I like how some women let a man think he is the head, all the while, knowing they are the neck who actually turns the head.
I actually learned how to do this on a boss I had....two years I worked on him to let me work a 4 10 hour a day work week and at the end of that time it was almost like it was his idea for me to do that....lol I sure did love that 4 day work week for about 4 years before they laid me off.....

i like how guys like to protect.
i like it when a guy holds the door open for me lol
If he's a gentleman he ought to hold the door for you.If not he needs a spankin from his momma. My 10yr old nephew held the door open for an elderly couple at a restaurant and before they left the gave money to the waitress to give to him.Bring those boys up well mothers!

I like the simple little gestures that women do to make you feel loved:). Like sending you an early morning greeting:). Or leaving a treat on the counter for when you come in:)

I like it when they stare straight back at my eyes. It's like our eyes are connected and we are speaking to each other without actually saying anything. (I've done this a couple of times with boys I've had crushes on)...it's a very nice feeling hehe.

I also find facial hair attractive.

This thread is one in which we can let the guys (or girls :)) know what we appreciate about their traits in general, stereotypical or otherwise. This can be a touch tricky, of course, since people are still individuals and don't fit into a box. Just be nice and you can say whatever you want :).
Girls are the best :)

Mitspa, I think women's intelligence seems "better" to you because it's different from your own. I happen to find it intelligent to be able to take apart something and fix it, though it's not my thing. I'm not mechanical at all, but there are other things I'm really good at. You're probably good at a bunch of things that if I tried, I'd appear to be "stupid" at, while when there's a really young child who needs attending to, I generally inherently know what they need/how to communicate with said youngster and make it all better.

Well, with the price of rent these days, caves are looking better and better =P.

Let's see what do I appreciate about guys in general:

Many of them are thinkers first, feelers second. I rarely have to worry about them taking something the wrong way and getting their feelings hurt. And they're always up for analyzing a problem and helping me come up with a logical solution.

They make me laugh.

Men with courage, integrity, and high standards are just plain encouraging (and there are several of you on CC).

Wow, it's rather pathetic that I can't think of anything since I've been blessed to know a lot of great guys (or at least they always treat me well).

I appreciate the way that women can give life to a guy simply by speaking some words of encouragement to him, and I appreciate the way that many of the women here seem to practice that.

I appreciate the strength that women have in dealing with the poor ways they are often treated by men.

I appreciate how many women have a very calming, caring, nurturing ability about them.

I appreciate how most women really set the bar high in terms of being responsible and working hard, whether it's for their own success or for the sake of their families.

I really appreciate the inherent beauty that God instilled in women in many ways.

And most of them smell really good too haha.

I like the "fix it" attitude a lot of men have- I may not always appreciate it in the moment when I'm just venting, but when I think about it later, I find they've often given me good, practical advice and a direct way to approach a problem.

I also like when they know when to step in and help, and when not to- example, a while back when we had an early winter storm and a bunch of trees and branches fell in our yard, me and my mother-in-law were trying to cut up the bigger limbs with hand saws while my husband was at work. It was super slow, hard work. A neighbor saw us and came over with his chainsaw to help. THAT is a good time to step in. A bad time is if I'm doing fine on my own but just going about it in a different way. I like when guys can tell the difference.

Very well said.
I love the special feeling I get in my heart when I'm in love and really miss her, and we finally get to see each other.

This was my first thought.

I find traditional feminine nature/dispositions very appealing. There's an air of welcoming to them; a sense of warmth and nurturing.
