I'm so glad that I did, because if I were him and in that condition, I wouldn't want to be alone either. We were so busy taking care of my brother that we kinda skipped the usual big Christmas Eve dinner. We postponed it for lunch today..but I'm supposed to be the one cooking which means no time for me to nap! Merry Christmas everyone... *yawns*

You're a good sister! My sis is struggling financially and so I paid for her oil tank to be filled so she could have heat the rest of the winter! I didn't tell her I did it though so it will be a nice surprise!Anywho, good luck cooking your meal save us the left overs!! :)

Christmas eve......we all pile in the truck to have dinner at my daughters in laws house......
As we all sat down to dinner.....sitting to the side of the table as we all got quiet and asked...
who would like to bless the table........Sadie baby yells out.....thank you God...amen........
everyone laughed.....she was so great last night......love that kid...

I made a lovely (do I have to surrender my man card using that term?) batch of homemade eggnog to take to my folks house today. It was thick and creamy (not slimey) just as it is supposed to be.

On a side note, the local news station broadcast some Christmas video from down under. Something just seems inherently wrong seeing people at the beach wearing Santa caps.

lol! It is. It's also a band which I'm not proud to say I liked at one point. Then they started degrading women and themselves, just like every other boy band...

I know One Direction. I just don't like "boy bands" so I was trolling you. ;)


Now that the Christmas-bashing is over, our dear peeps in the BD forum have started bashing New Year. Can someone give me a restraining order against entering the BD forum?
