The bible gives us a clear description of what the man of sin will do;

Matthew 24:15
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

2 Thessalonians 2:4
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Neither Nero or Titus did this, as Nero died in 68 AD and Titus did not even go into the temple nor did he want it destroyed. His soldiers disobeyed him and looted it by taking the temple items and disobeyed and destroyed it any way. So your 70 AD event fails to fulfill the AOD, as no man stood in the temple and claimed to be God. Plus another thing they punches a hole in the 70 AD AOD theory is the fact that the bible through the words of the Lord and a cross reference in Isaiah 66:7-8, is that Israel becoming a nation in one day happens first, which happened in 1948.....

There is no single man coming called "Antichrist" and there is no "Man of sin" coming to sit in a brick and mortar temple, for the temple of God is our bodies. People have been greatly deceived by carnally minded teachers. The man of sin will not be revealed to you, until the Son of man is revealed in you. The flesh must be removed from your minds so that you can see. Paul was speaking in a mystery, as does the Holy Spirit.

We are told in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;” The falling away mentioned here by Paul has to do with the saints of God being overcome by the lies and deception of the Devil, and by his spirit, which is the spirit of a lie. This spirit of a lie is also shown as the false prophet spirit which works in many (many deceivers.)

Paul was playing off the words of Jesus when he referred to “that man” and “son of perdition” in the above verse. But this is not to be misunderstood as a single individual man yet to come in the future, but rather it speaks of the
sin nature of man being raised back up again in the world, and also in the man-made church system. This is symbolized in the book of Revelation as the beast that comes up out of the bottomless pit, that was dead, but is being made alive again in the hearts and minds of many.

Notice how Jesus refers to a whole wicked generation as “a man” and “ that man” (like Paul said) here in Matthew 12:43-45 “When the unclean
spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
[SUP]44 [/SUP]Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.[SUP]45 [/SUP]Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.”

Now notice the wording Jesus used showing the “last state of that man” compared to Peters concerning this same falling away in 2 Peter 2:20-22 “For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.[SUP]22 [/SUP]But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.”

This being overcome is shown here in
Revelation 13:7 “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” So this spirit of deception and lies would also overcome the saints as is also confirmed here in Daniel 7:21 “I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;” That horn is the tail of the red Dragon, which speaks of the spirit of a lie working in all the world to practice and prosper and cast the truth and some of the host to the ground.

So was Paul talking about a single man, or a whole
wicked generation like Jesus said? Well if you read the whole chapter in 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
[SUP]12 [/SUP]That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

Clearly Paul is not speaking about an individual man. ( in them, they, they all)

Of the Daniels 70 weeks there is still 1 week left to be fulfilled, and when the man of sin makes that pact (treaty) it starts the 7 year period. He then breaks it in the middle and the final 3 1/2 years is the Great Tribulation period. The full 7 years is not going to be persecution of the saints and Christians. Only the last 3 1/2 years will be......

No such thing as a 7 year tribulation, or lost week, or a single individual person yet to come called the "man of sin"( but it speaks of a whole wicked generation) and the 42 months, or 3 and a half years is also symbolic of time, which can be proven by scripture. But here is why the 7 year trib theory is false.

Proving the 7 year tribulation doctrine is false.
It’s true that Daniel’s 70th week will last seven years (Dan. 9:24-27). Seventy (70) weeks of years were determined for the people of Israel (70×7=490 years), beginning from the command to rebuild Jerusalem, which was destroyed by the Babylonians, until the anointing of the Most Holy (Christ). However, Christ was cut off (crucified) after only 69 weeks (483 yrs), which left the 70th week or final seven years remaining to be fulfilled before He returns. These are what many say are the final seven years the world will witness just before the second coming of Christ, when the King of kings and Lord of lords returns with His saints to rule and reign on the earth for 1000 years, which is commonly known as the millennial Reign of Christ.

Now, since we know that Christ was, in fact, cut off after 69 weeks (483 yrs) according to Scripture, we also know that Daniel’s 70th week (final 7 yrs) must also be fulfilled. These final seven years must be fulfilled according to scripture; however, the same cannot be said of the so-called seven year tribulation. Although these two terms are commonly used interchangeably, they are not and cannot be the same thing. Just as there is no mention of a seven year tribulation anywhere in God’s word. There is simply no such thing. Now let me tell you why I believe this, then I’ll provide the scripture to support my claim.

There are two glaring contrasts here. The days of tribulation actually begin in the middle of Daniel’s 70th week (7 years), after the abomination of desolation, according to Scripture and most scholars agree. But not only does the tribulation begin at the mid-point of the final seven years, but scripture also tells us that the days of tribulation are cut short for the sake of the elect. Daniel’s 70th week (7 yrs), on the other hand, cannot be cut short at all, unless, of course, the prophet Daniel gave us a false prophecy, which is not even remotely possible. We know that Daniel could not have been a false prophet, because Christ, Himself, points back to Daniel’s prophecy in Matthew 24 and Mark 13.

Daniel 9:24-26
Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy. [25] So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress. [26]
Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.

In the passage above we see (7) sevens [49 yrs.], then another (62) sevens [434 yrs.], which equal 69 weeks or 483 years and then Christ was cut off, which leaves the final week or seven years, which is commonly known as Daniel’s 70th week remaining (see passage below). Also notice the abomination of desolation begins at the mid-point or middle of the final seven years.

Daniel 9:27
He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consumption, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Here’s more about the abomination of desolation in the passages below.

Daniel 11:31
And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

Now lets take a look at the abomination of desolation, along with the time remaining to the end:

Daniel 12:11-12
And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]
Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

Now here’s the kicker. From the passage of Scripture above, we can understand that Daniel’s 70th week will not be shortened at all. From the abomination of desolation in the middle of the seven years, we see not only the allotted 1260 days, 42 months and/or 3 1/2 years, but we also see an extension of 30 days (1290), with another addition of 45 days (1335) as well. Scripture is not clear as to what will happen during these two extensions, but it should be as plain as day that the days of Daniel’s 70th week will not and cannot be shortened at all, and that the end must come at the time appointed. However, the same cannot be said of the tribulation, which proves that the two are as different as night and day. Now let’s take a look at what the Bible has to say about the tribulation.

Matthew 24:14-22 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
[SUP]15[/SUP]When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand.) [SUP]16[/SUP]Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: [SUP]17[/SUP]Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: [SUP]18[/SUP]Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. [SUP]19[/SUP]And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! [SUP]20[/SUP]But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: [SUP]21[/SUP]For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. [SUP]22[/SUP]
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

In the passage above, Christ, Himself, is telling us that the tribulation will begin after the abomination of desolation occurs, at the mid-point of Daniel’s 70th week of seven years, just as Daniel said it would. It shows the same exact starting point, but there is something here that is also very different. The days of tribulation will be shortened for the sake of the elect, otherwise no flesh would be saved. This creates another problem for scholars assuming the tribulation is seven years in duration. And not only are the days shortened, but Christ also tells us that no one knows when the days of tribulation will be shortened, not Christ, nor the angels, but only His Father in heaven knows.

Two things are certain. The tribulation is not a seven year period of time and Daniel’s 70th week, which cannot be shortened. Furthermore, there is absolutely no mention anywhere in Scripture of a tribulation occurring before the abomination of desolation.

The Tribulation does not come upon the Jews only...

Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Carefully note, this does not say Jewish flesh, it says ALL flesh. There were Jews in Corinth, did they see the Great Tribulation?

Rev 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

The NKJV has...

Rev 3:10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

The Diaglott has...

Rev 3:10 because thou hast kept the word of the patience of me, also I thee will keep from the hour of the trial of that being about to come on the habitable whole, to try those dwelling on the earth.

This is not going to be localized in and around Jerusalem, it comes upon the WHOLE WORLD. What happened in 70AD was not the GREAT TRIBULATION.

2 tribulations, first to the Jew......which runs all the way to fullness of the Gentiles.....then 6th seal=God's Wrath poured out upon the whole world (Gentile tribulation).

Romans 2:9
Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

No such thing as a 7 year tribulation, or lost week, or a single individual person yet to come called the "man of sin"( but it speaks of a whole wicked generation) and the 42 months, or 3 and a half years is also symbolic of time, which can be proven by scripture. You need to be carefull..

Prophesy must be interpreted literally, or it is of no value to do what it was intended to do.

Jesus and the cross fulfilled prophesy literally, even up to the time (69 weeks) of daniels prophesy. if all up to that time was interpreted literally, then all which follows ust follow the same guideline.

ie, if the 69 weeks were literal weeks. the 70th week must also be literal.

The word of God is spoken in a mystery, similitudes, proverbs, parables, symbolisms etc. That is why the carnally minded man cannot understand what the Spirit is saying in it.

1 Corinthians 2:7
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Those who are of the flesh, and of the world cannot receive our testimony.

John 14:17
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

And by the way, the 70 weeks of Daniel was also a sign of time, not a literal 70 week period, but 490 years. :)

490 years is a literal 70 weeks. just told in a different way

It was how they told time in the hebrew day.

Do you study much? it was not symbolic of anything, it was a literal term signifying literal years.

Watch how you think things, you will convince yourself they are right.

Prophesy is to prove God is the one God of heaven, as apposed to the pagan Gods of the world.

A pagan God can not say this will happen in 400 years, and it happen, not only when, but how it happens.

If we spiritualise prophesy, Nostrodomus must be a man who speaks from God, because God is no better of a prophet than he is.

A prophetic word says something will happen. If it happens, it is from God, if not, It is not from God, that is how we expose false prophets.

Jesus himself gave is this test.

Deuteronomy 18:22
when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

we can not symbolise prophesy, if we did, we can make God say anything we want him to say, Only a literal interprettion fits a prophesy of God.

Dude, a literal 70 weeks is 490 days, not years, do you study much? 70 weeks was to be spiritually discerned as a sign of time, not days but years= 490 years.

No it just means the natural man cannot hear what the Spirit is saying, this also says the Lord. 1 Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

You are looking at things only from a Christian perspective, and fail to realize that the Jews want the temple rebuilt.
And the bible gives a prophecy on the rebuilding of the temple. First you have Revelation 11 which shows a rebuilt temple, and then you have the prophecy in Ezekiel of the millennial temple. More than once the bible speaks of an actually physical man both in the old and new testaments that will rise to power leading the revised Roman empire. That Roman empire is rising again inside the European union.
The deception is believing what you have been taught that there is no coming man of sin, as the bible clearly points to one as the prophecies speak of the kingdoms that come into play in the last days and the one figure that will lead them. The European union is working on right now setting up their system to have one main leader over all their countries.

Dude, a literal 70 weeks is 490 days, not years, do you study much? 70 weeks was to be spiritually discerned as a sign of time, not days but years= 490 years.

When given in prophecy a prophetic week is 7 years.
Its that simple, so if you have 69 weeks that have been fulfilled that would mean you still have one prophetic week to be fulfilled. So yes there is still a full 7 years left to fulfill, and that 7 years is not split up, shortened, or stretched out for almost 2,000 years.

EG my friend, here is a very appropriate scripture for the circumstance...

2Pe 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

"the fruits," man! ( Christ On How To check. "some might have blurred vision, still.)
"sometimes you might come across a Blessing man," ok. (to not to be afraid there.)
Praise Be To The Lord.

you have not studied hebrew culture have you?

nor the scripture (from what I am seeing)

70 weeks of years (70 X 7)

again, I suggest you study history, culture and the word of God, all are required for proper hermenuetics.

No it just means the natural man cannot hear what the Spirit is saying, this also says the Lord. 1 Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

so are you a natural man?

I am talking about prophey, If I tell you God told me to prophesy that you will die in 5 days, and you die, people know I spoke from God, if you do not die, then I am a false prophet.

stick to the context will you not? or is that too hard?

Your looking at things with your eyes, (eyes of flesh) so you cannot see the spiritual things of God. God's temple is in heaven, not on earth, and it is not built by the hands of any man. The man of sin speaks of the spirit working in man, he is the spirit of covering "covering cherub" who has blinded the minds of men (heart and mind of beast). When Christ enters into a man, the vail of the flesh (carnal mind) is removed....then you'll see the "man of sin" being revealed in all of mankind (wicked generation)

Those who are of the beast, also have the mind of the natural brute beast, and cannot see the spiritual things of God.

Jude 1:10
But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
