I think 50 shades of grey is disgusting. I am not a lesbian, but I don't find men sexually attractive. I am repelled by sex because of traumatic past experiences. It isn't the sex in the book 50 Shades of Grey that I find offensive. It's the abuse.

The idea that women get turned on by this and find it pleasurable sickens me. These primitive types of entertainment have become popular recently. I hated the Hunger Games too. I can't believe a movie about children fighting each other to the death is now a multi million dollar media franchise.

We may be living in 2015, but the way things are going, we might as well be heading for1100 A.D.

I dunno if anyone has talked about this, but aside from the book being pornographic, it also promotes something evil, that no Christian should ever participate in. God tells us to take care of our spouses needs, but he did not say we could take part in these forms of perversion. Just looking at 1 Thessalonians 4:5, its obvious that this "passionate" way of living is sinful, and a perversion of Gods creation.

No Christian should ever perform acts of bondage. I believe it would clearly be shameful before God.

The point of my post is that getting married does not allow us to do whatever sexual act we want by God. We are told to take care of each others needs, but to also take time to pray to avoid satans temptations.

Things like bondage would be one of those temptations.

God tells us that He hates all forms of sexual immorality. Sex is meant to lead to something beautiful for God, and for us. Things like bondage are nothing more than fulfillment of personal desires and immoral.

If you are a follower of Christ, you desire nothing but to follow Gods will. No fancy words change this.

Do you define her best interests? If her momentary interest in the bedroom is pleasure at your hands, whether that be through bondage or BDSM or whatever she likes, all consensually, why not oblige her?

Biblically, sexual immorality is adultery, polygamy, homosexuality or lesbianism. Consensual kinkiness is hardly immoral, and if sex is meant to be more than ''fulfillment of desires'', then what is it mean to be? Meant to be about love, and cherishing? There's love and cherishing in fulfilling your partner's sexual needs, to be honest.

I'd say it's more emotionally unhealthy to be afraid to admit you want these things, more emotionally unhealthy to be averted to experimentation with your partner, and more unhealthy to be sexually repressed with your spouse.

Bondage in it's most basic form is not about fulfilling the others needs. It's about control and dominance.

If her need is to fulfill that desire, doing it in the righteous way is more than enough. Anything else is immoral. If her interest is to watch you kill little animals, would you do that for her? I really hope not. If the couple gets "bored" of sex, it makes more sense to go without it for a while than to just do evil things. Though they really shouldnt get "bored" of sex, the bible says to take care of each others needs, and not to live passionately. There is nothing that makes you "need" bondage, it is merely a desire.

Sounds like 60's free love. Sex isn't about one person. It is about a union into one flesh. People with kinky desires are using sex to escape from pain.

Look, if my partner says to me ''tie me up, it makes me crazy'', and comes out fulfilled, then her needs are fulfilled. That's pretty basic sexual dynamic right there.

Free love isn't the same as monogamous experimentation. And sex is about two people, and two people's wants and needs.

People with kinky desires are using sex to get heightened arousal, from whatever psychological facet makes them desire it. That's it.

Come on man. Sex is supposed to be passionate. Lust is a healthy part of a monogamous relationship. IN fact, the bible tells people who lust, to marry. That tells me that this lust is meant to be projected onto a partner.

The need for sex would clearly be the arousal of your genitals. Though it in itself isnt really even a need, as in you will not have adverse affects from ignoring it besides maybe stress, which is just a normal part of daily living anyways, God does allow us to take a spouse and fulfill that need because it leads to something beautiful, giving God children. There is no part of your physical body that tells you "I need to be tied up and hurt/ tie up someone and hurt them". It is a desire to pervert what God has created. God has strict guidelines with sex. Bondage is clearly not a part of it, merely the fulfillment of personal desire, and we are told that the source of ALL sin is desire.
