yes. in order for anyone to keep on the path of righteousness we must hide them from music forever. unless its bagpipes lol
I have been led to believe that it is wrong to play musical instruments in church.

That awkward moment when you are looking at colleges and then you figure out one of them is located in the town of one of your favorite fictional tv shows....and is an actual city in real life.

So the coworker I take to work was working four hours today. I needed to reload on chocolate at Aldi anyway, so I popped up to Jackson instead of going home. I took my own sweet time and wandered around a few places. Stopped by the Goodwill and picked up some christian music I have no idea if I will like, but at the price if I like one I still come out ahead. Tried a new sushi place I had never been to before - must go there again. Soon. Too bad Jackson is so far away, I'd go there for lunch every other day. Hmm, maybe it's a good thing for my wallet that Jackson is so far away...

I also found some wilkinson sword three-blade razors, six bucks for an 8 pack. One lasts me a week and I got six 8 packs, so that's almost a year of shaving for about $40 tax and all. Not bad.

I spent all my time and all my money, but both time and money were well spent. I'm happy with this day.

Coming Next in Singles: "The Shack(ing Up With Someone.")

You know I am now perched on the edge of my seat.

Waiting.

(And by the way, I didn't like "The Shack" at all... even though several people in my old church raved about it. I'm sure your thread will be much better.)

The Shack? Hmm... I liked aspects of the book (very few, but there were some) but the writing quality was mostly terrible and the pansy/hippie Jesus with no 'manhood' was incredibly annoying and stupid and non-biblical and crap.

I have set a date for Monday February 9th when I will start my diet again, now that roadblocks such as the holidays are gone. This time I have put in place guard rails that will help me stay on track. With everything preplanned I only have to follow the steps. I gotta do it this time, I need my health back.

You too? I loved that show! More so the first five seasons.

That show is totally not fictional. I'm convinced that's how white collar and blue collar, garden variety, mid-range, failing paper supply company employees actually are. :p

Today has been a blessed day. I got a customer's new laptop all set up for his work, got a free java chip frappuccino from Starbucks, got a free laptop (I'll have to pay for replacement parts, but it's totally worth it), am more or less lined up for one to two other jobs, am helping my grandmother with her netbook and saving her money in the process, and then some.

Thanks Lord!

I hope everyone else is having a pleasant weekend (hopefully today is an improvement for you, zero). :)

Yeah jsr1211 knows whats up, lol.
I just generally assume that things like that don't exist because now that I know the city actually exists I might actually visit there one day!

This is why we can't have nice things. lol

I.didn't like the shack that much either. I guess because it was so horribly sad.
