This is it! Except you forgot obedience? No talk of obedience?

His mercy an grace is meant to lead us to repentance and obedience...

Romans 2:4

New Living Translation
Don't you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can't you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

English Standard Version
Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?

New American Standard Bible
Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?

Romans 2:4-12, “Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, forbearance, and longsuffering; not realizing that Yahweh’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? But according to your stubborn and impenitent mind you are storing up wrath for yourself for the day of Yahweh’s wrath, when the righteous judgment of Yahweh will be revealed; when He will reward each one according to his works: to the ones on the one hand, who, by patient persistence in doing righteousness, seek for glory, honor and immortality, He will give eternal life. But to the ones on the other hand, who are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, He will give indignation and wrath.” Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man who does evil: to the Yahdai(Jew) first, and also to the Greek (Gentile) But glory, honor, and peace to every man who works righteousness: to the Yahdai first, and also to the Greek. For there is no respect of persons with Yahweh. For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.”

His instructions show us how He wants us to be, as our perfect example, Yahshua/Jesus was...
No offence, but to love God and the brethren is OBEDIENCE and is a GIVEN.......my turn to say ....WOW!

We are completely unworthy and deserve hell. The law cannot be kept. You are already guilty of breaking it, will break it tomorrow. I feel pretty fortunate to have favor with Jesus. Without Him I'm a goner. As an aside, those of you who think perfection is attainable in these earthly bodies isn't raising children.

read it with the Spirit and you will be guided, read it with hate scoffing at it and you will be blinded.

lol NO, and I have said this many times, yet as soon as people say, hey mercy laeds to obedience, cries of "justified by works" "boasting" and "you think you perfect" will come, never fails...

Revelation 12:17
New American Standard Bible
So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus."

I will truly try to depart from this thread now, wouldn't want to mix obedience with mercy right?

Acts 26:20 English Standard Version
"but declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout all the region of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God (YHWH), performing deeds in keeping with their repentance."

Yet as soon as...... that dreaded word "obedience" is spoken all false associations start, double standard? how can there be true love if it not according to His word? there cant be... "by this we know"...........

by what do we know we love the children of Yah? if we obey or ignore His Commands?

The point is that perfect obedience is impossible. There is so much ugly to us that we are unaware of. We're like an iceberg with the 99.9% of our depravity out of view to us....past present and future. If there was ever anything we could do there would be no need of Jesus. We are free to struggle...all that is required of us is kneel before Jesus with all of our heart.

I will be guided?

So when your neighbor comes home with that shiney new car. what about the law makes you not get that twinge of jealousy, Makes you not look at your car and desire to have a new one yourself?

Thank you, You just proved WHY you need grace and mercy,

Not because you repented, Not because you obey some law. Not because of anything else. But because you are not perfect. you have failed to live up to Gods standard, nothing else.

Yet when we claim this, you claim we want to sin want to disobey God, want to live however we please. want to dishonor God. and whatever else you say.

It has nothing to do with mixing anything, it has to do with the fact you have no idea what grace is, You preach grace is BECAUSE OF OBEDIENCE, you have it backwards, GRACE causes obedience, not the other way around.

Acts 26:20 English Standard Version
"but declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout all the region of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God (YHWH), performing deeds in keeping with their repentance."
You still do not get it.

Another thing....what does it mean that we were "bought with a price"? If we lose our life in Jesus that means jesus sells is back to death.

I will NEVER leave thee nor forsake thee

All that the Father has given me I have lost nothing

We are in the Father's hand, in the Hand of Christ and Sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise which is the pre-payment of our eternal inheritance.......!

Gracce without obedience to the spiritual understanding of law is license. There is no reference anywhere to being obliged by the law, however there is reference to understanding what Messiah teaches all.............. Again, knowing the difference is peace.
spiritual understanding. when was a gentile under the same law. acts 15. as reading in a worldly way, why would i need to go via the spiritual.

Gentiles Hear the Good News
34 So Peter opened his mouth and said: "Truly I understand that God shows no partiality,35 but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.36 As for the word that he sent to Israel, preaching good news of peace through Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all),37 you yourselves know what happened throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John proclaimed:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.39 And we are witnesses of all that he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a tree,40 but God raised him on the third day and made him to appear,41 not to all the people but to us who had been chosen by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.42 And he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead.43 To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name."
The Holy Spirit Falls on the Gentiles Acts 10
44 While Peter was still saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word.

when did peter say repent.

Grace is inseparable from obedience of our Father.

If we love God, we will obey Him, and above all, His teaching and example when He came to save us.

If you love your fellow man, you will never teach that the law, lawfully applied, is obsolete. You will teach obedience to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirt.

If you have the law written on you inward parts and on the tablet of your heart, you willobey them because you will know them.

Yes, all the law hangs on love, thus in love is the law, so do not teach against it, it is always to be obeyed.

Do not teach againt the Teacher Who obeyed all the law perfectly for us all. He teaches the laws are not abolished.

Do not say Paul has taught to the contrary, for he did not teach against the teachings of the Master. If you believe he did, then you are not understanding Paul.

Never use Paul to attempt to refute Jesus Christ for they are in agreement.

Now, so not just go around telling peopel grace, grae without understanding for grace does not trample the Blood of the Lamb.

I have come to this post because the post needs this clarification. Do not judge me for the content, for it is from Jesus Christ, look to HIm for He is Rabboni, our teacher. God bless all who go beyond loving from the lips, and keep the commandments of God, amen.
You do not fully understand what has been written for our learning. There are NT scriptures you do not fully understand through the Holy Spirit concerning what we have been given apart from the law. We will not be judged by whether we have kept the deeds of the law but we will be judged by the words of Christ revealed by the Spirit through grace and truth and not the letter of the law. You have a blind spot and until that veil is completely taken away it will remain and effect your understanding.

Grace in action;

2 Timothy 1:7 [SUP] [/SUP]For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Romans 8:27-33
[SUP]27 [/SUP]And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
[SUP]28 [/SUP]And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
[SUP]29 [/SUP]For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
[SUP]30 [/SUP]Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
[SUP]31 [/SUP]What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
[SUP]32 [/SUP]He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
[SUP]33 [/SUP]Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
