To explain and not to debate (i.e. to disagree)

First, it is common knowledge that people can say they are half this and half that in relation to race. For example: A person can say they are Cherokee and it would be correct to say that if they are.
Second, Jews did not have dealings with the Samaritans.
Jesus says salvation is of the Jews. Meaning she was not a full Jew.
The woman saith unto him,
"Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
Jesus saith unto her,
"Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews." (John 4:19-22)
Yet the woman at the well claimed that Jacob was her father (i.e. descendant or great great great... grand-father).
"Art thou greater than our father Jacob, ... ?" (John 4:12)
