s fulfilled but this part aint.

Because I am not Jewish and don't need the temple. Jesus is the sacrifice that took the place of the lamb therefore no lamb is needed to be sacrificed on a alter.
Heb 7:23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: Heb 7:24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
Heb 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Heb 7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
Heb 7:27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.

So you you have become so self righteous that you have no need of the cross?

Please be careful of word choices. Jesus Christ, Yeshua, is King of the Jews. I am not born a Jew, however having been reborn, I recognize my King. He is the Good Shepherd Who brought me, and all the people of the nations together with His original Flock, making us one.

The Sabbath of the Lord, given long before the Laws were given to Moses, is a day chosen by our Father to spend with Him. As far as two or three praying together or coming together to worship, this may be any day of the week, including His Sabbath.

Do not disparage your own family by calling those who chose to obey the commandments idolaters. This does not stem from love., not even from knowledge of the Word.

Sabbath or not, where two or three are gathered together in my name there shall I be also.

The Sabbath was given to Moses girl. And not to Abraham nor Issac nor Jacob. Trey did not keep a Sabbath our they condemned to hell for not doing so?

Heb 8:13 Decayeth. Or, “is growing old.” The question may be raised as to why this word is in the present tense if the old covenant passed away at the cross.

Because there was a transition phase. The Law was made obsolete at the cross, but a period of time was given for acceptance of the New Law. I mean the Apostles didn't even get it up to and even beyond the cross. So, God, being fair and just as He is, gave a period of time to teach the world and for them to accept the New. Then the temple and the Levite lineage was destroyed as the final sign that the Old Law had been made obsolete.

Yes, we should study the Old Testament because it is from God as well and because (John 5:39 You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me;) they lead us to Jesus.

You should first reread the Book, Genesis. Second, look at the color code of my name.

(Ladies, I am not offended, we are all the same in the Eyes of our Maker.)

You are stressing a wonderful point, that being we are the Temple of Yahweh. That Temple is our bodies making up the Body of Yeshua, Jesus, as the Head. Now if you would just understand the difference between the commandments and the laws on morality as opposed to the ceremonial laws of the physical Temple, it would be good for you. Jesus, Yeshua, did not render any of the laws as obsolete, especially the commandments. We are dying on the outside, physically and to immorality, while we grow in the inner man. That inner man is the one to be resurrected come Yeshua's return. Yes, the outer man fades, but is not gone until He finishes the Work He began in us. This is expounded upon throughout the Word.

On the contrary brother I am saying that Jesus is the only sacrifice and I don't need a lamb to kill on a alter.

I do appreciate any and all comments that are made with a friendly tone. Sorry, I just had to start with that because the "gentle" seem to be a dying breed.

Genesis 17:10 This is My covenant, which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: every male among you shall be circumcised.

Galatians 5:2
Behold I, Paul, say to you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will be of no benefit to you.

Leviticus 20:27 ‘Now a man or a woman who is a medium or a spiritist shall surely be put to death. They shall be stoned with stones, their bloodguiltiness is upon them.’”

Acts 16:16-18
[SUP]16 [/SUP]It happened that as we were going to the place of prayer, a slave-girl having a spirit of divination met us, who was bringing her masters much profit by fortune-telling. [SUP]17 [/SUP]Following after Paul and us, she kept crying out, saying, “These men are bond-servants of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation.”
[SUP]18 [/SUP]She continued doing this for many days. But Paul was greatly annoyed, and turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” And it came out at that very moment.

Leviticus 15:19 ‘When a woman has a discharge, if her discharge in her body is blood, she shall continue in her menstrual impurity for seven days; and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening.

Luke 8:43-48
[SUP]43 [/SUP]And a woman who had a hemorrhage for twelve years, and could not be healed by anyone, [SUP]44 [/SUP]came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak, and immediately her hemorrhage stopped. [SUP]45 [/SUP]And Jesus said, “Who is the one who touched Me?” And while they were all denying it, Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pressing in on You.” [SUP]46 [/SUP]But Jesus said, “Someone did touch Me, for I was aware that power had gone out of Me.” [SUP]47 [/SUP]When the woman saw that she had not escaped notice, she came trembling and fell down before Him, and declared in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched Him, and how she had been immediately healed. [SUP]48 [/SUP]And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.”
The bible does not record Jesus saying anything about the whole crowd being unclean. This would have been a huge problem according to the Law. If you touched something that was unclean, then you were unclean. The whole crowd would have been unclean - “Master, the people are crowding and pressing in on You.”

Leviticus 15:13-33
[SUP]13 [/SUP]‘Now when the man with the discharge becomes cleansed from his discharge, then he shall count off for himself seven days for his cleansing; he shall then wash his clothes and bathe his body in running water and will become clean. [SUP]14 [/SUP]Then on the eighth day he shall take for himself two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and come before the Lord to the doorway of the tent of meeting and give them to the priest; [SUP]15 [/SUP]and the priest shall offer them, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. So the priest shall make atonement on his behalf before the Lord because of his discharge.[SUP]16 [/SUP]‘Now if a man has a seminal emission, he shall bathe all his body in water and be unclean until evening. [SUP]17 [/SUP]As for any garment or any leather on which there is seminal emission, it shall be washed with water and be unclean until evening. [SUP]18 [/SUP]If a man lies with a woman so that there is a seminal emission, they shall both bathe in water and be unclean until evening.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]‘When a woman has a discharge, if her discharge in her body is blood, she shall continue in her menstrual impurity for seven days; and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening. [SUP]20 [/SUP]Everything also on which she lies during her menstrual impurity shall be unclean, and everything on which she sits shall be unclean. [SUP]21 [/SUP]Anyone who touches her bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening. [SUP]22 [/SUP]Whoever touches any thing on which she sits shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening. [SUP]23 [/SUP]Whether it be on the bed or on the thing on which she is sitting, when he touches it, he shall be unclean until evening. [SUP]24 [/SUP]If a man actually lies with her so that her menstrual impurity is on him, he shall be unclean seven days, and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean.
[SUP]25 [/SUP]‘Now if a woman has a discharge of her blood many days, not at the period of her menstrual impurity, or if she has a discharge beyond that period, all the days of her impure discharge she shall continue as though in her menstrual impurity; she is unclean. [SUP]26 [/SUP]Any bed on which she lies all the days of her discharge shall be to her like her bed at menstruation; and every thing on which she sits shall be unclean, like her uncleanness at that time. [SUP]27 [/SUP]Likewise, whoever touches them shall be unclean and shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening. [SUP]28 [/SUP]When she becomes clean from her discharge, she shall count off for herself seven days; and afterward she will be clean. [SUP]29 [/SUP]Then on the eighth day she shall take for herself two turtledoves or two young pigeons and bring them in to the priest, to the doorway of the tent of meeting. [SUP]30 [/SUP]The priest shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. So the priest shall make atonement on her behalf before the Lord because of her impure discharge.’
[SUP]31 [/SUP]“Thus you shall keep the sons of Israel separated from their uncleanness, so that they will not die in their uncleanness by their defiling My tabernacle that is among them.” [SUP]32 [/SUP]This is the law for the one with a discharge, and for the man who has a seminal emission so that he is unclean by it,
[SUP]33 [/SUP]and for the woman who is ill because of menstrual impurity, and for the one who has a discharge, whether a male or a female, or a man who lies with an unclean woman.

We would be in a constant state of unclean - The whole world is full of perverts and the sick (mentally and physically). Jesus fulfilled the Law. And we do many of the things that are covered by the Law. But if we are led by the Spirit, then we are not under the Law.

Galatians 4:21
Tell me, you who want to be under law, do you not listen to the law?

Paul is saying here, as well as other places, that the Law is impossible to keep. Yes, there are good things that are in the Law that we show thru our actions. But we are not under the Law. But we establish the Law in the non-believer, because they see good works that we do through the Spirit / Or that we allow the Spirit to do through us. The Law leads us to Jesus Christ, who freely gives us the Spirit, who will guide us if we allow Him. And through the Spirit we do the will of God even though we are not under the Law (again, if led by the Spirit).

It sounds like a long way to get back to where we should have been to begin with, but it is a better place.

Heb 8:13 Decayeth. Or, “is growing old.” The question may be raised as to
why this word is in the present tense if the old covenant passed away at the cross.
Are you saying the people of God are under two covenants, the old and the new
(Lk 22:20; 2Co 3:6; Heb 8:6, 9:15), so that we are still under the curse
(Dt 27:26; Gal 3:10) of the old Mosaic covenant?

The Mosaic covenant was based on the Mosaic law (Jer 11:2-5; Dt 27:26).
The Mosaic law was based on the Levitical priesthood (Heb 7:11).
The Levitical priesthood was changed (Heb 7:12).

There is no longer any Levitical priesthood,
therefore, no basis for the Mosaic law,
therefore no basis for the Mosaic covenant (Jer 11:2-5, 10).

At 2,000 years, the Mosiac covenant is obsolete (Heb 8:13),
unless you want to place the people of God under two covenants,
one with a curse for imperfect obedience, and the other of pure grace.

Are you kidding me right now? You actually started this thread just to make Sabbath keepers wrong? How about that plank, friend?

You sound ignorant of the word, and the true meaning of the Bible just by creating this thread. You will be held in judgement for openly and vocally rejecting the words out of the mouth of the god you proclaim is yours. I hope that I am called to testify at your trial so that I can witness that you did, indeed, publicly attack those who obey the word and declare in writing that the words out of your god's mouth are meaningless and that your god says things that are not true. Do you realize you're calling him a liar?

Please educate yourself. Not keeping the Sabbath does not make you holy. It makes you sinful. What is sin? Disobedience. Disobedience to what? The spirit? Your inner emotions that wax and wain and "speak to you." Sin is disobedience to the ten commandments, which you have declared null and void. Congratulations. You've succeeded in calling the creator of the universe, and his son, liars. Good luck with that on judgement day.

Romans 14:17-23
[SUP]17 [/SUP]For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

If you think you are still under the law then no one can convince you otherwise, not even the bible.

Galatians 3:10-12
[SUP]10 [/SUP]For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

It is good to worship on the Sabbath; It is good to worship on Sunday; It is best to worship daily.

Worship on Saturday, and you show glory to God. But understand that we are not under that Law of Moses.

Worship on Sunday, and you show glory to God. But understand that the NT did not designate "the first day of the week" as the day of worship.

Whichever day that you gather to worship, pray that you are giving glory to God.

I used to believe that the bible changed the day that we worship and refocus out attention to God (as a group) to the first day of the week. But there is only two verses after the gospels that even mention the first day of the week - And neither one of them is a command (I mean to gather on Sunday - The second one does tell that church to lay aside money on the first day of the week).

The first century church met daily. It would probably be best if we followed this example.

The congregation that I attend does not gather daily, and I am not trying to suggest that we do. But that doesn't mean that it is not a good idea (or maybe even expected):)

Before I say anything I'm not a Jew or Seventh Day Adventist. I'm a Christian, interdenominational to have some exactness. I really don't understand why this is such an issue. God gave the Sabbath as a gift to mankind. Yes a gift for you and me, and everyone else.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

God spoke and wrote the 10 Commandments, nothing more was added. The Law of Moses, Moses attacked as mediator between God and the people, also blood had to be sprinkled on the Law and people(Jesus is now mediator and we are covered by His blood, see the foreshadow).

God set the 7th day aside and declared it holy. God himself rested on this day. It's the only commandment that says REMEMBER, as in you had forgot so remember this day. God immediately enacts the Sabbath the moment the Israelites are brought out of Egypt and we'll keep it in the new heaven and earth. The 7th day Sabbath always was and will always be.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What needs to be understood is that God is the same and He's always had a standard of sin. We see this with Adam and Eve being told not to eat of the tree of good and evil. Without this command would eating the tree had been a sin to Adam and Eve? Same goes with the 10, yes I did say 10 commandments. The Bible defines sin as such in 1Jn 3:4, "Everyone who sins is breaking God’s law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God." In other words the clearest definition of sin is lawlessness, in order to have sin their has to be a law. Or sin doesn't exist. The 10 Commandments are our standard of sin for us and we are held to an even higher standard of it because God has enable us to keep them with them being in our hearts (Jer 31:33) Also Jesus tells us that more than doing is sin, but the mere thought is sin (Mt 5:21-30). Because all sin starts in the heart(Mt 15:19).

VERSES TO THINK ABOUT

"Well then, if we emphasize faith, does this mean that we can forget about the law? Of course not! In fact, only when we have faith do WE truly FULFILL THE LAW." (Rom 3:31)

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I HAVE NOT COME TO ABOLISH THEM but to fulfill them." (Mt 5:17)

"For it makes no difference whether or not a man has been circumcised. THE IMPORTANT THING IS TO KEEP GOD'S COMMANDMENTS." (1Cor 7:19)

[SUP] "[/SUP]For as the NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH which I make shall remain before Me, says the Lord, so shall your offspring and your name remain.[SUP] [/SUP]And it will be that from one New Moon to another New Moon and FROM ONE SABBATH TO ANOTHER SABBATH, ALL FLESH SHALL COME TO WORSHIP BEFORE ME, says the Lord." (Isa 66:22-23)

[SUP] "[/SUP]So whatever you say or whatever you do, remember that YOU WILL BE JUDGE BY THE LAW that sets you free." (Ja 2:10-12)

"So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven." (Mt 5:19)

"And we can be sure that we know him IF we obey his commandments. If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth.
But THOSE WHO OBEY GOD'S LAWS SHOW HOW COMPLETELY THEY LOVE HIM. That is how we know we are living in him."( 1Jn 2:3-5)

"For THIS IS THE LOVE OF GOD, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments ARE NOT burdensome."(1 John 5:3)

"But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one dot of the Law to become void."(Luke 16:17)

"Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, HE IS WHO LOVES ME. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” (Jn 14:21)

"If you keep my commandments, YOU WILL ABIDE IN MY LOVE, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love." (Jn 15:10)

"And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you WORKERS OF LAWLESSNES." (Mt 7:23)

"So the dragon was furious with the woman and left to wage war[SUP] [/SUP]against the rest of her offspring[SUP] [/SUP]— these are those WHO KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD and have the testimony about Jesus." (Rev 12:17)

Want to delight yourself in the Lord? This is how:

"If because of the Sabbath, you turn your foot From doing your own pleasure on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a delight, the holy day of the LORD honorable, And honor it, desisting from your own ways, From seeking your own pleasure And speaking your own word, THEN YOU WILL DELIGHT YOURSELF IN THE LORD..."(Isa 58:13)

ETC.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Moses law was done away, God's law still stands. If not their would be tons of scripture contradictions. More so the Sabbath will always stand. This is the truth and is proven all through the Bible. I could explain this more and answer everything you said individually, have all the evidence but like everything in God's Word you have to except it by faith. The Sabbath not a Sabbath was given because God knew we needed a break in our busy weeks, a day to set aside from all things and focus on God. Hebrew Sabbath is Shabbat translating literally to sign of the eternal Father.

I'm not asking or convincing you to become a Jew or an Adventist, just to love God and know Him, obey Him. This commandment is all about sanctification and relationship with our wonderful Lord. I know keeping the Sabbath though hard and am criticized for it, has been such a blessing for me as God said it would. I have learned and grown so much. I can see why the psalmist praised God for his commandments, I have even more reason because of Jesus to praise.

Blessings.

Great!

Not so sure about laymen though.

Well you know what they say: “If you convince someone against their own will, they are of the same opinion still”.

You can say that about me if you want. But it seems I feel that way about those who don't believe the Sabbath.

Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Non-responsive to the question. . .
