Hahaha, oh my goodness.
So I just had a moment right now.

My laptop always gets stuck and the screen won't move to the page I want it to so I end up sporatically pushing a bunch of buttons so it will go back to the page I want it.
AND THEN all of a SUDDEN
The NARRARATOR function just came on
and then it said my full name lol!

I felt like God was trying to play a joke on me :p

I didn't feel led, I was moved to pray. I remember when my mom got sick, I had no peace of mind. I know God is in control, yet I couldn't help it. Paul can also relate...

2 Corinthians 2:12-17

[SUP]12 [/SUP]Now when I went to Troas to preach the gospel of Christ and found that the Lord had opened a door for me, [SUP]13 [/SUP]I still had no peace of mind, because I did not find my brother Titus there. So I said goodbye to them and went on to Macedonia

Praying for both of you.

The second half of that is "Caffeine conquers all!" Or at least that's what a World of Warcraft nut told me when I asked him, between playing WoW 10 hours a day and working at our job 8 hours a day... and lunch break, and travel time to and from work... how he got enough sleep.

But did you know? They did a study of people who fall asleep in church and found that if everyone who falls asleep during church was laid end to end... they'd be a lot more comfortable. :D

Wait... bacon? Y'all are cooking? Is this church or dinner or what? And who's bringing the bacon flavored mayo? (Yes there really is such a thing.)
I had caffeine lol.

Everyone brought their favorite bacon dish. We had loaded potato skins (thanks TGI Friday's freezer foods.), bacon doughnuts, candied bacon, regular bacon, bacon mac n' cheese, turkey bacon (because someone didn't like pork. And it actually tasted good to me), and BLT.

What if the mark of the beast is symbolic and not literal?
Maybe...I haven't really looked into that part of the Scripture. I probably should...but Revelation just seems like the "sacred book" that everyone knows about but no one touches.
Although many within Christendom assume that the Mark of the Beast will be a literal mark, I'm not fully convinced of that. In my lifetime I have seen Christians panic at bar codes, debit cards, and now RFID chips as possibly being "the mark". I think that it will be impossible for a true believer to receive the mark because those who refuse to "worship the beast" will be killed.

Deuteronomy 6 NIV
[SUP]6 [/SUP]These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. [SUP]7 [/SUP]Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. [SUP]8 [/SUP]Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.[SUP]9 [/SUP]Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

Revelation 13 NIV
[SUP]16 [/SUP]It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,[SUP]17 [/SUP]so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

Albeit over time the Hebrew people took the direction in Deuteronomy to be literal and even today Orthodox Jews wear phylacteries (google it) in observation of this command, I've always taken it to have been more figurative in that God expected His children to keep his law as utmost importance at all times in their actions (symbols on their hands) and thoughts (bound to their forehead). It is entirely probable that the Apostle John used the same figurative parallel in Revelation.

Home sweet home!

My body is having trouble converting from working nights to days though, haven't been sleeping well the past couple nights.

Of course, your circadian rhythms are all out of whack. Give it a week, you'll be right again.

Yep, I was working nights for almost two solid weeks so that doesn't help any. I don't operate well without sleep so it's challenging to only get 3-4 hours of sleep a night.

Also, looking to make some major changes to my life sometime next year. Early in the planning/research stage so can't share any details here, maybe once I know more. :)

On a completely unrelated note, I don't know if I can keep my cat anymore. My sister's fiance already has one, and while ours was technically here first, we've obliged to everything. We tried to get his cat and my cat to get along. But because we didn't do it properly, mister fiance thinks that's it, we're not trying again. And now my cat lives in the UNHEATED AND NOT AIRCONDITIONED GARAGE and office area. We can't keep his litter box in the office. Not that it smells, it just can't be in there. There's no room in there for it. And our days of warm weather are coming to an end. The dogs and the cat don't really get along, the dogs terrorize the poor thing. And it's not like I can keep him in my room all the time. My cat deserves better than this...the worst part is, though they won't be staying here forever, they'll get an apartment when they can...they'll probably just live here through the winter if the fiance gets a job.

I hate this. I hate all of it.

Have you and your dad talked about what's going on? Also, have you talked with your sister about how you're feeling? I won't say that will help you or your situation, but maybe you might have a better understanding of what's going on.

And if you have, then just ignore my questions.

Sort of. He presented the problem of my cat living out of the garage. I'll try again with my sister, though I thought I brought it up to her...
