also, i have had some contact with arwen, and i think she is doing o.k. she had no plans to return when we touched bases near the end of the year, but i'm not sure if she'll reconsider that or not.
I think I was on hiatus or something the last time she left. What happened this time?

I feel like as a cruel joke, gas stations add additional questions before you get to pump your gas in the winter.

1.) Credit or Debit?
2.) Would you like to save an additional $.05 using your debit card?
3.) Loyalty Card?
4.) Would you like to use your $.20 off?
5.) Would you like a Car Wash?

Meanwhile, I'm waiting at the pump like...

Aaaaah, winter. The time where no matter what I do, my hands almost always crack and bleed every year.

The gamble for me with lotions is, it'll either help my hands or make them worse, and sometimes the lotion that helped yesterday won't help me tomorrow.

A friend I was IMing on Skype with told me I should use Vaseline. I tried telling them Vaseline never worked and made my hands worse. However, due to Tue fact technology is so advanced and intelligent, it knew what I was trying to say better than I did, and it changed Vaseline to gasoline! *facepalm* I don't think I've made a worse typo in my life. But we got a pretty good laugh outta it.

You know you're sick when bobbing your head to music is making you exhausted.

-also-

you know your internet connection is crap when restarting a page takes less time than refreshing it.

I may be going on a road trip with some friends for summer vacation. We are probably going to go out west and do some hiking, either in May or August.

I had planned on getting healthier this year anyway, but this is definitely motivation. They are all super fit, so I'm definitely going to be the one slowing them down, even if I do manage to get more fit in the next few months. I think they'll understand, I'll just probably feel like I'm dying most of the time trying to keep up with even a slower pace. I haven't had an "away from home" vacation in 2 years, though, and I've never seen the Grand Canyon or Zion Nationa Park (at least two of the places we'd go) so I'm excited, if this works out. :)

Autocorrect strikes again....due to THE fact. Not Tue fact. If it weren't for the fact I fat finger every other word with this keyboard I'd turn the autocorrect feature off.

I've used Vaseline overnight on my feet. You just put a thin layer on and then put on socks. In the morning, my feet were soft and felt more hydrated. I hate sleeping with socks, though, so I ended up kicking them off about half an hour after I put them on...you could maybe try that with your hands and gloves?

Another option, while I have never used it myself but have heard others say they've used it, is udder cream/lotion. Not sure the exact brand they had or where you can buy it, it's basically salve/lotion that people put on cows' udders so they don't get dry and crusty and crack when they need to be milked. I've heard of people using it on their hands and having it really help.

:)

Right. Cordial and civil. No hitting below the belt. No stomping on toes. If any eyes are gouged out they must be handed back to the proper owner after the fight is over.

*shakes Paul's hand*

We keep it cordial and civil tomorrow, yeah?
I can do that :) I'm ready for this game to happen already.

Also, if Luke Willson is beating you that badly, you don't deserve to win a playoff game. Sorry, Carolina.

Whether Dallas or Green Bay, Seattle is more than ready for a return to the Super Bowl.

They're playing well, but I like either team's chances of beating Seattle in the NFC Championship. Seattle will get a better game out of either of them than what Carolina gave them.
