Thanks to you and biscuit and secular hermit; you have made me rejoice in my tough battle with opposition. But, my aim is to forget the battle and to focus on the "preaching,in season or out of season" Not all love the whole truth and to them I said, Please leave and go to a Church you agree with, and be blessed in Jesus name. I just think it rubs people the wrong way that you may look up and find a former murderer in heaven with you. The truth is the truth. There are 1050 commandments in the new testament. We all backslide in some way or another. Just because you aren't fornicating, stealing or murdering doesn't mean you are in the clear. If that's the case that we can lose our salvation every time we willingly sin, we'd all be going to hell.

I agree 90%, but the 10% disagreement is dangerous.
To "have faith in Christ" cannot truly be separated from "making Him Lord".
It is not about the works, but the works will always be present in the walk of a Believer.
How about a 50 percent agree LOL.
Yes good works must follow faith & salvation with recreation to be good-works producer (Eph 2).

But trusting Christ as Savior can be & must be separated from obeying Him as boss after we are saved.

Eph 2 separates faith from works, adding that works follow salvation -- they are not the cause of salvation.

Now when one trusts Christ as Savior one must trust the real Lord Jesus, not a figment of the imagination, not Jesús the Mexican mechanic, not Michael the archangel. We confess or agree with God as to Who He is. And He is YHWH, the Lord of all.

Yet it is not a promise to obey nor obeying with good works that saves, it is grace.

Once we are saved we do have the admonition:


I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Rom 12:1-2.

This very admonition recognizes that as Salvation is a free gift of grace, the believer who is saved may need to present Himself to the Lord for service.

Now I have no objection to encouraging persons at the time of salvation to accept that Jesus will be the Lord-authority in their life, but one should be careful also not to present that we get saved by promising to obey.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

By grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, not of works lest anyone should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.

The Bible is clear that no Liar will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, that all liars will burn in the lake of fire and brimstone (rev 21:8)
It is is written that no fornicator or adulterer will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
I assure you the Bible is True. if you continue to live in fornication, YOU ARE and fornicator, it doesn't matter what you claim with your mouth "I'm Saved" or "I'm under the Blood" or "I'm under Grace" You reveal what is in your heart by living in fornication, your actions prove what is in your heart, matters not what you say with your mouth.
Just because people believe ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED, does not, nor ever will NEGATE inspired by God SCriptures that teach fornicators will NOT enter into Heaven. So this generation can go ahead and claim to be SAVED with their mouths and continue to fornicate, they will be the ones who are weeping and gnashing their teeth when they are not taken even though they thought they should have been, because they believed the lie that if you get Saved, you are always saved. Please i beg any of you who believe that false doctrine to click on and link above to read for your yourself what the Bible says about this matter.
Once Saved Always Saved is a lie, and HERE is Biblical Proof of that Truth.

The difference is the true believer in Christ will feel sorrow for what they did, and repent and ask for forgiveness of that sin.
Those that walk around claiming to be Christians and saying they are saved, but do not think anything they are doing is wrong, therefore do not repent or ask for forgiveness will not be saved.

Greetings TJ. I don't disagree with you.
However, I prefer OSS = Once saved, saved! Or Eternal Security.

OSAS seems to me to postulate that the concept of being saved, but not always saved, is a legitimate concept. The very term saved to me makes no sense if it were temporary. How could I be saved if I will end up in the Lake of Fire? In that case I would say that I was not saved, but given a chance at salvation.

So the question of where does the Bible say you cannot lose salvation or where does the Bible say that salvation is eternal, begs the question of what is inherent in the term salvation. Is "salvation" a thing that is losable in its concept? I think not. The question rather for the doubter is "Where does the Bible present salvation as something losable?" Where in the Bible do the words lose & salvation even occur in the same verse? Answer = nowhere.

ONLY IF we walk in the light does He cleanse us from all sin. So if a person is walking in fornication, they are NOT walking in the light are they? If one is viewing pornography are they walking in the light as Jesus did? God Forbid. How is one walking in the light if they continue to lie all the time? they are not walking in the light. How is one walking in the light if they are not LOVING ONE ANOTHER?
Again Scriptures are True and what men teach is false. IF we walk in the light as Jesus did, THEN does His blood cleanseth us from all sin, but NOT before then.
Many claim they are cleansed by His blood (Saved) but do NOT walk in the light as He did, and still think they are Saved and Cleansed, there will be much weeping and gnashing of teeth by many Christians who think they are Saved and Cleansed but who Scripturally speaking are not. i, in love warn you of this, change and repent of your sins, and cease from them. Jesus in you can give you the Strength to do so.

In II Thess. 3:3 “But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and guard you from the evil one.”

How does one get washed, sanctified, and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit ?
Answer : By believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and what He did for us, and repenting plus asking forgiveness of your
sins. Turning away from those sins.

You can not still walk in them and still be saved.

Thing is our Lord Jesus says you do.

Yes there is plenty of scriptures that say believe in the Lord, and you shall be saved.

There is also plenty that say, must be born again to be saved, must repent, must forgive or you will not be forgiven, and so forth.

To many erase all the rest that Jesus said to be saved, and just water it down to mere belief ( He existed and died on the cross and rose on the third day ).

There is more to it than that. Read Matthew 25, both groups believed in Jesus as Lord, but only one's groups faith was strong enough that they did what they were suppose to out of love and not obligation. Lord Jesus said to those come to eternal life, and the other group He cast away to ever lasting punishment.

No you are saying this:

Have you heard of the logical fallacy called
"denying the antecedent"?

What is your proof of the "only if"?
Does your Bible say "only"?

Could this be John 13:

Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. I miss-worded my opinion, here for I apologize.
Of cause you need to repent to be accepted into Jesus, how can one believe that Jesus saves and yet not acknowledge there own faults? No, that is foolishness and is not what the Bibel teaches, I believe that even though I am forgiven and accepted by Christ I am still human and will mess up as we are not perfect. But even though I sin and mess up Jesus forgives me as I have acknowledged that I am wrong and that only Jesus can help me. My life is in his hands and I will serve him, but if I stumble I am not ripped away from him.

"denying the antecedent"?

What is your proof of the "only if"?
Does your Bible say "only"?

Could this be John 13:

That and the simple fact that it states he is the light. Meaning we follow him and we are in the light.

The Bible does not teach Once Saved Always Saved. That is a teaching of men.

With all due respect, maybe it's you who should read the Bible more. The reason OSAS is a doctrine of men is because its not a Bible doctrine.

Yes, and like I said you acknowledge that you did wrong and asked for forgiveness of it.

However there are some that believe they can repent, accept Jesus Christ as Lord/Savior and He died on the cross for the remission of sins, and rose on the third day, Be baptized, and ask for forgiveness of their sins.

But then think they can then go and lie, murder, still, commit adultery, and any other sin on a regular every day basis without repenting/asking forgiveness for them because they think there is no need or it isn't wrong to live this way.

That is a false teaching and very dangerous. We learn from Hebrews 10:26 you can not willfully sin after receiving the truth, and still be saved.

I miss-worded my opinion, here for I apologize.
Of cause you need to repent to be accepted into Jesus, how can one believe that Jesus saves and yet not acknowledge there own faults? No, that is foolishness and is not what the Bibel teaches, I believe that even though I am forgiven and accepted by Christ I am still human and will mess up as we are not perfect. But even though I sin and mess up Jesus forgives me as I have acknowledged that I am wrong and that only Jesus can help me. My life is in his hands and I will serve him, but if I stumble I am not ripped away from him.

Brother, may you provide scriptures to prove your statement? Say where it is states that you can lose salvation.
