I hear about it all of the time, and yet there seems to be a lot of subtle and even overt flirting going on. Good healthy fun!

If people knew that there wouldn't be a new 'i'm single and looking' post a few times a week. You, in particular, have made two threads on the subject in the three days you've been on the site. So... if you know, then why are you treating it like one? And since you are treating it like one, why are you getting an attitude for being told?

tourist... There is a difference between coming to this site with the intent to actively seek out a mate, and to advertise yourself in a singles post and stumbling across someone you end up having a connection with.

The entire point is that the site owner knows that romances Can happen, he just doesn't want to the site used by singles actively prowling around advertising and using the site for the purpose of finding a mate. Not everyone who comes to this site, that's single, or even hangs in the singles areas, is looking for a mate. So they don't want people being run off the site by people who don't recognize this and treat every single they come across as potential and hitting on them.

Among the favorable vectors about ChristianChat.com is that frequently friendships are formed, and some of those friendships mature into holy marriage.

Therefore, be well informed this is not a dating site; it's just a happy hangout for Christians to enjoy each other's company.

Having said that, I love you, Captain AKRick.
:p :D :D

Do you know why it's called an altar? Because that is where the Groom sacrifices his freedom (don't tell AzureAfire I said that!!!).

Yes, of course; it's where the Bride alters her life from beautiful curves to pregnant, extra laundry and cleaning the kitchen all in the name of loving her sweet husband! :p
