I really do not know why I waste my time with people like this. It is like arguing with a child. When one's fundamental ideas about who and what God is are flawed it is impossible for them to develop a biblically constructed theology.

As I recall, there are essentially only two categories of published translations of Philippians 2:6 out of about 20 translations for that verse that I looked up. And I have sufficient background in being taught by the Holy Spirit to know which of these two categories are correct. Your translation obviously represents a third category. And that would be gibberish. Furthermore, it's obvious that you haven't said anything that indicates that you even understand the opening post. So, there is reason to not only doubt your mastery of Greek syntax but of the English language also.

Look, it is syntactically as simple as this. Emptied- ἐκένωσενis the verb that defines the action. Equal - ἴσα is the adjective that defines his nature. Form -μορφὴν is the noun that tells what was emptied out. All one has to do is simply diagram these three verses to understand what is being said. Whatever 'spirit' you are hearing is NOT the Holy Spirit.

I disagree with that. 'Equal' wasn't the adjective defining his nature, 'equality with God' was what he would not grasp for, as I read it.

If you are a defender of the deity of Christ I do not understand you inability to grasp the idea behind Phil.2. How can you claim to be one and not see the other?

ἴσα - equal is an accusative, neuter, plural adjective.

This is not what the text is suggesting. Paul tells us very plainly that he already existed in the form of God. Since he existed in the form of God, he did not regard this equality a matter of robbery, seizure, or plunder. It was not something he obtained by theft. It was his μορφῇ - his intrinsic form.
