In the beginning was the Word............Jesus Christ. He is all of the Word.
If what you say can be applied as you have implicated and Christ is the end of the law to eveyone who believes, does that mean that when He came He put away and made an end of Himself to everyone who believes? He put away the first to establish the second (Heb 10:7-9)...

7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

It says nothing. The Pharisses crossed the STreet *and didn't want to help the beathen up guy,*Corinthians*the book Paul wrote, says something different in*Chapter*13. If I speak in tongues, give all the money to feed the poor, clothe the naked, and everything else, I am nothing without Love, these three are FAith, Hope, and Love, even Faith, is under the belt of Love, because perfect love casts out fear, and to love and to have faith, fear needs to be done away with, just as the 613 laws, which caused great fear to the Jews, that they wouldn't be able to keep them. It doesn't say much, but rules. Love is an action, Jesus went to the cross, not to keep those laws but to break them, along with the stoney hearts of men, to make them sensitive to his spirit. There is no freedom in rules, it is bondage. A chain, around the neck, like an ox. That is a great word, to obey is better to sacrifice, or to bring an ox as a burnt offering, he want's obedience, Love God with all your heart soul, and mind, and have no hatred in your heart towards another.

We must not mix peaches with eggs. In Deuteronomy the law was given for when they entered into the promised land. When studying the Torah, teachings, one must revere the Author enough to discern which laws are appled where, not to mention hearing what our Lord, Jesus Christ, teaches us about which laws may be replaced by grace. Listening to Jesus Christ, and acting as His Example is how the rest of the still valid laws are to be observed, all the time living in the grace of Jesus Christ by His Blood.

If everyone who believes none of the laws are good wants to think obeying God as best we are able is abusing God's grace, and God, Himself, this seems to be an unnecessary burden they have taken upon themselves for those who feel it their due to be obedient. The curse of the law is destroyed on the cross, now it is time to study the Word to know how the Torah applies to all who believe Jesus Christ. You will not be doing God a favor by studying it; it is your duty.

The law is a unit which cannot be broken, you break one, you break 'em all.

Some are not "replaced by grace,"
either all are replaced by grace, or none are replaced by grace.

They cannot be separated.

And that is not a problem, because we have the law of Christ, which accomplishes the law,
and the multitude of NT commands which explains Christ's law (1Co 9:21; Gal 6:2).

What translation are you getting these from? Seems like some of the commands are quite a bit different than what I see.

In particular Exodus 34:26 where many Bibles will say something like, "Do boil a young goat in it's mother's milk." (#163-164)

Not so. . .yours is the inferior translation.

The text reads: "Thou shalt not seethe a kid in its mother's milk."

Non-responsive, all. . .because you don't have an answer.
I can't help you if don't realize you are answering my answers. Perhaps "Non-responsive" is your way of saying "greetings" :)

Gal 3:16: "The promises were spoken to Abraham and. . .to Christ."
A promise (e.g., Ge 12:2-3, 15:4-6; Jer 31:31) is not a covenant (e.g., Ge 17:1-22; Lk 22:20)
unless the promise is sealed by a covenant.
The promises, not the covenants, were spoken to Christ
It does not negate the fact that it's a promise to Abraham so what is your point?

Indeed, he did.
But Abraham did not share the same covenant of grace NT believers do.
His covenant was conditioned on performance, on keeping it (Ge 17:9-14), under penalty of death.
That's not grace.
One might pull whatever OT passage to support his theology and only if Abraham was saved by a different faith not based on grace. Is Abraham saved by grace or by work? Is his faith based on work? Oh yes, you have answered that.

Slippin' and a slidin'. . .where you gonna' land. . .on Abraham, or on the covenant?
Typical Elin :)

believed (Ge 15:6), and the covenant was based on performance (Ge 17:9-10), not grace.
Do you mind if I use this as my signature?

Fundamentally initiated?

Entirely
initiated.
non responsive :):)

Slippin ' and a slidin' again. . .where you gonna' land. . .on God or on the covenant.
You might want to consider this as your signature.

God is a God of both law and grace.
The Abrahamc covenant is not, it is of performance (Ge 17:9-10), not grace.
No performance (Ge 17:10), no covenant (Ge 17:14).

So the new covenant of grace was neither promised, nor given, to Abraham.
The Abrahamic covenant was one of performance (Ge 17:10-11), not of grace.
or should I consider this as my signature?

God is the word, Christ is the word made flesh, Paul received God's word from Christ, and you ignore it.
You are constantly judging and what scripture calls murdering others!! When you say out and out that Christ disagreed with what His Father said! Paul received the word from the triune God, God is One. If you hear Moses, you would know of Christ, and if you deny Moses you deny Christ.

There are many NT commandments that far exceed the the old law of commandments and you never make reference to obeying and keeping them in any of your post. WHY IS THAT? I have given some examples of NT commandments and you just ignore them like they don't exist or fall short of comparing to those of the old. Do you prefer the old over and against the new?
Have you understood all these things?” Jesus asked.“Yes,” they replied.
He said to them, “Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”

Sorry, I forgot the "not". It definitely says "Do NOT boil a young goat in it's mother's milk."

My bad.

What I was trying to say was that the Scriptures say a goat, and not animals in general.

All questions previously answered.

The record speaks for itself.

Non-responsive.

You have no answers.

Actually, I prefer this as my signature:

This is what the LORD says:

"Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength
or the rich man boast of his riches,
but let him who boasts boast in this: that he understands and knows me,
that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight,"

delcares the LORD.

In the beginning was the Word............Jesus Christ. He is all of the Word.
...and the Word came in the flesh saying He's not overturning what He previously said....and when one claims he's the Word and denies the Word he's just another word.

It's not as bad as
"my son, do forget my teaching but keep not my commands in your heart." :)

Mockery--the last refuge of a failed and non-argument.

If one likes mockery of the law with a wrecked train one would like any mockery.
