Exactly ...look at Jesus He was a strong and yet gentle...He was not one to get caught up in the emotions of a storm or to fall into weeping when things didn't go His way... He most favorite term was "fear not" and "have faith".... He was and acted like a man...not like some of you fellows on this thread who seem to be caught up in your emotions and cry if the wind blows.
The true "movie" will be seen in heavens: He acted like a dictatorial leader, those days, and later on, He changed.
Read the passage, count the ones who followed Him, and think why He had to pray and fast to get those 12: He needed to know those GOD had appointed and Peter, a strong man, showed the one he was when he cried for help at that storm:
Mat 14:30 But when he saw the wind,
he was afraid, and beginning to sink
he cried out, "Lord, save me."
Mat 14:31 Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"
Was Peter new to the sea (a lake
40 meters deep)?
A strong man, like Pete, cried when he denied his own and personal friend.
Luk 22:61 And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the saying of the Lord, how he had said to him, "Before the rooster crows today, you will deny me three times."
Luk 22:62 And
he went out and wept bitterly.
Again, a strong man like Pete, did the same (inside him,
in secrecy):
Joh 21:17 He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?"
Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep.
