Drivel. I haven't been on this website for 24 hours, Ken, that's why I haven't replied. I'm not Muslim, nor am I Christian.

I can't claim to know if the teachings in the Koran are the true words of Allah, because the idea of an omniprescent metaphysical creator itself can't be tested in any tangible and logical way. You'd have to show me undeniable proof a creator God even exists before I could even begin to mount evidence in order to make that claim.
So you deny the existence of God?

If so, it explains a lot ...

Yes. More specifically it is Isis; the Egyptian goddess which worshiped the Babylonian Semiras.. She has been called the "mother of all gods [abominations]" and the "courtesan [harlot] of the gods". Islam is the current religion that still practices the worship of a meteorite. Allah came from the Arabian goddess, Allat. Allat was an incarnation of Diana and Astarte; Roman versions of Isis. Though her name has changed since Babylon and Egypt, she is still the same today. You can see Isis worshiped in every empire that has existed since the 1st. When Muhammad conquered Arabia and destroyed all of the idols, the idols of Isis were the only not destroyed and then worshiped to this day by Islam. Islam is the only religion today that still worships the image of the first beast (empire); the black stone.

That's not true. The Arabic word for ''God'' is Allah, and the word Jesus used in Aramaic for ''God'' is ''h'lah'', pronounced almost exactly the same. It's a multilingual word for the God of the Abrahamic religions.

... and the word Jesus used in Aramaic for ''God'' is ''h'lah'', pronounced almost exactly the same.
That's the real lie. The only Aramaic attributed to Jesus is "Eloi! Eloi! Lama Sabachthani?" -- "My God! My God" What have You forsaken Me?" The word for "God" used there being "El" as it is in Hebrew. All other references to God in quotes attributed to Jesus are in Greek and are almost exclusively θεός, which is rendered phonetically as "Theos."

I deny that the existence of God is a foregone conclusion. We can't prove God exists like we can't prove ghosts exist. All evidence taken into account, they both seem to be projections of various human emotions and desires; fear, the desire to dominate, the desire for purpose -- facilitated by the development of conscious thought itself. God is a necessary podium upon which humans who need comfort from the reality of impermanence might place their own fears, anxieties and desires; God is an entity who can be an exterior arbiter of force whom humans can endow with all authority, to give some idea of consistency and of destiny to a life that is otherwise, for such people, an unbearably impermanent and relative phenomena.

Nature has led to an entity within nature which can study both itself and the nature that led to its existence, and because of that humans live with an uneasy capability for self-realization that religion explains away as part of our destined purpose. Such an expanation strokes the ego; it appeals to the selfishness innate in humans, it agrees with the human tendency to think that humanity is so important on some cosmic scale. Ultimately, humans need to project these desires in order to give them meaning; to give a sense of eternal purpose to our existences because the idea of death as the end of life conflicts with the immortality that humans cling to above all else. Our greatest biological urge is for survival, our greatest mental capacity is for furthering our survival, and so it is no surprise that the ultimate goal in the most prominent world religion is to gain an eternal life.

That, I think, explains a lot.

The word is found in Deuteronomy, Chronicles, Nehemiah, Daniel and Ezra.

''Elowhay'', ''El'wha'', ''All'wah'', ''H''lah'', they're all dialectic Hebrew and Aramaic pronunciations for the God of the same book.

Proof you don't really have a grasp of the word. The first word you list there is actually a phonetic of "My God" and the actual word "God" is "El." "El'wha" is a ham-fisted rendering of Yahwah -- either that or a really bad spelling of the former Denver quarterback/currect director of football operations' last name. The others are not related to God at all.

The only place the word phonetically rendered " 'h'lah" -- which you don't even list here -- is found is in Ezra, which is understandable, since he was raised among the captives in Assyria and would have learned the word there. That doesn't make it the name of God, it makes a mere reference for God, and does nothing to show that God and "Allah" are the same -- which in fact, they are not. Allah ia demon under the guidance of Satan.

You probably think that because you don't understand the passage you quoted in that post. It is not, as you supposed, a "tweak."

The translation to the Greek, resulting in the phrase υἱός בֵּית loses nothing from the original Aramaic idiom. It denotes an incredible combination of warm zeal and fervency for a cause, and courage in opposing the enemies of that cause and/or it's progenitor -- in this case all those qualities dedicated to Christ.

It's a real shame you didn't know that, because you just gave the "over 40 crowd" a huge compliment I suspect you didn't intend. Thank you.
I will re-post here again so you can get a good look
Mark 9:28-29New International Version (NIV)

28 After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
29 He replied, “This kind can come out only by prayer you idiots.”

If you let slack the reigns of your hubris you may catch a view of the scenery...
You should go back and read the verse. Clearly you did not. You not only completely missed the point of the post, you didn't even see the change I made to the verse to prove the point. You've actually managed to do just now the exact thing I detailed in the post and insult me wholeheartedly in the process. Bravo sir....bravo. I applaud the reckless abandon in which you swing your ego. You have managed quite a bit of collateral damage.

I don't even know what to feel about this right now other then sadness at your hubris. I've seen nothing from you since you have started posting other then a very coiled up and offensive ''christian''. I don''t what the domino before you was like but clearly it felled you in a apocalyptic manner. I hope you get your emotional landscape mended, I really do, because you are knocking over the rest of them with gusto.

This post here as indeed woken me up to something and that something is the poison seeping from so called christians.
I wish you weren't the real enemy. I really do, but you are just a completely unreasonable fellow. I wish there was some way to get through to you that you are doing more damage than good.

YES< YES< YES. ISIS (Syria, Iraq) and Iran eventually, is where it has started as foretold by John in Rev 13:1-3. However, I do believe the Man of Sin will arise from Turkey and ISIS will swear allegiance to him. There is a reason John was told to write a letter to the spirit/messenger of the 7 churches of Asia Minor. These churches were all in modern day Turkey. There were plenty of other churches in John's day in other places, such as Israel, Rome, Syria, etc who did not get letters. The dwelling place of Satan (Rev 2:13) is in Turkey so this is where Satan will arise as the "Man of Sin." Yes, Satan comes to earth as a man just as Christ did, but with super natural powers and lying wonders.

Radical Islam is now and will continue to hijack the religion and turn it from a peaceful to a fanatical killing machine. All those who refuse to accept Islam ("worship the image of the Beast") will be killed.

The word "ARAB" means "Mixed Peoples"
MECCA means, "Mother of all Settlements"
"Allahu Akbar" means God (Allah) is greatest

We find all of the above in prophesy.

Who will "God's wrath" be against? The Mixed People (Arabs) Jer 50:37
Who is the Mother of all Harlots, Babylon the Great? MECCA
What was Diana of Ephesus called? GREAT (Acts 19:28)

What do Muslims cry out? Allahu Akbar "Allah is Great"

Saudi Arabia will be over thrown. She is the land of Idols where the Harlot (MECCA) sits. Saudi Arabia is where the Children of Israel worshiped the golden calf and where Moses was given the 10 commandments.

Compare Jer 50:

[SUP]29 [/SUP]...Repay her according to her work;
According to all she has done, do to her;
For she has been proud against the Lord...

to Rev 18:6

[SUP]6 [/SUP]Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her.

This is a popular but disproven interpretation of the passage, but it is as I've said, wrong. But thanks for reiterating it so I can address this.

Deliberately adding to the word of God for whatever misguided purpose you have is strictly and specifically warned against in the Bible. There is no logical or even illogical reason for anyone to think Jesus was thinking the words you have so rashly and inexplicably added here. The hubris is yours, to your shame. The anger -- as expressed by the poorly-thought-out addition of "you idiots" -- is yours, to your condemnation.

Matthew 5, NASB
22 "But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca, ' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.”

If we were to accept your "view" then we would have to accept that Jesus committed sin and has placed Himself in danger of the very hellfire He prounced on those who use such language. Your post is now totally discredited, so I'll be moving on. God bless.

And you think it is I who have the ego problem? Interesting ...

What do you call going around carelessly adding words to Biblical passages for the purpose of making a point? It is a point, to be sure, regarding "poisonous Christians" but you seem to be just as much one yourself as the accusations you go flinging around the forum here.

By the way, you might want to read my profile. It might intrigue you.

You still miss the point, but I can tell you have set such a strong defense against me that you cannot learn anything. Perhaps if you read others responses in the thread you will understand. I obviously cannot get through to you.

It intrigues me in a frightful way for sure. Good fortune in all you do sir.

Sirk, you base your beliefs off the seed-writings of an original script written nearly 3 milennia ago by and unknown author in the Middle East somewhere, a script which is full of unsubstantiated, untestable, unverifiable claims. The world looks at YEC'ers and laughs, because it's absolute nonsense. The majority of Christians don't even believe such drivel.

Written by 40 some authors in different times zones and eras... yet are in complete congruence with each other. I love how you assume things......and then based on your assumption, act as tho you have made some elaborate, impenetrable point. Such is the brain of an atheist I suppose.

It is true. It is a historical fact. When Muhammad destroyed all of the idols in Arabia, he saved the Kaaba and the black stone. Both the Kaaba and the black stone were in Arabia before Muhammad arrived there and they were both idols to Allat. You don't have to be a history major to learn about this. You can simply wikipedia the name "Allat".

Allah is the foreign god of the final and mighty king of Persia in Daniel 11.

By the way, just an FYI for everyone...

You cannot ask a Muslim if they are Muslim and draw a conclusion from that.
While the holy scriptures tell us that we are to not deny Christ and to walk in the light of the truth, the Qu'ran tells followers to lie and deceive for the purpose of Allah. I had a number of Muslims tell me that they will often lie about being Muslim while converting. Just thought you all should know you can't say, "See? They are not a Muslim because they said so." Uh... no, it isn't like that. They are allowed to deny their faith for the purpose of deception.
