Yes, and I do not believe I can keep the law on my own power, but it is Christ in me that the desire to do so is even there.
And in the power of Christ you keep Christ's the new covenant law of love (Mt 22:37-39),
which fulfills the law (Mt 22:40; Ro 13:8-10; Gal 5:6).

The church is the one olive tree of God's people, composed of believing Jews and believing Gentiles.

God's people are not two trees.
Yes, ONE tree, branches of Jews that remained true like those listed in Hebrews 11, Jews grafted back in and to be grafted back in, and any gentiles in Christ grafted in. Understand the concept of grafting. Fruit trees that have a good root system might not produce a desirable peach. it is common to remove a twig from a good peach tree then graft it onto the strong but rejected tree. The fruit borne from that grafted on twig will produce fruit like the good tree it came from. It doesn't make the whole tree a new kind of tree. Spiritually applied, it will be possible for Jews and gentiles to coexist on the ONE tree Christ.
John 15:1-5 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
[SUP]4 [/SUP] Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
[SUP]5 [/SUP] I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Leviticus 12:1-3 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[SUP]2 [/SUP] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
That came from Abraham Acts 7:8 8 And he gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.

John 7:22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.

The following is what came from the law given to Moses.

Deuteronomy 30:6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

This is the new tranferring the tables of stone on the heart

Hebrews 8:10King James Version (KJV)

10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
The promise of the new covenant says nothing about tables of stone.

The law written on the heart in the new covenant is Christ's new covenant law of love (Mt 22:37-39)
which fulfills the law (Mt 22:40; Ro 13:8-10; Gal 5:6).

The ark of the covenant was in the temple
We are the temple thus the ark of the covenant is within us spiritually
The ark of the covenant was God with them.

Those in Christ are God's temple in whom God dwells by his Holy Spirit.

I'm sorry, forgive me, for some strange reason I kept reading your original post (588) as saying, "I do NOT know that there is a covenant that is new in Christ''
...quite embarrassing. That's why I posted the two verses from Hebrews.
We still love you. . .

I answered here.
No you didn't. the original post is on post 522. A simple yes or now will suffice.
Have you stopped beating your mother?

A simple yes or no will suffice.

It must be a great burden to be the only person that knows more than anybody else. :)
No burden is great when Christ bears it with you.

The original post is here
My answer is Biblical, clear and speaks for itself.

why was circumcision done before the sinai covenant ?
Abram and his menfolks were circumcised as a token, or sign, of the covenant God offered Abram, renaming him to Abraham along with that token. The new name was also a token, not THE covenant, but a sign of the covenant.
Genesis 17:11 (KJV)
[SUP]11 [/SUP] And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.

But that practice didn't stay a simple token when made law under the Mosaic (Sinaitic) Covenant. It became a commandment of the Mosaic, for the Hebrews alone to obey as a condition of the promises of that covenant to them, NOT made to gentiles in general, but for them that joined a Hebrew nation family as bondsman, slave, or willing stranger.
Exodus 12:48 (KJV)
[SUP]48 [/SUP] And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.

[HR][/HR] Exodus 12:49 (KJV)
[SUP]49 [/SUP] One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

Acts 15 made it clear none of that pertained to gentile Christians by commandment. I've already posted the Pauline scriptures nailing that down.

Nope. . .see previous post, #611.
Nope. The Temple was not decayed and waxeth old. Scripture will define scripture. That is the beauty of God's Word and the answer will be found in you seek it.

Would you agree that the new earth and new heaven are in the new covenant?

Isa_65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
Isa_66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
2Pe_3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Rev_21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Isaiah 51:6
Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

Nope. . .no adopting into Israel.

God's people are in Christ, or they are not God's people.

They are adopted into God's family in Christ, God the Son.
Rom_9:4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;

Gal_4:5 To redeem them that were under the law (of marriage, divorce, adultery, death, remarriage - see Deu 24:1-4)24:1 When a man has taken a wife and married her, and it happens that she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found a thing of uncleanness in her, and he writes her a bill of divorce and puts it in her hand, and sends her out of his house;
Deu 24:2 and if she goes out from his house and goes and becomes another man's wife,
Deu 24:3 and the latter husband hates her, and writes her a bill of divorce, and puts it in her hand, and sends her out of his house or if the latter husband who took her to be his wife dies;
Deu 24:4 her former husband who sent her away is not to take her again to be his wife, after she is defiled. For it is an abomination before YAHWEH, and you shall not cause the land to sin which YAHWEH your Elohim is giving to you as an inheritance.),

that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Totally agree with "They are adopted into God's family in Christ, God the Son."

Why? Because God divorced the HOuse of Israel and through Hosea, said they are not my people, but in the new covenant, they are my people once again.

Ingrafted into Israel:

Rom 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
Rom 11:2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
Rom 11:3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
Rom 11:4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
Rom 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
Rom 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
Rom 11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded
Rom 11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
Rom 11:9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
Rom 11:10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.
Rom 11:11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
Rom 11:12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
Rom 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
Rom 11:14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.
Rom 11:15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
Rom 11:16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
Rom 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
Rom 11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
Rom 11:19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
Rom 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
Rom 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Rom 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

Rom 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
Rom 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
Rom 11:30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
Rom 11:31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
Rom 11:32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
Rom 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
Rom 11:34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
Rom 11:35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
Rom 11:36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

All are grafted into the trunk of the tree, which is Christ.

2 Corinthians 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

2 Corinthians 3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

2 Corinthians 3:4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:

2 Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

2 Corinthians 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

God is good always

2 Corinthians 3:7-9 But if the ministry that produced death – carved in letters on stone tablets – came with glory, so that the Israelites could not keep their eyes fixed on the face of Moses because of the glory of his face (a glory which was made ineffective),
how much more glorious will the ministry of the Spirit be?
For if there was glory in the ministry that produced condemnation, how much more does the ministry that produces righteousness excel in glory!
