this is not about judging...according to your doctrine if at any point of his life he was saved... that sin is already forgiven....now you are saying he must account for his actions and answer to God for what he has done.......his sins are already forgiven what actions are you talking about...the Guy had the confidence to write a letter showing his belief...why would you think he is pretending....
As difficult as that is for you to accept it is the truth. If he was a believer he has to account for what he has done since he was saved to Christ Who saved him. If he was not saved but only pretending and deceiving himself then he will account to the Father before the GWT judgment.

The heart of man is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked who can know it? Jer 17:9

This is the paradox that you get into when you attempt to play God and judge the salvation of another.

not them that are his sons.
acts 15. how can you repent from a law that was never given to you,

and

how can you follow the full law given to moses without a temple(of stone)

28 For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law.29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,30 since God is one---who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.Romans 3

justified , one by faith(jewish)

one through faith (gentiles)

two ways to get justified .

sin needs a law. ware do you get your sin from. because paul is talking again about two different peoples.

again answer why Ethiopian Eunuch and conelius never repented.

Nowhere does Scripture state that God behaves differently in the Old Testament versus the New Testament. He is still the same God. The Covenants do not rule God's behavior. God merely made the different covenants to have them point to each other. Primarily the Old points to the New. But both Covenants point to Jesus Christ. Also, Just because something is not mentioned in the Scriptures does not mean it is not true. We fill in the gaps based on what the rest of Scripture says; And we know from the Old Testament that God can leave people because of sin. Why do you think it is different now? Yes, I am aware of the seal verse. But I believe that passage is being taken out of context by OSAS proponents. Besides, seals are not a padlock in Scripture. Thru out Scripture, seals have been broken several times.
the dont point to jesus.
you have to believe in jesus.
if both covenant were the same why would jesus need to die, to start the new covenant. etc
the jewish people that excepted jesus and some that never.
hence a change of covenant.

it was the believers of jesus, that took the word forward.
Isaiah 43:
Israel's Only Savior
[SUP]18 "Remember not the former things,
nor consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.
[/SUP]
[SUP]28 Therefore I will profane the princes of the sanctuary,
and deliver Jacob to utter destruction
and Israel to reviling.
[/SUP]

[SUP]16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

You fail to understand that even a saved child of God will answer for the things done and said as in the LOSS or gain of rewards...the condemnation of the law is not leveled against the SAVED as they are eternally secure in Christ...His OSAS doctrine is valid even though you are blind to it..........!

I see more fluff balls and heresy from those who teach you can loose salvation.......

Salvation and eternal life are a once for all act...it is the spirit that is born of God, does not sin and bears witness with the Holy Spirit that we are the sons of God......for those who believe you can loose it....let me guess you have maintained a perfect walk without sin since you trusted and have never fallen and if you say you have sinned then you will cook for all eternal ages as Hebrews states it is IMPOSSIBLE to gain, loose and then regain salvation.......your ability to keep yourself saved will take you straight to the PIT as you never trusted into Christ to begin with, but rather your own selves and your own abilities......

Eternal means eternal not temporary and you turn the word of God into a lie by your heretical dogma!
I wander what Rev 3:5 means ,
He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will NOT blot out his name from the book of life; but I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.?God bless.

So there is a "condition" to identifying a true believer then? It seems like you are saying that. Do you realize that there are OSAS proponents would not agree with you on this? For they believe they can sin like the devil and still be saved because their belief on Jesus saves them. Is that not what you are also pushing on some level, too? If I am wrong. Please explain it to me. Tell me, what sins are acceptable to God? Surely you have said here that the sin of not forgiving others is not acceptable to God. Can a believer live in sin (Such as hate, murder, lust, theft, idolatry, and drunkenness, etc.) and still be saved? Are these other sins acceptable to you? Or no? I am just trying to determine what you believe. For there are other OSAS proponents out there who believe they can sin and still be saved.

I'm beginning to think you are obsessive and delusional. You keep saying:

For they (OSAS) believe they can sin like the devil and still be saved because their belief on Jesus saves them.
Yet you cannot show one person in this forum, let alone elsewhere who actually says this.

When I quote Scriptures on repentance, you ignore them. You have your own definitions of repentance, salvation, and you have added GREATLY to soteriology with your own special classifications

NO ONE repeat NO ONE, who believes in eternal security believes that they can continue to sin after they are saved!!

Sin grieves everyone who is born of the Spirit. It is something the Holy Spirit works on in our hearts, minds and lives.

I believe God saved me from May of 1980, and he has never let me go in that whole time. No matter what I said or did.

But I have also become more and more aware of sin in my life, confessed, repented and turned away from it.

"Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, [SUP]20 [/SUP]that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, [SUP]21 [/SUP]whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago." Acts 3:19-21

gentiles were never thought about as being people that god would save at this point in time,(acts 2 and 3) till cornelius act 10

paul was not coverted to acts 9 etc

The bolded above is the predominate argument that those who teach you can loose your salvation will throw out, because the truth of eternal security is evident and they like to believe in their works or their righteous walk which helps keep them save or earns them salvation....they consistently chunk that lie out and when called on it will not produce one shred of evidence and or will post some stupid video of one lone whack job who claimed eternal security and then went on to murder somebody.......

Funny how it always comes back to the blood. Y'all call me crazy, but when you get to debating it falls back to the blood of the Lamb. This cross preacher preaches the cross, chase your rabbit trails if you want to they all lead to the cross or self righteousness.

the maybe was not in doubt of seeing God but in the time....maybe soon...more like sooner or later...because he shows his confidence by saying" I will see" and "Christ paid for EVERY sin, so how can I or you be judged BY GOD for a sin when the penalty was ALREADY paid." and because soon I will see them........your defence is poor...his word are proof he believed in ES
"At least that is what I was told." ,right after "Maybe soon", clears it up for me, that he was unsure about what he was told and his own security.

anyhow you put it ...they sinned and are being punished for it(loss rewards)....and they have already been forgiven for all those....your doctrine makes no sense...why should a believer lose reward because of a sin he has been forgiven of...seems to me he is paying or that sin
