Yes, you're right, my sister. Mitspa.

The true "movie" will be seen in heavens: He acted like a dictatorial leader, those days, and later on, He changed.
Read the passage, count the ones who followed Him, and think why He had to pray and fast to get those 12: He needed to know those GOD had appointed and Peter, a strong man, showed the one he was when he cried for help at that storm:
Mat 14:30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, "Lord, save me."
Mat 14:31 Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"
Was Peter new to the sea (a lake 40 meters deep)?
A strong man, like Pete, cried when he denied his own and personal friend.
Luk 22:61 And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the saying of the Lord, how he had said to him, "Before the rooster crows today, you will deny me three times."
Luk 22:62 And he went out and wept bitterly.
Again, a strong man like Pete, did the same (inside him, in secrecy):
Joh 21:17 He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep.
Show US where any person here, women or men, is promoting a crying baby or a whining man?
It is only you who assumed that, from the beginning.
You guys need to grow up. People are going to see things and say things that you don't like. It seems some of you think being a baby is a good thing?Yes, you're right, my sister. Mitspa.

Peter was in error... that's the point! He was not being brave and strong like the Lord. That's why he sank. And again this idea that its right for men to be emotional like a woman is very unhealthy and will hinder a man's spiritual ability to take his place as a man in the things of God..if your not doing or saying that? Good but the point still needs to be made.
Exactly ...look at Jesus He was a strong and yet gentle...He was not one to get caught up in the emotions of a storm or to fall into weeping when things didn't go His way... He most favorite term was "fear not" and "have faith".... He was and acted like a man...not like some of you fellows on this thread who seem to be caught up in your emotions and cry if the wind blows.
So really this is the issue of what I see some are trying to do on this thread; it seems some are unwilling to accept the biblical position and difference God has made between the place of the man and the place of a woman... its a rebellious spirit in a woman that rejects these truths...and no man should submit to this nonsense that men and women are the same.

Frankly, looking at the way this post started, I had thought you might have found some clarity in backpedaling to a more reasonable position, similar to the one the rest of us have take. To my dismay, this was not the case.
Where is it stated by any man that we are getting caught up and crying when the wind blows?
That is because it is a lie. You're not attacking us, with your faulty argument. If you were some angry 16 year old teenager, I might give you a pass. But supposedly you are a decorated gulf war veteran, and I would have had some vain hope that you could get over yourself.
I can see your Jesus now, "ACT LIKE MEN YOU FRUITCAKES!!! THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN ISN'T FULL OF NANCYBOYS!!!"
Oh wait, that's because he said "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."
No one is saying that women and men are the same. That is some line of reasoning you've invented to paint your detractors. Physical strength is not a measure of value or character in a person. It is not something to be exploited or rooted out. Women are our peers, our co-pilots, our teammates, our accomplices and our lovers. Envisioning them as some compromised lesser creature, comparing a mourning man to the opposite sex, makes you a Misogynist.
You seem to have this vision of what a man ought to be or ought to look like. It isn't Biblical, it isn't David, Jesus, Paul, Abraham, Moses or Elijah.
Because of your own skewed view of Manhood, I'm going to leave a quote here and I want you to really look at it. Not in the way that the movie portrays it but in what its actually saying.
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."
Some of you fellows on this thread need a good dose of boot camp... the first time your instructor calls you Nancy boy And you start crying. You will see how much they think of your emotional outburst. At some point you guys are going to have to leave the pretend world of the chat rooms and make a living for your families. You better dump this idea that crying is the way to handle the issues of this life.

I'm guessing you are completely unaware of the fact that several of the men here who are posting replies to you are actually military veterans themselves as well.
So yes, they actually HAVE been through boot camp.
And apparently, they made it through just fine.
I won't list names because that is their business and up to them to mention it publicly, but please keep in mind that you are not some lone wolf in the forums, and that there are several here who have served both God and country in this thread, or come from families with members who have done so.
the only person I see whining like a baby is mitspa, because no one will agree with his position.
