Anointed Christ is, and we are invited to join in and participate and receive this by belief, not works. Works do come afterwards as a response in thankfulness and praises, not in creating anymore as we once did, you think?
Wha does "grace alone by faith" mean? Why do we have to repent if we are saved by grace? Or is grace referred to as God giving is Jesus?
The whole Idea of coming to Christ is because of repentance
Romans 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? (Believe is an action word repentance is an act of belief) So you think it is a mind thing No when we believe, we will turn from our wicked ways and serve the living God(repent) vs 10 believeth unto righteousness

Good question....Now, we have repented, we have faith in the Lord as our salvation and creator, are we then done with the Lord? The Lord sends us His word, his laws, and the Holy Spirit to guide us now we are saved. Aren't we to listen?
To be saved by grace means to be saved by God because He favors us. That doesn't mean that one has no part in being saved it simply means that we can be saved because God favors us.
And ultimately, would this not be between God and you, first and foremost the most important of all, even if flesh comes to complain as they did in Acts 6, and things started to go catty-wampum, out of God's order, and tricked into man's way taht is divided and can't stand, maybe something to think about? Man has taken his claws and laid it all over truth has man not?
Good question....
James 1:21-24
King James Version (KJV)
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
[SUP]24 [/SUP]For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
Thank you, and why? Who knows, but God, and I am thankful for that, as I see you are also, thank you Jesus Christ, for the provision, For i know I can't do it and need you in my steads to do what you need done to and for all, thank you
So yes, receive the engrafted word, where is the engrafted word of full truth at, what is it?
Could this be it, below:
1 Corinthians 13:4
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)[SUP]
4 [/SUP]Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
1 Corinthians 13:5
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)[SUP]
5 [/SUP]doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
1 Corinthians 13:6
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)[SUP]
6 [/SUP]rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
1 Corinthians 13:7
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)[SUP]
7 [/SUP]beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
1 Corinthians 13:8
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
okay, so now if "I" my "I" gets in the way, "I" fail this test and do not see the engrafted word do I? Maybe you all as well, I can't speak for anyone else, I am only speaking for what God has shown me what God's engrafted, Imputed righteousness is and what is not?
So you all decide, thank you for listening, knowing in your own hearts error from truth, and learn by our mistakes to walk in truth over error, as we continue on here in this world for now, by Faith in Christ alone to Father for me anyway
Are you the author of confusion why can't you say plainly if you agree or not it seems as though you are riding on the edge agreeing yet disagreeing not sure of yourself. It is almost impossible to make a connection between my post and your response. Do you wish to elaborate on your response to my post?
Read this passage carefully, your I should be dead to begin with or you should be killing him daily
2 Pet 1
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
[SUP]3 [/SUP]According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
[SUP]6 [/SUP]And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
[SUP]7 [/SUP]And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Was not what is stated about what you just posted here?
[SUP]9 [/SUP]But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

Salvation through Christ is not accomplished by obeying law, it is only accomplished through grace. That is done when we acknowledge God, and we go to God to lead us. So we go to Christ for cleansing, to be accepted because we have faith in God, and Christ is God.
Now that is over and done.
We are loved by the Lord, we are His child, we are part of the family of the Lord. God wants the best for His children, and the law leads the child to the best, to abundance for him. God wants that child to be part of Him, and God cannot be part of sin, so God leads his family away from sin. If the child gives his whole self over to sin, then God cannot live within that child any longer for God cannot live with sin. Christ tells us that the more we walk with Him in the kingdom, the greater we are in His kingdom.
Salvation is apart from this, salvation is through faith.
Is it not through death one sees the light, death to self?
Philippians 3:10
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
[SUP]10 [/SUP]that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
Philippians 3:11
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
[SUP]11 [/SUP]if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
So do we put confidence in self flesh or god alone to install, engraft, impute thios new life in 1 cor 13:4-13
Philippians 3:3
For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
Just saying and see no contradiction, do you?

Not sure what you are misreading, but surely there is on your part confusion as to what you think I am posting or not posting?
It was just in addition to your post, or do yuo just plain and simply not see the fight that still goes on today, in and of flesh carnal nature of one's mind that needs renewed in Spirit and truth daily?
Do you not see this fight that started in Acts 6, and the apostles gave into it? Flesh complaining, not rained enough, rained too much.
Okay Lord you delivered us now what, I need. I need, likes
Do we Brother need likes and things of that sort from others? When we have
Ephesians 1:6
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
[SUP]6 [/SUP]to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Do we Brother even though I approve of your post, who am "I" to approve?
But a servant a bond servant of Christ.
So what has got you in a flare Brother, do you need approval? I really do not think you do, since you are accepted in the beloved do you?
Or am I just reading you wrong?
I want fellowship and the right to speak as you do also, Can we get along and let each others iron sharpen each other in Spirit and truth?
In the beginning, it is the Lord's forgiveness that saves us. However, he expects us to learn from our mistakes and repent. Paul tells us how we have to work out our own salvation (Phil 2:12-13) and Jesus tells us to repent (Matt 4:17).Wha does "grace alone by faith" mean? Why do we have to repent if we are saved by grace? Or is grace referred to as God giving is Jesus?
I see no bearings in Acts 6 and what is being discussed,,, we have strayed somewhat from the op and theme of the threadIt was just in addition to your post, or do you just plain and simply not see the fight that still goes on today, in and of flesh carnal nature of one's mind that needs renewed in Spirit and truth daily?

So to be clear, true repent actually means to change from unbelief to belief right, at least that is what I see as what repent means to me, to change one's mind is this right in your view?
