John 11:35King James Version (KJV)
35 Jesus wept.
well I think I might be in part to blame? Because I was trying to be a funny...but I was still trying to make a point. The men in my life who have been the places of strength and stability was not men who cried...and most of the Godly men I know now are not emotional but very steady in how they deal with the issue of this life...Yes we cry in the presence of Our God and we all understand the effect Gods love has on our heart...but in general as it relates to life issues and representing ourselves to our family and others we show a stability apart from a lot of emotionalism that seems to help others?Mitspa: The reason I suggest starting over with a clear statement of your position is because in your last few posts you seemed to be admitting you cry if the situation is extreme (which is understandable, quite) but your last few posts seem in direct contravention of previous posts from you. I have to admit I'm currently confused as to what exactly you believe about this.
You know that friend that visits, but then never realizes that he has worn out his welcome and he should leave? Mitspa is that friend.
Mitspa: Well that makes a lot more sense. That I can understand. But really, from most of your posts we really did get the impression you were deriding any man who cried at any time. And... well it didn't look at all like you were joking.well I think I might be in part to blame? Because I was trying to be a funny...but I was still trying to make a point. The men in my life who have been the places of strength and stability was not men who cried...and most of the Godly men I know now are not emotional but very steady in how they deal with the issue of this life...Yes we cry in the presence of Our God and we all understand the effect Gods love has on our heart...but in general as it relates to life issues and representing ourselves to our family and others we show a stability apart from a lot of emotionalism that seems to help others?

Its well known that babies fake crying to get attention...I think some of you just like the attention ...![]()
I wonder if it is manly for men to cry.
Personally, I think it is okay for men to cry once in a while when things get difficult. Men also have emotions. They also deal with problems, frustrations, losses, disappointments and pain. Hence, I feel that it is okay for them to cry.
What do you guys think about this?
Question for the women:
Do you think it is unmanly for men to cry?
If someone you know very well cries, how would you react? (Comfort him, leave him alone, smack him across his face, etc.)
Question for the men:
Do you think it is unmanly for men to cry?
How would you react if your guy friend/brother cries? (Step away awkwardly, pretend you don't know him, comfort him, etc.)
On a personal note, have you ever cried recently? (Feel free to ignore this question if it is too sensitive for you)
PM me your address and it could be arranged.......but I will take a loaf of white or wheat I don't do sour dough only sour cream in the Banana bread.....lol

What do you mean it doesn't belong here? She doesn't do sourdough? That's worth crying over!![]()
Of course she may be thinking about the "sourdough" that they sell at Wal-Mart. That stuff is an abomination in the sight of God and man. Or she might have tried a loaf of "sourdough" that was made from packaged yeast. I swear, the things some people do to save time - and it comes out all wrong, and frankly tastes bad.
Now if she has had real sourdough, and still thinks it is not good... yeah, that would be something to cry over.![]()
LOL Yea if I didn't think I had a valid point I probably would... My father never cried..but he loved...and it sounds like some others know the kind of man I am speaking about? Men who you really don't ever know of them crying...But they are good men and know love...and I have seen some that cry at everything and are really monsters...so crying in itself is not evidence of the goodness in a mans heart.
Look im not saying there is no place fro a man to cry some tears ..but this idea that men should cry all the time is just not making any sense to me? And the men I know would think something odd about a fellow like this...like maybe he had some sugar in his tank...if you know what I mean?
