This is your personal twist on the entire Word. All of the Book is the faith of Abraham as taught by Jesu Christ, Who is the Word, John 1. He teaches we are not to discount the law, that is obedience. We obey with understanding of the law, and just how wise and good it is. Jesus Christ completes the law for us, but this does not excuse any from obedience. Now if you think yourself, your "love" so perfect as to be always in obedience without study of the law, then you are one of a kind after our Lord, Jesus Christ. All of the first converts to Jesus Chrsit, then called Yeshua HaMashiach, learned the Holy Scriptures from the writings immediately available, that being what you call "The Old Testamen." All who know Jesus Christ see Him throughout the Old Testamen, and they learn the gospel first in it, for they do not have the veil of the law, that is the veil of Moses hiding truth from their eyes. It is apparent many who claim to walk in grace still have this veil over their eyes for they do not see God's wisdoem and goodness in the law. Again, Jesus is the Word, so the law is all from Him, though with the grace He has given us who believe Him, we are not bound by the law, we simply obey it because of the new men we are.
I realize this is not sufficient for ay who love sugar more than the Lord.
