What helps you wake up in the morning? Do we have any early morning joggers here?

Jogging is for the birds. Er...early...birds? Yeah, never mind. I don't jog. I wake up super slowly over several cups of coffee and CC. Also, I didn't mean for this to be this color, but I'm not awake enough to care about fixing it.

I just wake up. No rituals to speak of, really. I don't use caffeine or anything to wake me up as it doesn't work. But that's to my advantage, i wake up on my own without relying on anything to get me going each day.

I don't wake up :p Or at least it takes me until about mid day.
Best way to wake up to to be in a tent, it gets bright, and either too warm or too cold to be comfy :p

Usually a cold shower and breakfast will do the trick. I recently decided to start waking up early and in the mornings that I have, I've been so glad I did.

A warm shower and a hearty breakfast help to wake me from my slumber. I'm not a morning person.

I find that if I eat a large hearty breakfast, I am ready to pass out after. Lots of coffee and a banana or small breakfast sandwich and I am good until noon.

I guess it depends on what you mean by a hearty breakfast. I'd love the English breakfast (bangers and mash, bacon and eggs, tomatoes with herbs etc. but it's not healthy). My hearty breakfast just has all of the essentials - a bowl of cereal, two slices of toast with spreadings and a piece of fruit.

I just wake up. Either my alarm went off because I have no choice or I just sleep until I wake up naturally.

What helps me wake up in the morning?

Actually falling asleep 7 hours before my alarm goes off.

Which means...actually GOING TO BED more than 7 hours before my alarm goes off.

Oops.

Unfortunately, I don't have too many problems waking up. Now days it's the falling asleep part that's always the biggest challenge, and it's almost to the point where I am starting to dread night fall because I know I'll just be tossing and turning.

What helps wake me up in the morning...
-The shrieking of a small child.
-Getting smacked in the face with a toy.
-The smell of a dirty diaper.
-And coffee. Always coffee.

a 20-30lb fuzzy black Maine-Coon starts saying "meow-a-doodle-doo!" as soon as day breaks, and jumps onto my stomach with great inertial force, to let me know it is time for breakfast.

this method of alarm clock i find to be quite reliable and successful.

Absolutely nothing helps wake me up in the morning. -_-

I mentioned this in chat last night, but my next painting will be "Awake, O Sleeper!" and it will hang in my bedroom to convict me every morning.

Once I actually crawl out of bed for good, I wake up pretty easily.
