Is Baptism Effective for Women Who Wear Shower Caps?

This is a question for those who claim that water immersion saves.

Suppose a woman gets immersed, but wears a shower cap so that her hair doesn't get wet.

What then?
 
It's only partially effective. She will enter eternity bald, as her hair will go to hell.
 
Water baptism doesn't save but I don't see why a woman can't wear a shower cap if she doesn't mind ppl thinking she is a bit strange

Of course if her hair is long she can use it as a whip if its wet and I live with a lot of girls so I know first hand how it hurts
 
O.K. All of these posts should be put in the humor thread as they made me laugh out loud......Really?.......Nothing wrong with a lady trying to keep her hair dry...Nothing.....They would be 100% baptized....Now you all made the Blond go and get cereal...Blondese for serious....lol

I applied for a Bible Answer Man job, even wrote an enthusiastic cover letter, explaining my exciting new take on hermeneutics, as exemplified by allegories found in Warner Brothers animations, but didn't get a reply.

He said shower cap, not swim cap. You're from that swim cap cult of the false prophet Michael Phelps, that believes it's not enough to be immersed, but you also have to do a lap or two under water. Admit it!
 
Seeing how we aren't saved by baptism I guess it wouldn't matter. Just means she doesn't have to dry her hair.

And hey I am sure some men (not me lol) wear shower caps. Kinda odd men but hey I don't judge lol.

Seriously, Atwood, is your life that boring? Or are you always having 'stir-up-the sheep' days?
Trouble at work or home and just need a place to dump it on :confused:

Must say though - you got some laughs instead of a fight, so far. But being that baptism, from Jesus' perspective, has a very sacred meaning.
Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Just saying - some things need to be shown a bit of respect - like His death.

Romans 6 has baptism into Christ, not into water.
But as I recall when I was a lad, and a member of a Campbellite "church," it bothered me a bit when a saw women get immersed wearing shower caps.

Yes, it is worth a chuckle, but I admit also to being interested as to what you guys who make water an idol think of the shower cap.

Now when you read the sacred Bible, you should detect that the Lord has a sense of humor, as when the woman in the Elisha series complained to the king how they had eaten the other woman's son one day, and like the next day the other woman wouldn't give up her son for lunch.
