Answer: Start a conversation about Christ.
Okay, I admit that is a little extreme, but you have to see where I'm going with this? Why is it that when I'm around Christians - the LAST thing they want to talk about is Christ? Football, the weather, entertainment bibble-babble seems to take over most chats. I understand that in this life, we meet all sorts of Christians in different parts of their walk- but NEVER want to chat about Him? I also understand that many Christians can be sensitive, and stand firm to their doctrine-but absolutely NO attempt at intellectual banter? This saddens me. Even the people who claim to be "Followers"- cut our texts short when I start up a note about God? I have gone to many different Bible study groups in my years, and somehow the conversation always leads back to the latest Hollywood flick.
Are we in trouble?
Any thoughts?
