but according to the Bible its a sin to judge Im not saying what they do is cool but its their own business also let it be known that its a sin to shave your beard just saying. Also, doesnt the Bible say not one sin is bigger than the next or the other
There seems to be a LOT of confusion and misconceptions surrounding judging. There are 2 points that are usually omitted by the "you can't judge anybody on what they do" crowd.
The 1st I'll explain using an example: If 2 men are walking down the street holding hands, and I say something like, "Those men are homosexual sinners" I have just sinned by judging them without knowing whether they are or are not homosexuals, BUT if they TELL me they are homosexuals with no intention in repenting or even acknowledging that homosexual sex is a sin, THEN THEY HAVE JUDGED THEMSELVES, and I am not wrong, or hateful, telling them that it is sinful and they need to repent.

The 2nd, people seem to always get wrong. It usually starts with the account of the adulterous woman who was going to be KILLED, by stoning, for her sin. Jesus famously, and rightfully, says "He who is without sin cast the 1st stone" PEOPLE LOVE AND LATCH ONTO THAT WHILE NEVER RECITING WHAT JESUS TOLD THE SINFUL ADULTEROUS WOMAN, WHICH IS "GO AND SIN no more"
More importantly in regards to judgement, this account dealt with the judging PUNISHMENT the people wanted to inflict on her NOT THAT THEY COULDN'T tell her that the sin she was doing was wrong.

Finally, there is definitely gradations of sin as Jesus Himself said: John19:11Jesus answered , Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

This is for those Christians who naively think there isn't indoctrination to accept homosexual behavior as normal going on with our kids:

Silly post demands a silly answer. Yes, I'm sure children are "indoctrinated" into believing 2+2=4!!` Yet there is likely those few who have the courage to believe 2+2+5!

Funny you should mention that...

Yes, but you realize that is WINSTON, the good guys, position.

Funny that you elect to assume the role of Big Brother, O'brien.

This is incredibly disturbing.

This is why it is so vitally important to at least show Christians that Satan is after your children, and his children will do anything to get them. How is it even conceivable that we find ourselves at this point where we have so many Christians, let alone society at large, constantly apologizing, and castigating their Christian brothers and sisters who call out this sin, for the ever encroaching wickedness, and evil, calling good evil and evil good.

[h=4]No One Is More Close-Minded And Intolerant Than A Liberal[/h]ST. LOUIS (CBS St. Louis) — The complexion of the National Football League changed last Saturday after Michael Sam became the first openly gay player to be drafted. People worldwide saw the video of Sam getting emotional on the phone talking to St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher after getting picked, then embracing and kissing his boyfriend, Vito Cammisano.
“In the end, I am glad our team made the decision we did,” he told The Monday Morning Quarterback regarding showing the kiss on air. “It was a really cool moment to be involved in.”

Sam getting drafted and the kiss were mainly met with positive results, though there were some detractors. Both the Miami Dolphins’ Don Jones and former Mississippi basketball player Marshall Henderson took to Twitter to denounce Sam kissing his boyfriend during the NFL Draft broadcast.
ESPN producer Seth Markman, who oversaw the network’s draft coverage, called it an emotional and historic moment.
“In the end, I am glad our team made the decision we did,” he told The Monday Morning Quarterback regarding showing the kiss on air. “It was a really cool moment to be involved in.”
With the league and the media seemingly embracing Sam, attention has turned to a player that’s not currently playing – Tim Tebow – and raising questions if there is a double standard on how the two were received and treated.
Tebow, who last appeared for the New England Patriots during training camp in 2013, sat out the season after no other team decided to sign him. Despite his previous success
, Tebow has been slammed for his play and mocked by some for his Christian beliefs in some media outlets.

Peter Roff, a contributing editor at U.S. News & World Report, wrote in April 2013 that Tebow was treated like a “circus freak” by the New York media after he was traded by the Denver Broncos to the New York Jets.
“Tebow, you see, is a Christian – and is fairly open about. He seems to take the Biblical admonition not to hide one’s faith under a bushel rather literally,” Roff wrote. “He’s used eye black to put scriptural citations on his face on game days. He prays in public and talks about God in an utterly respectful, even loving way. He and his mother appeared in a Superbowl Sunday television ad that talked about the virtues of life and directed people to a website where they could learn more about abortion.
“The secular crowd, New York sports writers included, have never forgiven him for any of that,” Roff continued. “When he arrived at the Meadowlands he was treated more like a circus freak than the guy who helped Denver make the playoffs the previous year and might just be the thing to get the Jets offense in line.”
The New York Times reported in 2011 about the constant criticism Tebow received.
“One columnist in Denver called Tebow the worst quarterback in football,” reported the Times. “Another columnist in Canada labeled Tebow the ‘Kim Kardashian of sports,’ for the intense reaction he elicited. Online, the torrent of mockery and criticism has been fierce. Blog posts included ‘God explains why he let Tim Tebow fail’ and Twitter exploded in hateful vitriol, to which the Sports Illustrated writer Joe Posnanski mused: ‘I believe Tim Tebow isn’t an N.F.L. starter and I want him to prove me wrong because I believe he’s a great guy. Is that allowed?’”
The Christian Coalition of America told CBS St. Louis that there is a double standard of how Tebow’s religious beliefs were mocked compared to how Sam was received.
“I think that there was so much pressure on (Tebow) and that anytime you zero in on someone they can be open to mistakes,” said Michele Combs, spokeswoman for the Christian Coalition. “I do think that the pressure gets to you. I think that a lot of people wanted to see him fail unfortunately.”
Combs stated that there was a bias toward Christianity.
“I just think it’s amazing when someone talks about his religion, especially being a Christian, they are not embraced by the media or the Hollywood elite,” Combs said, adding that Americans do want to see Tebow get treated fairly.
“I think it’s just a certain elite group that has a lot of power and gets a lot of media’s attention,” she said. “I think a majority of Americans would like to see someone like Tim Tebow get the same equal treatment (as Sam).”
Wade Davis, executive director of You Can Play, doesn’t believe that there is a double standard between the reactions of Sam and Tebow.
“I don’t think either one was treated differently,” Davis, the former NFL player who came out as gay in 2012, told CBS St. Louis. “Unfortunately we live in a society where there is no middle ground, you either support or hate someone.”
Davis stated that fans don’t understand the business side to football as to why a player like Tebow is not in the league currently. “If you sit back and understand the game of football, you will understand why he will be cut,” Davis explained.
Davis also said that he isn’t worried about how his teammates will embrace Sam in the locker room.
“Athletes spend enormous amounts of time with one another,” Davis told CBS St. Louis. “Unlike your normal 9-5 job, athletes move through periods of discomfort much quicker because of the time they spend together.”
During an introductory press conference for the Rams draft picks, Sam said that his sexuality was never a secret. “Apparently, everybody else makes a big deal out of it,” Sam said. “But my teammates and my school didn’t.”
Sam also said that his focus right now is on football. “I will always support equality, period,” he said. “But my job is to focus on football and help this team win a championship.” source - CBS St. Louis

I really dont give a rip what people say, GAYS DESERVE RIGHTS TOO just like POT SMOKERS now I am neither but I support both
Gays have all the rights anyone else have. They want special considerations for activities that harms society.

1 Cor 13: 4-7 clearly states that love does not delight in sin. There is no love in homosexual unions... biblically none.

Don't talk about what you don't know or haven't lived, SonInMe.
How do you know what I have lived?

Lets see...making sweeping judgements based on a preconceived ideals....what is that?

I think the way somebody is treating them is the real big sin. I know some folks tends to say theyre only condamning the sin, not the sinner, but I dont think they consider what effect they have on gay folks. Whenever a human is being so downright mean to another human that he or her is pushed to the edge, theres no bigger sin than that. Yall can argue that God loves the sinner, not the sin, but do yall believe He loves the sin of hatred? That is the real kingdom of the devil. We should all be ashamed of ourselves when we are rejecting them. They are amongst the little ones Christ is talking about. Treat them as such.
I would say discussing current events in a christian chatroom is not talking to a homosexual about Jesus Christ....not the same at all. I doubt anyone here is suggesting we beat someone over the head with their sins.

1 Cor 5:12 says we judge inside the church, not outside...its God's job to judge the world...

but its not love to have a very public promotion of a sin go unchallenged, publically. As a christian, we must have an answer and that answer must be this, homosexuality is a sin, its not unchangeable, and to be quiet is to let people be ignorant of the truth. That truth is...

homosexuality hurts those who practice it. Its a sexual perversion and a societal destructor. The bible is very clear on this and in no way can a christian support the homosexual agenda.

By the way to call this agenda about civil rights is to spit upon all those who have fought for real civil rights and died for it.

so are you saying homosexuals have no right to work as an nfl player if so, thats a bigoted statement and pretty hypocritical
This is nothing about Sam playing in the NFL. Its being promoted as a gay man playing in the NFL and it has a HUGE agenda behind it. If this was about his ability, he would have been drafted and touted much higher.

He is a situational player, at best and its highly unlikely he will play, if he does make the team.

By the way he is NOT the first homosexual nfl player. He's just the first to be promoted as such.

I mean, I am sure he gets this kind of garbage shoved down his throat on a daily basis thats my point. I am very close to my gay and lesbian cousins regardless of their sexuality I see their heart and its a darn good one
Show me chapter and verse where it says anyone has a good heart. Just a fyi, its not in the bible.

Hmm...He can play if he's good enough. I don't care if he's gay or not. Sports are about ability and excellence in athletics. However, if Christians want to give their opinion on homosexuality that is their right. Just don't start with all the bigoted nonsense of gays aren't good at sports and all that.

I've said my opinion on homosexuality and on the eligibility of football players.
Its an issue not because Sam wants to play in the nfl but because he is being promoted as a gay wanting to play in the nfl. This is NOT about playing ability. Its about, in the gay agenda mindset, a Rosa Parks moment.

That is insanity, perversion and horrible.

Ok lets take the military for example the Bible is clear on murder, thou shall not murder correct? I thought so, Therefore we should not be in war. Anyways back to what you are saying, If I were to die, God would only judge my heart its called heart sight.
If war was murder than God is a sinner. Killing is not murder or every cop and every soldier is a murderer...and to take that stand is lunacy.

But heres the thing you are judging my statement and those statements are definitely bigoted just like back in the 50s and 60s "blacks shouldnt play sports" theres no real difference. Also, technically Christianity is a created term too
Do not equate the gay agenda with civil rights. That's intellectually and morally dishonest. Gays choose their perversion. Blacks do not choose their skin color. Its very simple logic and to not see the difference can only be ideological blindness.

Let me tell ya sumpitn else sir. Its not love to condone sin. If you have homosexual friends you need to talk to them about the truth. If you excuse your christian responsibilities for your liberal ideologies? There is a biblical principle that comes into play.

If you deny Christ before men, Christ will deny you before the Father.
