No, Actually it was in fulfillment to all prophesies to all mankind, It was always that way, The mystery paul spoke of. The jews did not get it, it seems you still do not get it, because your trying to equate promises to a specific nation to you. It never was for you.
Let's see shall I believe YOU, or scriptures. decisions decisions hmmm
You say "NO" to scriptures, I say YES to scriptures. Hmmm.
I believe scriptures, you don't. hmmmmm, wow I think I have the answer to your probleeemmmmmmm!

Even though you hate these scriptures and say NO to them, they stand. They are true. So sorry for you sparky!

(Luk 1:54)
He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;
(Luk 1:55)
As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

Chosen as a nation for a certain purpose, yes. Not as a nation chosen as heirs of eternal life. God has one such people only.

The way I see it is that Israel was punished collectively with the Babylonian enslavement. When that came to an end the Jews were instructed to return home, build the temple and repent, but did they? NO! Most Jews stayed in Babylon and those that did return did not repent and burn offerings which they were told to do, result was that their enslavement lasted seven times longer established in Levitical laws, this time frame came to an end in the 1940s, when low and behold God allowed Israel to become a nation again.

IF you need anymore proof that Israel is under Gods protection, then just look at how miraculous the victories were that Israel won in the wars they fought, all of which were designed to wipe Israel off the map and kill every Jew and drive those alive into the sea.

your right about romans 9,

but we are not talking about romans 9. we are talking about romans 11. Stick to the topic. Rom 11 says God is not done with Israel. Listen to God. not your own understanding.
Of course God is not done with Israel. No one here is saying that.

The question is WHO ISRAEL IS.
Is it the ones who follow Israel's Messiah? Or is the so-called Israel you love comprised of antichrist terrorist murderers of Jesus and His Body over in the middle east.

So far you choose the terrorists and think they are Israel. And you think OTHER people have issues? lol

There is only ONE PEOPLE to whom Christ's Salvation IS SENT?

And if you continue divorcing yourself from being ONE THESE PEOPLE, then you have no salvation;

(Mat 15:24)
But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Exactly!! The Jews are surrounded by her enemies on every side. Why does God just not allow them to be obliterated? Because they are His chosen,His hand is covering them.

Isreal is Gods chosen nation here on earth, to do certain things,

but all his children (jew or gentile) are his chosen people to spend eternity with him

I think I need a brake. Love Hoffco
When Jesus was led into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil - After it was over, the Angels came and ministered to Him.

When we're not dealing with flesh & blood, God has as much compassion on us, of course, as He had on His Own Son.

Breaks are good! They are Scriptural in cases of 'divisions', that the N.T. gives us commands to "turn away" from.

Turn away from and pray for the human being ~ but not hate of course.

HIS PEACE to you & yours & whomever else.

I believe scriptures, you don't. hmmmmm, wow I think I have the answerrrrrrrrr!

in other words, you will believe you, and not scripture. in doing so you will trist scripture, spiritualise prophesy, to make it mean whatever you want, and make God no more of a prophet than nostrodomus, who you can make all his prophesies come true by spiritualising them also

I think I will chose God, whos prophesies literally come true the exact whay he said they will, so there is no question.

Chosen as a nation for a certain purpose, yes. Not as a nation chosen as heirs of eternal life. God has one such people only.
I think people have difficultly in seperating the two things. God made a covenant with the Jews and made Israel thier land, which is also part of that, God does not break covenants, can not do that, if God breaks this Covenant , even replacing it is breaking it, then that means God can also go back on Christians with Christ sacrifice and shedding of blood for our sin.

Israel is a nation once again for Gods people, the Jews. However people should not mix this up with mistaking this means saved people who will go to heaven! Christians are special to God of course we are, but we do not replace the Jews in ranking or standing with God. Most Jews will still die not beleiving or accepting the true CHrist, even right up at then end when they will reject Christ yet again and go and worship another false god, ie the antichrist.

If I make a legally binding contract that says that I will pay someone £10,000 a year, then I will pay each one of his children, and all thier decendants, £10,000 each per year, I have to keep to it, no matter how much the people I am paying hate me, they could spit in my face, call me names and mock me, but I still have to abide by my contract and promise, yes of course I could terminate it and put clauses in, but the contract God made with the Jews goes deeper than that, and one God will keep.

Replacement theology is born out of genuine racist hatred for the Jews, Hitler for example, who was supposed to be a Christian. It is an unnecessary evil that is dangerous, racist and hateful.

I think this is the point of contention.

Many think we believe God chose to bless them while they are in sin and reject their messiah, This is not the case.

Who is Israel?

The OT tells us.

The sons of abraham, Issac and jacob (then his 12 sons). All prophesies tell us this, I will remember my covenant with YOUR fathers. Whose fathers? The 3 above.

Paul tells us.

They were cut off. Gentiles were grafted in.

They are blinded in part

God will save a remnant

One day, ALL Israel (non gentile) will be saved.

Are you so unfaithful of God that you do not think he KNOWS who these people are? It does not matter if I know who they are, God knows. Thats enough for me.

To Bride, I wish we all would declared our doctrinal positions before making posts so everyone would know "Where" we are coming from. I think it would solve much confusion. I hate the practice of chat rooms throwing people out because of their position. But on the other hand, I think it would clear up a lot of unintentional deception. Sorry, I have to assume that you, Bride, are Jewish, Which is OK, with me, BUT, your positions against Jesus and the New T. ,are not accepted with me, BUT, I love you as one for who JESUS loved and died for. Love to all, Hoffco
HOW DARE YOU SAY SUCH A LIE THAT I HAVE A POSITION AGAINST JESUS EVER. You LIAR! You OWE ME AN APOLOGY.

There is NOTHING done without Jesus being the FULFILLMENT. NOTHING.
TRY TO PAY ATTENTION HERE IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT I SAY.
AND IT IS THE TOTAL GLORY OF JESUS.

I have made my position clear from the beginning. Go back and read all the scriptures I have posted sir if you want to know "where I am coming from".

I come from God Sir.
The SCRIPTURES I POST PROVE THAT SIR.
JESUS Is My Husband.
I AM His Bride.
(Rev 22:17)
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

If you know Jesus, you will know me.

The Words I give you are God's Words sir. I do not, as some here, EVER give a carnal opinion about the Word of God.
As God is my witness, I am as a Clear City you see and know EXACTLY WHO I am by the WORD OF GOD WHICH I GIVE YOU. My AVATAR also is a clue.
My intro is a clue in my profile.
I'll continue posting the Word of God So you can get to know me better. I'm not interested in a man who can't control his argumentative carnal attempts to bicker and you've done that more than once and not only with just me here. YOU HAVE BEEN REBUKED. YOU ARE RUDE TO OTHERS. So lay a hand on your mouth.
You know when a Saint speaks, because they simply Just lay out the Word of God. That is what we do. And that blows your mind. You try to stereotype and peg us so you can know which argument to bloviate with. All tools of Satan. Save it. We aren't interested in what you think anything "means", that part is taken care of if you just read the Word of God and put away your tools of bickering.
I am sorry if you have so much trouble knowing who a person is who delivers the Pure Word of God. Such a person gives you trouble stereotyping you said...Ok, so you say. But man's opinions are just lies. Mine included. That's why I don't give opinions or listen to them. I'm just not interested.
I got plenty of antichrist opinions from my Jewish family when I was raised and you sound just like them when I accepted Christ. Just like them. And I don't put up with any more of that antichrist crap in my life thank you. And there are plenty antichrist opinions here in this thread and so many others on this forum it is so sad. So just know to read and learn and not argue sir and we will be good. If you want brownie points, click "like" when someone posts the word of God. Don't argue. mmmkay?
I'm not here to argue or represent one of your ideas for you to argue against. I hope we are clear on this.

Now... which Bible verse that I posted did you have a question about?

Was it this scripture that says the promises to Israel and the Covenant to Abraham is fulfilled in the New Testament in Christ? Or do you already accept this truth? The antichrists here hate this following Holy Writ;'

(Luk 1:54)
He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;
(Luk 1:55)
As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

A "yes that is true" or a "no it is not true". eternal grace says this scripture isn't true. How about you?

Remember, I asked for no opinions. Those don't matter. A man of God doesn't volunteer those. An acknowledgement that scriptures are true will be a first step for me thinking you might be a Christian.

What does this "ALL" mean, as you see it? Maybe we see this differently. I can't see any other way to interpret that than to mean, "all" of God's elect, or "all" of the jewish remnant. It cannot mean literally "all" of all jews who ever lived or ever will live, it cannot also mean literally "all" of every jew living at a certain moment, as there are jews who will remain in unbelief.

I believe it says what it says, at that time in himan history. All jews will be saved, why?

1. they repent.
2. They admit their mistake
3. They recieve her messiah
4. Jesus comes to earth physically and sets up his throne in jerusalem.

what it is not. (i agree)

all isreal who ever lived.
anyone who rejected or rejects christ as savior, and ever did. Saying he is king will not save you, you have to say he is savior, and accept his gift,

This is the part of this debate over Scripture that is being left off or ignored ~

[SUB]Rom 11:17-24

[/SUB]And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among THEM,

and with them partakest of the root and fatness of THE olive tree;

[SUB]
Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.

[/SUB]
[SUB] Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith.

[/SUB]
[SUB]
Be not highminded, but fear:
For if God spared not the "natural": branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

[/SUB]
[SUB]
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness,

IF thou continue in His goodness: otherwise thou 'also' shalt be cut off.

[/SUB]
[SUB]And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
[us Gentiles are not grafted in "Again" but just grafted in]

[/SUB]
[SUB] For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is WILD by nature, and wert graffed "contrary to nature" into a GOOD olive tree:

how much more shall these, which be THE NATURAL BRANCHES, be graffed into their OWN olive tree?

The Reformed/Calvinistic Churches failed to look closely at their Augustinian presuppositions when it came to eschatology.
