is the only one righteous
The Law in trying to obey it shows one their inability to obey it all perfectly and need Father through Son Christ

Isn't grace what we need when we do fall short?

Grace is what we got while we were yet failures God through Christ, Son died for us, and in response to the creator we are doers of the Love of God to all, no matter whether they beleive God to have taken away their sins or not
By what God has done through Son for us I am at rest in the Sabbath with God the Father and Son the Christ 24/7 no more conscience of sin, no more working at it, just loving as I am loved, and forgiving to all since I am forgiven.
See the response, for I am the creation not the creator. My response is thank you.
And what is yours, I have to or else? Or I do because I am willing to. One is creating and the other is responding
I respond with as King David entering his courts with thanksgiving and praise no matter where I am at or what i am doing

So what does that mean? Does it mean to cause your flesh to somehow "obey" commandments? To work really hard and show God how much you love Him?

No. It means to have faith in Christ, to trust in Him, that through His Spirit you are changed and caused to walk in His Statutes.

If your work at the law pleased God He would have no need to send His Son. There must have been a reason for God to send His Son to die for our sins. Was it just so that you had the "freedom" to work even harder at the law so He could forgive you every 15 seconds as you break it? no...

Matthew 11:28 [SUP] [/SUP]Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

You already know He is your Passover. How come you don't know He is your Sabbath as well??? He tells you in plain words that He is. He didn't just save the bulls and goats from sacrifice. He saved us from sin and death. Not by our works, but by His.

How does Christ give you this rest from your own works? By the Spirit.

Galatians 5:22-23

The Lord Jesus causes us to walk in His Statutes by His Holy Spirit. He changes us from the inside out. This is all that is needed to please God. Faith in Jesus Christ that He is who He says He is and He will do what HE says He will do.

Ezekiel 36:24-28

[SUP]24 [/SUP]For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
[SUP]25 [/SUP]Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

This is not a carnal prophecy. This is a spiritual prophecy fulfilled by the Lord Jesus Christ. You'd be amazed at all the things the Lord Jesus has and does fulfill. The fruit of the Spirit is what causes us to walk in His Statutes and these fruit are grown and given by the Lord Jesus Christ. By abiding in Him. By trusting in Him. By having faith in Him.

But you are speaking against what I just quoted from Jeremiah.
He says: curse is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the Lord.
He says: keep the Sabbath holy.
He says: yet they did not listen or pay attention. they were stiff-necked and would not listen or respond to discipline.
Tell me, in the context, what are the one who depends on flesh - the one who keeps the Sabbath holy or the one who does not?

Is there a difference in:
Spirit of Law and Letter?

The Sabbath is here again just like it has been every 7th day since the beginning. Hope all that observe 7th day Sabbath have a blessed day in it. Have a peaceful Sabbath. Jesus told us to pray that our flight is not in winter or on the Sabbath, and i pray this for those that honor and keep His day Holy.

And I pray God's love permeates to all in all and though all, loving all, for if we only love those that love us, how can we claim to have God's love or even show it?
Does not all people love those that love them, and hate those that do not? (Luke 6:32 onward)

It's odd that you would claim (albeit falsely) that he magnifies the letter of the law above the law of Christ, by referencing a post where he cites Christ talking about those who practice lawlessness.

Is not lawlessness only loving those that love you?
