The Bible teaches that the end will come when the time of the gentiles is complete. Consider this: the time is when Christians lose sight of God’s heart as the Pharisees and Scribes had in the time of our Messiah’s birth.

The churches have led and are leading the God- seekers of today astray, exactly as the Pharisees had in the day of our Lords birth. Distorting Yhvh: They control the Lord’s followers with the traditions of man. They study only to prove what they have been saying, not to discover the truth. They are willing to prove none of what they say short of divine inspiration, babble or twisted verses.

They play on the greed of man with promises not made by Yhvh but to please the wealthy with promises of surety.

They threaten the poor with eternal torment, promising immediate rewards and blessings toward their prosperity. Distancing themselves from those who felt let down, even condemning them for a lack of faith. This is not what Yhvh says to do within the bible, but it is what He warned us about!

As we study, we find those who choose to teach the word are held to a much higher standard. (millstone around the neck, etc.) That implies grace no longer applies to the teachers. When we choose to stand in the light of being an authority, we remove ourselves as sheep to become keepers of those sheep. Keepers of the sheep are held accountable for their stewardship over the sheep and outer darkness is the misleader’s end. So when any of us take a stance as to the heart of God, let us be sure.

For which part of my statement do you need scripture, you Barron of insults. Your arrogance is showing with quite the insulting attitude. You have shown forth the spirit of Satan here claiming to be a follower of the God of Love. So what do your words of ridicule count as.

The book of Assumptions is not a book of the real Bible. Is it one of the "false" writings added to the OLd T. books about 1400 AD..? The Jews never accepted them as God's WORD. They were added by the false church , the Roman Catholic church. Today we have many false protestant churches which destroy the Bible also. The context of Luke.21:24 is 70ad with the destruction of the Jews temple. The Jews were then scattered to the four corners of the world, then v24 jumps ahead in time to today, when Jesus is about to return to rapture the Church and then 3 and a half yrs latter, Jesus will return to earth to rule the world. Therefore the "times of the Gentiles" has been for about 2,000yrs all ready, and will only end when Jesus comes to rule, or ,at the rapture the Church. . LOve to all, Hoffco

The title of this thread reminds me of patterns in the Bible where God's judgement is delayed until the fullness of iniquity is come. A sobering thought, as individuals, what measure of iniquity do we contribute? It is a question Spurgeon asks in this sermon, of which I include his conclusion. The complete sermon is here:http://www.spurgeongems.org/vols52-54/chs3043.pdf

I often wonder why some of you come to hear me

as you do. It puzzles me, for I see no reason why
you should do so. I offer you no amusement. I tell you no comi
cal stories, but I seek to break your hearts
with the hammer of the Word of G
od! You come and you go, yet you get
no blessing as far as I can see.
Are you content to always have it so?
If you are, I am not content! I am
at least responsible for faithfully
warning you and honestly preaching to
you the great Gospel message, “Believe
on the Lord Jesus Christ,
and you shall be saved.” Every time I stand in th
is pulpit, there is some
body here who never comes
again—he cannot come again, for he dies before the ne
xt Lord’s-Day. So large
is the congregation here
that I may almost say, speaking according to the laws
of probability, that it is almost certain that some
one of us will have gone the way of all flesh before
this week is gone. Who will
it be? May God take the
ripe and spare the green! May He take those who ar
e ready and spare those who are not ready! But,
better still, may He lead us all to
trust in the Savior and then we
shall all be ready whenever the
summons comes! May He do so, for His name’s sake! Amen

By comparing scripture and history, this is what I think the age of the gentiles is from what I imagine God's point of view is. There is a lot of man sort of thinking in this, it is something to think about and put what ever scripture could apply to it. Please don't discard my reasoning without thinking about it, nor say that scripture passages back up my conclusions so you must accept my thinking.

As soon as the gentiles took over leadership of the Christian church, after the Bar Kokhba Revolt in 132 AD, they began teaching a sort of anti Semitism. It wasn't scripture based, but they used scripture. They even used the book of Romans, explaining the Jew/gentile relationship in detail to back up their claims. Romans explains that we are equal in God's eyes, Jews unbelief is because they are blinded for our sakes, and that God is protecting them, these people ignored that. OT scripture says that it explains God, it is scripture. They said only Paul and the letters explained God and sometimes they didn't agree, they said. The letters were after the OT scripture, so that was the only truth. Scripture says it is all the same one God, and they agree perfectly. The gentiles said God changed, scripture said God was eternal and never changed.

Follow history until the Nicene Creed, that established Christ as God. That creed also established as law that gentiles were better than Jews. We were to have nothing to do with anything of the OT teachings that were too Jewish, so even Christian celebration were completely changed to man made ones. Jews became Christ killers. Anything of the OT that tells of God became Judinizing. No more than 15 years ago, I would have considered questioning Easter as not better than Passover to celebrate Christ as a terrible thing to do.

All this time, the time of the gentile, we have murdered Jews. Luther, a great worker for the Lord, suggested it was doing the Lord's work if we murdered a rabbi. Only recently is that looked at as God would see it.

Until recently, "Jew" was not only considered Christ killers, but leaders in people living a life devoted to God, even though they were blinded to Christ. They were not blinded to the knowledge a messiah would come, just that the messiah God sent was not the one. The scripture saying God protected them was ignored, they were only deemed enemies of Christ. Yet for many years of history, it was only the Jews that showed the world what living for God was like, and made them want to copy that. Read middle age history and you will see.

Ever since God separated Abraham and gave him and his descendants the commission to show God to us, God has also made them a special people. It isn't that they are more important, it is a sort of thank you to them from God.

These are the last days. God sent the deep sea scrolls that opened up OT understanding. God is showing us prophecy coming true for the first time in 2,000 years. There are churches that announce that they believe God shows Himself in the OT, and we should listen, for the first time. They say to understand Christ, we first need to understand the OT foundations Christ used to build on. These churches are treated in the same way Christ was treated, saying it is not so, we should only be against anything Jewish. The age of the gentile is coming to an end, the ago of God is coming.

Scripture says that Jerusalem will be a center for all of this. That Jews will learn of Christ. I trust scripture, but how God will bring this about is beyond anything I can imagine. Jews are mostly not God fearing, today!!

[h=3]Luke 21:24-27 (KJV)[/h]
[SUP]24 [/SUP]And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

[SUP]25 [/SUP]And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
[SUP]26 [/SUP]Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

By reading the context the times of the Gentiles ends at the return of Christ.

Shows you must not study very good. Rather than show Bible why you disagree all you can do is to be critical. By their fruits

This also shows that there will be no third temple built. For a third temple to be built the times of the Gentiles would have to end and it does not end till Jesus returns.

The times of the gentiles or rather church comes to an end at the rapture, where we meet Him in the clouds and not His return for at His return we ( the church) come with Him.

Daniel reveals the layout for Gentile nations (not the church) in prophecy. When that statue revealed to Nebuchadnezzar falls ,the time of the Gentiles (their rule) ends.

why do people ask questions such as this? How do some of the question I see on this site help the body of Christ? I see a lot of vain babblings and questions that only cause confusion and strife and I am asking myself why? Can someone help me understand why people ask such questions?

I gotcha, yes the gentiles are in rule, but the church is taken out of the way before the stone smashes the feet of the statue.

Love ya bro.

could be, as long as we don't confuse 'times of the Gentiles' with the Church age. :)

The "time of the Gentiles" ended when Israel took back the temple mount in 1967.

I understand that speculations about the timing of different parts of the last days is vain babblings. God has never told us how he will fulfill prophecy, and when we decide God does something he has never done, it is vain babblings when we decide God has. But God has told us about the age of the gentiles.

In 132 AD the gentiles took over leadership of the church. That began age of the gentiles. Gentiles still has leadership of the church. That would say we are in that age right now.

It would also say that we need to carefully look at our leadership, to see if it is God directed. That is not vain babblings. We have murdered Jews. We have created our man made celebrations of God and denied any that God suggested. Anytime the OT is mentioned as something as a way to learn about God someone says it is old and the old is passed away. It is NOT vain babblings. We will soon be judged by what we have done.

there will be another Temple, because the anti-christ will make a peace treaty with Israel and they will start to rebuild the Temple (most is are ready at hand in the form of prefabricated modules, will take them only a few months to build) This Temple will take up the blood offerings described in the old testament books such as Leviticus and the rest of the books of Moses. The rapture will take place, the anti-christ will come to power and one of the first things he will do is make a peace treaty with Israel. We don't know how much time will pass until this treaty is signed, but when signed, then the clock will start ticking because then starts the 7 years end times scenario. And in the middle of this 7 years this anti-christ will be killed and he will be resurrected again and then all hell will break loose for Israel and the world. Everything is "Written" Mathew 24, Ezekiel, Revelations, read and show ones knowledge of God's Word.
