Hello all. I am interested in your opinions about this. I am not trying to criticize anyone particular but I do want to discuss something said to me earlier.
I suggested we were "mere infants in this universe". I was asked how I came up with that. I replied, "it's my own logic".
I was later told that I am not to use my own logic when referencing God and the Bible.

This seems a bit skeptical to me. If we didn't use our own logic to determine the revelations God directs us towards, we would still be stuck with many laws and tribulations our society now would be morally disgusted by.

Thoughts?

Logically, it does not make sense.

Let us suggest a car was created perfect...perfect for one specific purpose.
Is it the fault of the designer if a flaw introduces itself in the mechanism through either:
1. improper operation outside of it's intended design ?
2. or also by improper maintenance ?

Or rather is it the "operators fault" for poor operation and maintenance on the perfect mechanism.
We are the operator of our vessel...(fleshly bodies) God gave us this authority and domain as well as guidelines, rules and principles and laws to abide by within our own intended use.

We are the operator of this vessel, God is the creator if this vessel.

Who's fault is it for improper operation.
Stop drinking water...you dehydrate and die
Is this somehow a perceived inherent flaw introduced by the creator because if this requirement?
Or is it the fault of the operator for not adhering to required maintenance
and simply drink water when needed.
IE: don't put oil in your engine it dies
taking this principle a step further to say you don't take an F-1 ferrari and use it as a stadium truck.
One may say "hey the creator created this Ferrari imperfect...it broke when I tried to Jump it. psh. The creator must be imperfect because it's perfect creation didn't last forever and hold up to what IIIIIIII wanted to use it for"
And the creator says..."yeah, I told you there was a narrow path to stay on, did you listen?"

Are we made to do drugs, drink in excess, use our bodies for destructive purposes, to dabble in sin and see how much of it we can get away with without detrimental consequence?
No.

Where does any flaw lay?
Could any flaw more plausibly be introduced by a result of misinformed operators using the vessel outside intended purposes?

You forget to mention that God is the road on which this vehicle drives and that the road has no detours only obstacles and tunnels which he provides. You also forget to mention God is the oil , and the body, the engine, the gas, and all the other necessary functions for the vehicle to operate. We can't even determine if were drivers or passengers.

Just because I may neglect the vehicle, does not mean that it wasn't God's intention. Even if it wasn't His intention, he may use my misdoing for the good of His will for someone/something else and he knew before I started neglecting the vehicle that I was going to neglect the vehicle.

Is there nothing to learn from the things in the rest of your post? I'll bet you can think of a few and that would probably be the point.

This is wrong on so many levels

My sin was part of Gods plan (I assume),
Never assume...you gotta know for sure...and I sure hope all the apostles weren't assuming when they were listening to and hearing Gods words.
GODS WORDS ---dig in :)

if his plan is perfect (which it must be if He is perfect), my sin is perfect according to his plan.
If my mental prowess is blasphemy, it is Gods fault for creating me with that flaw, which can't be true if God can not create flaws.
In my opinion, I was saved upon creation of Gods plan, because His plan is perfect as is He. If I were not perfect he could not be perfect, or at least his plan couldn't be perfect.

---Perhaps you have more seeking Gods word to do :)

Does God send one to hell or does a person send themself after being guided but ignores the directions.

If one sends themself who is the driver?

The part you made bold is debated by many Christians. It would be the debate on whether freewill exists or not.

The creator of Hell would ultimately determine who goes and why they go IMO. To me Hell doesn't exist though, it would be irrational to send deaf and mute infants to hell.

Please explain why?

Because its a Buddist view...God is in everything etc. It's is unbiblical....God is outside His creation. He made the box, we live in the box. He came in the box He made, in the person of Christ for the redemption of sin....then He went to prepare a place for His church. He sent his Holy spirit to live in His children.

Mr Pozessed person. You claim to be seeking truth and have even stepped into faith in Christ.....have you? Just curious.

You're pretty much saying it's not true simply because you don't want to believe in anything other than your own faith and refuse to use reason. It would be like a child putting his fingers in his ears and screaming because that child doesn't want to hear 1+1=2.

I'm not telling you to do anything or believe anything you don't want to. But I am telling you my perspective of your post.

My perspective is a biblical one. I believe the Bible to be the inerrant word of God so therefore it is the right one.

I feel he knows his sins and wants to be freed from them, but thinks he can't

Yes, I used to attend a Lutheran school, as well as my legal guardians were Christians to some extent. Went to church every Wednesday and Sunday, sometimes Thursdays. I will admit I wasn't mature at the time so it does not hold much weight, but it did last up into my late teens.

So are you staking the high ground of being the one here with reason?

The universe and the time it took to create it and the thought needed to be so intricate had no cost...
It did have a cost
Because God created it perfect...and we corrupted it

And this grieved Gods heart.

How old are you now?

Where did I say I am more reasonable than you?

"You're pretty much saying it's not true simply because you don't want to believe in anything other than your own faith and refuse to use reason." Pozessed

That doesn't imply I am more reasonable than you. I have moments I can be unreasonable as well. This is a moment you are being unreasonable.

Let me ask you this, how can we learn about good if bad doesn't exist?
