I was painting my nails the other day and asked my Husband if he liked the color, he said, it's nice. I asked him why he never says anything about makeup that I put on sometimes or nail polish? He does tell me I look nice, but I mean I just wondered what he thought, he said, "I guess because you don't need it. If you put a little on, it's fine, you never put to much on, and that's good. God doesn't want us to cover ourselves up with all that stuff and like I said, I like you without it."

I actually was astonished. In 15 years he's never said that to me, never. I felt really, really good. I was so happy to know that he likes the natural me.
Aw, that's sweet. :)

Apparently even at age 22 I have no privacy. A piece of mail was just delivered to my house for me- I am at work so my mother opens it up. So upset.

I spilled coffee on the carpet. We have no carpet cleaner. My sister and her fiance are at the mall because "they wanna spend time together," and I have no money at the moment. The money we were given to from Dad is WITH my sister. This...is slightly annoying. I mean, maybe I shouldn't have brought coffee into a carpeted room. I've cleaned up what I could, but now I'm stuck, and the carpet might be stained.

OKay, so the carpet might not become stained. Someone told me to get water boiling and then sponge it up with a clean white cloth. It's working pretty good.

Lav, your post about the therapist scares me since my sister booked me an appointment for next week and I'm in introvert. It is VERY difficult for me to speak to anyone about anything. I just look and smile and say "I'm okay."
she has helped, though. it's because 'they' don't know anything about abilify... anyone!

Here is the best info I could find about Abilify withdrawal, Lav. About 1/3 down the page it says that the withdrawal can last a few months depending on how long you were on it, how high your dosage was, and your body's physiology (how well it can eliminate the drug from your system).

Watching TV while in the Youtube Room. Surprised I don't have a complete media overload.

i saw the discussion about the supplements a couple days ago.

i will validate what lil_christian said about the water. most of us do not drink nearly enough water, but what is true is that our liver plays a very large role with metabolizing drugs and toxins (as well as fat).

however, your liver needs enough water to operate in optimum condition. this is fact.

how do you know if you are getting enough water? well, the baseline for minimum water consumption is 1/2 oz for every lb. of body weight. and if you drink beverages that have a diuretic effect, such as coffee, you should drink extra for those beverages.

also, try not to chug a lot of water at one time, when you're doing this--the best way is to space it through out the day.

thank you. i think i found that one. i probably have at least 25 days left according to this. that would be a full 90 days.

i don't expect anyone to read that.

yeah, there are a lot of wonderful folks here. it's my pleasure to share this info, lav.

ok, so to your statement about enough:

a gallon is 128 ounces, adequate for anyone who is 256 lbs or less.

the easiest way to figure out your water needs is to simply halve your weight and you'll know what your water requirement by ounces.

one cup of water is 8 oz.
one quart of water is 32 oz.
one gallon is four quarts or 128 oz.

I'm really bad about spacing it throughout the day, then I get super thirsty and I end up chugging 16 ounces in 30 seconds >.< I'm getting better, though.

That's what I do too. When I try to carry water around with me, sipping as I go, I tend to misplace my cup, or else it gets drank by kids >.<

Prayers to our brothers and sisters & the children that are being persecuted by terrorists in Iraq for being Christians. Keep them in your prayers everyone.

This amount should also be adjusted for warm or dry climates, physical activity level, and for age (as we get older, the more our bodies dry out and need more water to stay hydrated).

I think...I want my sisters and I to start walking 30 minutes a day. There is a bike path somewhere. We could start using that maybe.
