I like the "fix it" attitude a lot of men have- I may not always appreciate it in the moment when I'm just venting, but when I think about it later, I find they've often given me good, practical advice and a direct way to approach a problem.
I also like when they know when to step in and help, and when not to- example, a while back when we had an early winter storm and a bunch of trees and branches fell in our yard, me and my mother-in-law were trying to cut up the bigger limbs with hand saws while my husband was at work. It was super slow, hard work. A neighbor saw us and came over with his chainsaw to help. THAT is a good time to step in. A bad time is if I'm doing fine on my own but just going about it in a different way. I like when guys can tell the difference.
