It is also so cliche on those other sites. I know it did not say dating site on this however, the word singles come to mind for many singles people that they are actually looking for someone special. I recalled many churches had singles ministry during the 90's however, they do not anymore because the desperate ones came to those events or fellowships where the singles ministries are. But churches today are literally ignoring singles because they focus too much on families therefore leaving out singles. Like churches do not do anything for the Deaf. That is why I do not like the way churches are today. Disgusted! I am Deaf and I know what it is like being one as well as singlehood. I was single since graduating from high school till age 41 when I got married and now divorced.. so I have experienced 3 kinds: single, married, and divorced.
If the Christian single men on here do not say a word, how can they find a wife? The ladies here would not know that!
I wrote a book on dating the Lord's way 14 years ago and was self published. Just a few copies left.. I made a good point that you are not to sit around in the house watching Days of Our Lives waiting for the right woman. It does not work. Why? How can a woman know that guy who sits watching ESPN 24/7 is really interested in marrying someone so he can be productive.
The key word is productive. He also needs to go out there.. Prov. 18:22 explains the man go out and find her gets blessing from the Lord. Those gentlemen including myself are looking for someone special. If we all do not, then we will have another rip--Rest In Peace instead of HAVING a rip-our own brides.
God knew what man desire for long time. Started with Adam. It was a sad romantic story because he listened to her instead of God. There were Samson, Solomon, David, Jacob, Ruth, Boaz, um.. almost every story in Old Testament are romantic story. Even in New Testament. We still do not know about Christ but always had Mary M. along with the Disciples of Jesus Christ with Christ Himself. I would not get into that part.. until I am in Heaven and ask whats going on with that!! But there are other romantic stories.. Joseph was willing to accept Mary for who she is (that she was chosen to carry Christ as a virgin), and Paul wrote many things related to marriage.
The whole point in Bible was about marriage between man and God. You ask Jesus to save you. The role is similar when one propose for marriage.
Genesis chapter 24 is most romantic of all along with Ruth and Boaz.
What does both explains? The woman came to the man BUT in Genesis 24.. how did Rebekah know? The servant was send to find her after prayer and asked for clues. THAT is how I do and got my answer.. Still waiting BUT I DO go out and look for her.. both in person AND online.
There are a few potential candidates here on this site.. but needs all clues to fit in. The hair, height, skin color, silver cross necklace, dress conservative (3rd dream showed she dressed up like business with the cross and carrying her bible at a bible study when God showed me after I fasted 3 days of no food and intense prayer to see if I am to marry someone else but that someone else is not the one God wanted me to marry to and showed me the same I explained about)... she lives near a body of water, far from me. Her nationality, oh I could go on.. And timeline.
I have written enough.. Perhaps I need to add this in my new book to explain this situation. Hmm.
I am here merely to seek for my bride. When I find her, I leave here for good.
