I am a country boy. I like my jeans whole and strong. When they get a rip, they don't hang around normally.
Though my shirts do seem to end up with more holes than my jeans... Though I never wear them in public if they are bad haha
Well, it seems like ripping jeans is very fashionable now. Especially among rock singers and women.

Blessings.

Yes they are. But I am old fashioned. I think girls look a whole lot better in skirts or dresses! But to each their own opinion :)

Hmm, haven't looked into it really. Been focusing on other things. I would hope, if I ended up going that route, the college I want to get into would provide those types of courses. It's kind of unlikely, but I guess I never know until I ask/look.
It might affect your choice of college; worth you checking out, anyway.

Basically, future employers are going to want to know what you are good at. This is part of it, anyway.

Blessings.

Is your local church into a 'no pants for women' thing, maybe?

Where my wife and I go it's not that way, anyway.

Most of the girls and women are like that there. But then plenty are not. I just think they look better on them.

You mean, most wear pants? or most don't wear pants at your local church? (Not that it matters; just didn't quite grasp what you were saying.)

I think these cultural things are very subjective and are really a matter of individual preference; same with lots of things.

Blessings.

Most do not wear pants.
And you are right. I am not being bogged down that whoever I marry MUST NOT wear pants. I just always thought that girls looked better in them.

Alright, enough talk about this. We are taking the subject out of hand!
I want to see some more talent God has blessed people with :)

Maybe you'll meet a Godly lady with great talents in making jeans and pants. :)

Blessings.

A while back we had a new user create a thread called 'missing rip', but he typo'd and he really meant 'missing rib', or wife, as in Eve being made from the rib of Adam. The thread became a 'cult' thread in Singles here. I'm sure it would be easy to track down.
"Looking For My Missing Rip" has kind of become the official meme of the single's forum. And the original poster has had a very generous sense of humor about it. :)
See, I knew I had seen something relating to this before, but I never really knew what was going on, and I just kind of forgot about it.
Now it all makes sense. Lol.
Thanks guys :)

Surely it's something to do with slashed blue jeans, though... :)

Arlene, i think what happened is you brought up the page and linked the page as a picture. Don't forget when you open the page that has the picture to right click the picture and select 'view image' or whatever similar wording your browser uses. Then use that link to post the picture.
No. :( These were pictures I uploaded from my computer.

I never understood why people pay $100 for a pair of jeans with rips in them. WhatIsThisIDon'tEven. For me, the whole purpose of buying new clothes is to have something that DOESN'T have holes in them (besides the head, arm, and leg holes) because I usually keep my things until they're fairly threadbare--from actual use, not a supposed trend.

And, to make this post legal... I tried to sew my own pair of jeans once. It wound up being more like a straight jacket for the lower half of the body (an effective modern chastity belt, I suppose.) The denim I used was way too heavy (uncomfortable and not much movement) and the waistband turned out so stiff, it was like wearing a picket fence! Epic fail.

LEGALISM! LEGALISMMMMMMM!!!

Just kidding. But seriously, I have seen this phrase tossed out in playing catch up over the last day. Have Stilly and Oncefallen started dropping banhammers on thread derailers in the last month or something?

Here's a few pics of some of my past art.(I apologize about the size.)

This was an old table that I would randomly paint over & over again. I'd forgotten what happened to this beast & then I was talking about it to the friend I am staying with, and he's like "Dude,I have it..you gave it to me when you moved...go in the kitchen & look!" Lo & behold, there it was. I think I painted all this nonsense back nearly 19 yrs ago.

This painting is something I did back in 99'. I was having a porch sale & it was in a box of random stuff & my friend saw it & was like.."Yer' selling this?" I was like.."Nope..throwing it out, why?" She was like "I want it!"...so all these years she's had it & when I re-joined face book & posted pics of the table I'd done..she posted this to me & said "Look..remember this? I still have it!"

Interesting!

The first photo looks like the template for a big tribal tattoo.

Nah, we just ban people randomly for no reason whatsoever......................

Or at least that's what plenty of people have claimed.
