"Hebrew crap" "im cursed" You are a vile person. Im posting a few thiongs and im done talking to you. You were talking love and whatnot to fellow humans, and this..... fruit...fruit.

Abraham prayed with the Names of Yahweh

Genesis 12:7-8, "7 Then Yahweh appeared to Abram, and
said: To your descendants I will give
this land. And he built an altar there to
Yahweh Who appeared to him.
8 And he went from there to the hill east
of Beth El, and he gpitched his tent there;
2aBeth El was to the west of him, and
2bAi was to the east. G1There he built an
altar to Yahweh, and there he prayed
with the Name of Yahweh
."

Exodus 6:3 is mistranslated in most translations, the hebrew shows a negative affirmations:
3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and
to Yaaqob as Yl Shaddai; Almighty
Strength, but by MY NAME
G1YAHWEH, was I not known to them?

Yahshua says these are the greatest Commandments, NOT THE ONLY! If that werent enough He clearly states all the Law hang on these 2.

Mattithyah 22:37-40, "Yahshua said to him: You must love Yahweh your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

Shaul clearly understands what the Messiah means and explains it here:

Romans 13:9, "For the commandments: You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not bring false testimony, You shall not covet, and all other commandments are briefly summed up in these Laws; namely: You must love your neighbor as yourself."

All as in even the ones he didn't list...

Try breaking Leviticus 19:17 and still be loving your neighbor according to Messiah.

And try breaking the 4th Commandment and still be loving Yahweh.

Exodus 20:6, "But showing love to thousands who love Me by keeping My Laws."

Mattithyah 19:17-21, "But He said to him: Why do you question Me about righteousness? There is only One Who is the standard of perfection, and that is Yahweh; so if you would enter into life, keep the Laws of Yahweh. He then asked Yahshua; Which ones? Yahshua said: You shall not murder. you shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false testimony. Honor your father and mother, and; You shall love your neighbor as yourself. The young man said to Him; All these things I have kept from my youth up; what do I yet lack? Yahshua said to him: If you want to come to the perfection, go and sell of what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and you will be walking in Yahweh's ways, and following Me."

Deuteronomy 10:12-13, "And now, O Israyl, what does Yahweh your Father require of you, but to reverence Yahweh your Father by walking in all His ways, by loving Him, by serving Yahweh your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul. By keeping the Laws of Yahweh, with His statutes, which I command you this day, so that you may be blessed?"

1 Yahchanan 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of Yahweh: When we love Yahweh by keeping His Laws. For this is the love of Yahweh: That we keep His Law, and His Law is not grievous."

Mattithyah 22:37, "Yahshua said to him: You must love Yahweh your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might."

1 Corinthians 2:9, "But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the mind of man the things which Yahweh has prepared for those who love Him."

1 Yahchanan (John) 2:4, "He who says: I know Him, but does not keep His Law, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."
Dude, Abraham did not speak Hebrew. He spoke his native tongue (Chaldean) and he had been calling god by his Chaldean name long before he left the ur of the chaldees. Mose wrote his words in hebrew, it does not mean Abraham spoke hebrew.

If your going to be this hardened to not even admit this. There is no reason to continue with any other conversation if your going to sit there and be adament that abraham called God yahweh when he did not.

All you are doing is proving what a pharisee you are.

Jesus is the Authority of love, Yet He called what you are doing, blind guides and broods of vipers. You my friend, and say it in love, are rejecting the cross. I have no doubt that you love God. But, you are going about it the wrong way. Go back and read what I have posted and think for a minute. What can you do that God will accept? The pharisee's kept what you are keeping and God rejected them to the point that they could not even understand what He was saying. He said tear down this temple and I will rebuild it in three days. They had no idea of what He was talking about. Though they studied the scripture. I meant the messiah was in there face but, they could not let go of their bondage and sent their savior to the cross. It is possible that if they had accepted Him, that He could have ushered in the kingdom age at that point. That's why Jesus wept and said O' Jerusalem how often would I have swept you under my wing as a hen does her chicks, But you would not have me. They chose law over Christ. That my brother is what you are doing.

How am I rejecting the Messiah by doing what He says? He says repeatedly to follow Yahweh';s Law. Again I ask anyone to find a verse where He says not to.

No the pharisees DID not keep Yahweh Law:

Mark 7:7-9, "But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrine the commandments of men. For laying aside the Law of Yahweh, you hold the tradition of men! Then He said to them: How well you reject the Law of Yahweh, so that you may keep your own tradition!"

10-12, "For Mosheh said: Honor your father and your mother; and: Whoever curses father or mother, let him be put to death; But you say; If a man will say to his father or mother: Anything of mine which might have benefited you is qorban You excuse him from doing what he is obligated to do for his father and his mother."

Kerry we have talked many times...

The pharisees problem (one of them) was that they made their own law and would not follow Yahweh;s Law. The Messiah rebuked them for that in evey encounter He had with them.

All I see is modern day pharisees making their own laws but refusing to submit to Yahweh.

So tell me exactly, Scriptually im "rejecting the cross"

Show me with Messiah's words.

Luke 6:46, "And why call Me; Ruler! Ruler! and do not the things which I say?"

Mattithyah 7:23, "But then I will declare to them; I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who practice iniquity."

iniquity is:#0458 anomia {an-om-ee'-ah} from G0459

Greek Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar)
1) the condition of without law
1a) because ignorant of it
1b) because of violating it
2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness

dude, your the one promoting a license to sin.

It is ok for you to sin, because you THINK you follow Gods law.

if you knew Gods law, you would never say we were promoting it is ok to sin, you would be with us realising what a wretched man you were.

You think your honoring God by keeping law. No one from Moses to Caiaphas was able to keep the law, what makes you think that you can. If they could, then what was the need for Jesus to die on the cross?

People I am not promoting sin, what the HBR people are doing is promoting sin. They say you must have a Hebrew name like Hizakayah, They say you must keep the feast. They say you must wear a prayer shawl to get your prayers answered. They say that you must call Him Yeshua and that you must call the Father Ya whew. But when I got I saved I asked Jesus to forgive my sins and to be the Lord of my life. I have never used any of the terms above. When He saved me, I detested sin and I no longer found pleasure in it. I wanted the things of God. When The Lord pointed out something that displeased Him I tried my best to stop doing it. When I found that I could not stop, I asked why, whats wrong with me. Then I realized that my faith was not in the proper place and The Holy Spirit would not help me. He is the Helper, The teacher, and the up holder. I realized, that if I place my faith in what I do, The Spirit will not help me. But when I return my faith to the cross, He is right there.

What these HBR people are teaching is that you must do this or that in order for God to accept you. The contrary is true, accept God the way you are and He will clean you He will create in you a new man, one that detest sin. Before you are saved you loved sin and rolled in it and played in it and loved it. But when you knelt at the cross something changed. You no longer liked the night club. Something in you said don't do this. Faith is the only thing that pleases God. Flesh opposes God and by doing these HBR things it pleases your flesh by saying look what I do and Not what God did.

Good nite.

Yet another tidal wave in a tea cup.

Lie number 1 - "These shallow easy believe-ism, Christians are never going to honor God..."
More snobbery/elitism. They will never honor God? As if pretending to be a Jew honors God.

Lie number 2 - ..with their anit-lawism.
Christians are under the law of Christ. I have mentioned many times and yet the snobbery/elitism shines through as looking down on other Christians continues.

Lie number 3 - "they just promote license to sin."
More snobbery/elitism. Paul specifically dealt with this in Romans 5:20, 2 Cor 9:8, Romans 6:1 and yet it is tossed about like aping pong ball among the elitist HRM.

Lie number 4 - "faith only garbage"
Faith only is garbage? Funny how Jesus was so moved by faith. True faith needs works but not adherence to a defunct code.

Lie number - 5 - Christianity is sick to the core

More snobbery/elitism. Jesus said the gates of Hell shall not prevail against the church.

Danschance, how is the Law of Messiah and the Law of Yahweh any different?

One Messiah said He ONLY does the will of His Father...

and

Mattithyah 19-17-21, "But He said to him: Why do you question Me about righteousness? There is only One Who is the standard of perfection, and that is Yahweh; so if you would enter into life, keep the Laws of Yahweh. He then asked Yahshua; Which ones? Yahshua said to him: If you want to come to the perfection of Yahweh, go and sell of what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and you will be walking in Yahweh's ways, and following Me."

Call them Commandments or Law a few are listed, they are from the 10.

Revelation 12:17, "And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went to make war with those who forsook her seed; her seed being those who keep the Laws of Yahweh, and have the testimony of Yahshua Messiah."

"Laws" is word #1785 entolé

why?

Because jesus was not worried about ceremony, and tradition.

he did not worry about not doing this or not

He was worried about winning the lost to his father, about serving others, About teaching people the real God. and his perfect love and forgiveness. And saving people from their sin. Not the twisted view of God the jews made him out to be by their adherance to the law.

Surely you are not promoting to not work at the law?
Yes, actually, that is exactly what I am promoting. For Christians who have come to Christ. For un-believers, no, they must continue to work hard at the law.

or not reading and learning about God?
No of course not. We will never stop learning about God.

When you go to the Lord in prayer, or you give love and caring, or anything in response to the Lord in your life, is it in your own strength? Would you like it if someone acted toward you as you act toward others for doing all you can to know and understand your Lord, saying it was denying Him, and only doing it in your own strength?
These are two separate questions. The answer to the first one is, its not just a simple yes or no answer.

The answer to the second question is much more fascinating. People who work at the law actually have no understanding of the Lord and what He does. They are trying to emulate something by their will and flesh that can't be emulated by their will and flesh. Its impossible.

The law is a description of the work of the Holy Spirit. Be perfect like the Holy Spirit is perfect. How? Not by your works. You are carnal and imperfect. (sorry, not judging...) Only by allowing the work of the Holy Spirit in you can you approach good works that the Lord has planned for you. But if you are busy working at the law then you are not abiding and having faith that the Holy Spirit is working in you. And hence...

Galatians 3:10-11
[SUP]10 [/SUP]For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

The Pharisees did not keep the law, they defiled it. Which is why Jesus got angry with them calling them hypocrites because they themselves did not keep it, but defiled it. That is why Jesus told the crowd to do what they say ( taught the law ), but do not do as they do ( defile it ).

1. No one keeps the law. it is impossible.
2. He called them hypocrites because they claimed to keep the law. But in reality did not (of this you are correct) (and notice all the LAWyers in this chat room who do the same????)

it is a historical as well as biblical well known fact that no one kep the mosaic law better than the pharisees. If the law could save anyone, the pharisees would be considered the closest people to be able to save themselves.

I agree there are prophecies that are going to have future fulfillment.

But since Messiah Himself said:

Mattithyah 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Heaven and earth and all things would have to be perfected for anything to pass from the Law?

And there a a number of other verses where Messiah says to follow the Law of Yahweh and not a single one where He says not to.

This is supported by Shaul:

Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"

It was even prophesied that evil forces would think to change the Law.

Daniyl 7:25, "And he will speak great words against Yahweh, and will wear out the saints of Yahweh, and think to change times and Laws..."

In the final chapter of the final revelation to mankind Yahshua promotes the keeping of the Law:

Revelation 22:12-15, "And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be. I am the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who keep His Laws, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and worshipers of gods and everyone who professes to love, yet practices falsehood."

Revelation 12:17, "And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went to make war with those who forsook her seed; her seed being those who keep the Laws of Yahweh, and have the testimony of Yahshua Messiah."

First of all..
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
(Mat 5:18)

Let's stick with law because that is what is mentioned in the verse. The Mosaic law was still in effect right up to Messiah's death. That was when the Mosaic law was fulfilled, as promised in v.17...

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
(Mat 5:17)

Regarding the word 'fulfill' which you translate 'perfected';

γίνομαι
ginomai
Thayer Definition:
1) to become, i.e. to come into existence, begin to be, receive being
2) to become, i.e. to come to pass, happen
2a) of events
3) to arise, appear in history, come upon the stage
3a) of men appearing in public
4) to be made, finished
4a) of miracles, to be performed, wrought
5) to become, be made
Part of Speech: verb
A Related Word by Thayer’s/Strong’s Number: a prolongation and middle voice form of a primary verb
Citing in TDNT: 1:681, 117

...not sure where you get 'perfected'?

The passage is simply saying heaven and earth won't pass away before the Mosaic law is fulfilled and that which the prophets spoke about His work of redemption...which Christ did and proclaimed from the Cross, "Tetelestai! (It is finished!).

Now you keep speaking of Yahweh's law which is broader than the topic I started with which was the Mosaic Law. I am sticking with the Mosaic Law and contend that as believers we are not under it otherwise we are bound to all 613. Do you agree?

Galatians 3:10-11
[SUP]10 [/SUP]For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
Lets look at the greek here...

[SUP]10 [/SUP]For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

of is translated from:

ek or ex: from, from out of
Original Word: ἐκ, ἐξ
Part of Speech: Preposition
Transliteration: ek or ex
Phonetic Spelling: (ek)
Short Definition: from out, out from among, from
Definition: from out, out from among, from, suggesting from the interior outwards.

we can clearly see that most translations get this wrong.

[SUP]10 [/SUP]For as many as are out from among the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Attack me all you want, I ask someone to consult the greek and break this down.

If strongs is wrong show me.

Replaced in the sense that the Levitical priesthood was 'replaced' by a better and eternal Priest...Jesus Christ our High Priest.

Hebrews 7:12, 15-16, 18-19 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
Bid bad buddy...I said carnal for spiritual. What, is the scripture new to you...i ve read it several times

Blessed are those who keep His Laws, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and worshipers of gods and everyone who professes to love, yet practices falsehood."
