blasphemes against the Holy Spirit

Mark 3
29But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, but is guilty of an eternal sin
30 because they said, “He has an unclean spirit”

Matthew 9
34But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.

matthew 11
18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.
19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous,
and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

matthew 12
24But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils,
but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
25Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation;
and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out?
therefore they shall be your judges.

28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods,
except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men:
but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him:
but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him,
neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt:
for the tree is known by his fruit.

34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things?
for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

mark 3
28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men,
and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness,
but is in danger of eternal damnation:

30Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

luke 11
Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation;
and a house divided against a house falleth.

18 If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand?
because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.

19 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out?
therefore shall they be your judges.

20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.

it is blaspheme associated with attributing Jesus' and, the power of God, to work to that of demons.

anti christ

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:
and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come;

and (even now already) is it in the world.

John 8
48Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
49Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
50 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.

51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.

John 10
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

19There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
20And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?

21Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil.
Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?

41And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle:
but all things that John spake of this man were true.

the spirit in a man

- this is not Gods holy spirit given to few, everyone has one of them.

1 The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens,
and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

- science calls it youre concience, they can't see, or feel, or understand it

8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

- it's what imparts thought, it seperates mans brain from animals

7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

- a recording of youre life returns to God, without youre body it knows nothing and it's not immortal
or alive by itself this spirit in man, if combined with Gods Holy spirit makes man complete like a family

mere man be mindfull

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked…” (Jer. 17:9)

“…the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walks to direct his steps”(10:23)

“There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Prov.14:12; 16:25)

“Every way of a man is right in his own eyes…”(21:2)

“For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness…”(Jer. 6:13)

Anything that one gives deference to above his Creator becomes his god (Ex. 20:3).

We must not conform to this world (Romans 12:2)

there is a process for salvation (Acts 2:38)

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word of God” (Luke 4:4).

What do you understand about the other things John tells us about Jesus in verse one?

“And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become (as one of us), to know good and evil:

The Word in John 1 is translated from the Greek word Logos and means “Spokesman.”

at that prehistoric time of the first verse of John 1, the Word was not (yet) the Son of God.
He divested himself of His glory as a spirit divinity to be begotten as a human person.
He was made God’s Son, through being begotten or sired by God and born of the virgin Mary

He says “one of us”! One of the “us” was God the Father and the other one of the “us” was the Word.

If there was just one deity, why would one deity say to Himself, “ONE of us”?

The Son of God has always been the eternal high priest with no beginning or ending. I do believe that the man Joshua worshipped may not have had the flow of both blood and water as our flow is...perhaps only white blood cells or something.

Joshua 5:13-15Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

13*And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? 14*And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? 15*And the captain of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

When Abraham met 3...he worshipped...two left to Sodom...Abraham stood yet before The Lord...then Lot worshipped one of the two as well...so...that leaves the third which may have been like...

Revelation 19:9-11Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

9*And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. 10*And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

11*And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Again, this does not mean that God is equating man with deity.

Well this is your own interpretation, i know, i respect, but i disagree. If i try to be wiser than what GOD's Word(JESUS) have said and is quoted, as it is written, than i am only being foolishly wise against HIM and misguiding others.

'Faith' is 'believing' as they are 'said' and 'written' in the HOLY BIBLE.

The same when GOD's Word told Abraham to 'sacrifice' his only given begotten, the same GOD who gave as a son, as his and for his 'inheritance'. Did Abraham 'hesitate', thinking, like a wise thinker like me, for a moment, would a Good and Loving GOD ask such a thing and may be this is the voice of the devil?

i would for a second thought!

But Abraham was innocent, he would do everything GOD tells him to do, without 'hesitation'. And that was counted to him as 'faithful' and GOD named him as HIS 'friend' and 'father of faith' to be witnessed to his 'descendent' through his 'offspring', JESUS of Nazareth.

In the beginning, man was made in the 'image' of GOD. But they as his 'offsprings' have 'fallen' short from, created and blessed GOD's Glory, in order for them to 'rule', being as in the 'physical form' of GOD, as HIS 'instrument', as 'gods in the flesh', beside HIM, to 'subdue' over all other 'physical form' creation and the earth and also 'multiply' in the same. For GOD created all of them and called them 'very good' and HE finished HIS work and let them be as HE has 'ordained' and 'left' for 'awhile'.

Only JESUS of Nazareth, the spirit-man 'accomplished' them and received 'deity' status as God and is 'seated' beside GOD the FATHER in Heaven, to 'rule' as 'LORD of lords' and 'KING of kings' over HIS, who worship HIS FATHER in 'spirit' and 'truth' lambs and sheep of GOD and together through them over Heaven and earth.

Meantime through them making peace with the world, for them to 'turn back in repentance' to GOD, by 'healing', 'forgiving', 'preaching' and 'teaching' the Gospel to all nation and 'baptizing' in the name of the FATHER and of the SON and of the HOLY SPIRIT.

If GOD the FATHER HIMSELF calls JESUS as God, 'as it is written', in the Hebrew epistle, then HIS true worshipers who worship the FATHER in 'spirit' and 'truth' lambs and sheep, are the spirit-men, as HIS 'instruments' for HIS Kingdom, in 'shadow' operating here on earth, made 'by' and 'for' CHRIST according to the New Covenant, who too faithfully in 'spirit' and 'truth' as human beings, 'adopted and called heirs' to as 'members/body parts' of the BODY of CHRIST/Church HIS SON, are actually 'living gods' ministering to this world for 'Salvation'.

This is the true BIBLICAL 'founded' Body of CHRIST/Church. Apart from this are 'counterfeit' churches, consist of 'imposter's and hypocrisy' compromises of GOD's sound Word written in the HOLY BIBLE, who have 'climbed in over the fence' and 'rather did not 'abide' and 'faithfully' come through the 'Door'(CHRIST's words/teachings and abiding).

GOD the FATHER, 'who art in Heaven' and JESUS HIS SON the 'Head of HIS Church' and 'as their Mediator' and with the 'saints' and the 'Holy angels' are together in Heaven.

And the HOLY SPIRIT representing 'both' in Heaven and in the spirit-man, they as 'HIS Body Parts/Church' and together with the Holy angels are here on earth, they who obey GOD's Word(CHRIST) of the New Covenant and 'do' them, in order to complete HIS Will for all nation to be 'saved'.

JESUS said about them and is written in the Gospel that;

"They will be 'like' angels, worshiping GOD day and night."

Do you believe man were made higher than angels?

Hi Laura

An excellent question. The best way to explain is the use of the bible. John 17:3 " this means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ" So this scripture already shows a clear distinction. God sent Jesus Christ to die for our sins. If it was worded and you sent yourself, Jesus Christ it would show that they are one in the same but this shows they are different. Just like God refers to all of us as his sons, he calls Jesus his son because he was his first creation. In John 1:49 it says "Na·than′a·el responded: “Rabbi, you are the Son of God, you are King of Israel". Again we see a clear distinction, Jesus is the son of God. Many people believe that God and Jesus are one in the same along with the Holy Spirit, but they are one in a sense that they are harmony together not that they are literally one. It makes logical sense as if you think of Jesus time on Earth, why would he pray to God if he was God? I hope this helped =)

Do you believe man were made higher than angels?

Think about this. If Ps. 82 means that man is equal to deity, does Ezekiel 28:2 and 9 mean that man is not God? How do you reconcile these two texts? I will comment on the function of the Holy Spirit later.

you are welcome.

How does the Bible reference the Holy Spirit? John 1:32; Romans 8:16, 26; 1 Peter 1:11;
John 14:16-17, 26; 16:7-8, 13.

Normally, the Holy Spirit is referred to as “it” in the King James. In the 14th, 15th and 16th chapters of John,
it is personified as one who brings help; therefore, the word comforter is used, along with the English pronouns he and him.

Grammatically, all Greek pronouns must agree in gender with the nouns to which they refer.

The Greek parakletos (comforter) is masculine in gender, so translators used the personal pronouns he and him for the Greek masculine pronouns. In many languages, a word’s gender has nothing to do with whether the thing itself is literally male or female. For example, the Spanish word mesa (table) is feminine. Gender in language is a mere grammatical tool.
In Greek, as in English, the word spirit is neuter—neither masculine nor feminine in gender. Pneuma is the Greek word meaning “spirit.” It is always grammatically neuter, properly represented by the English pronoun “it” (John 1:32; Romans 8:16).

The Family of God

realize why the truth about the trinity doctrine is so important.

By making the Holy Spirit into a person, it implies that God is forever limited to three individuals.
It denies the very purpose for which God created mankind!

What if the HS is simply the soul of God? His real Him and not another person?

Jesus said that any blapheme against the Holy Spirit has not a forgiveness... God is that big that only His son knows who He is.

What if the HS is simply the soul of God? His real Him and not another person?

Jesus said that any blapheme against the Holy Spirit has not a forgiveness... God is that big that only His son knows who He is.

Why can anyone who speaks a word against Jesus be forgiven, but if they speak against the Holy Spirit they will not be forgiven?

Psalms 82;6,7:
I said, "You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you, nevertheless, like men you shall die, and fall like any prince."

This is the Psalm you go to? The one that says the gods will die like mortals, that they ignore the poor and orphan, that they oppress the suffering, favor the wicked, and know nothing?

I mean, if this is what man's deity is like, then we aren't really deities. This is the actual point of the Psalm anyway - only the God of Israel is really God. It's he who owns the nations and will execute judgment on the unrighteous - not the other supposed gods of the nations.

too true. too astute (for this internet).

remember, not only is yahweh that big-

also the son said plainly that no one knows the father except the son, ... "no one" except the son. "no one"....

and the son, the savior, the messiah, the king of kings, does not deceive his children....

no one will understand.... they cannot...

remembering that the son said "NO ONE" knows the father except the son.... "no one" includes all the people alive on earth and all religious people and all religions......

and, of course, more of importance, that "no one" here or anywhere on the internet understands or knows...

plainly.

p.s. .... no one knows the father except the son, unless the son reveals.... that's the only way to know.
in his word, either the father or the son reveals anything any man is able to know.

no hierarchy. no mankind wisdom or man's knowledge. no doctrines of man or of demons. nothing worldly is able. nothing historical is able. nothing scientific is able. ..... simply nothing is able ...

unless the father or the son reveals.....

1Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour,
and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;
2Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace,
all the letters greet about the same
from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
they never greets the Holy spirit though for some reason,.....

Humans, look at whom the Psalmist says God is addressing. Again, this does not mean that God is equating man with deity.

Who are these 'humans' JESUS was referring to in the Gospel of John, Jews of GOD's Covenant and as appointed religious officials for HIM, as HIS official 'instruments' in 'duty', to serve HIS nation Israel in HIS 'precepts' or where they are also sent to other nation to warn, even in 'exile' to serve other kings. witnessing their GOD, still in Power and Action?

Or the Prince of Tyre according to the world's standards as god, as even today the Communist nation or regime, leaders are considered as gods?

Between these two people, there are the 'practicing' Jews of GOD's Covenant and the 'non-practicing' Jews of GOD's Covenant (because there are non-Jew 'proselytes' who 'practices' GOD's Covenant with the Jews).

The 'practicing' Jews according to GOD's Covenant have the Living GOD beside them and on their side always, who was worshiped by their ancestors and have been passed on according to HIS will and Word.

And the 'non-practicing Jews' according to GOD's Covenant, the 'uncircumcised' and 'without the Living GOD', 'did what was pleasing in their sight' and are slaves to false 'elemental spirits', even in men for 'interpretation' about life and circumstances and etc.

GOD bless you in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Psalms 82:6.
“God takes His stand in His own congregation; He judges in the midst of the rulers. How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Vindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute. Rescue the weak and needy; Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked. They do not know nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are shaken. I said, “You are gods, and all of you are sons of the Most High. “Nevertheless you will die like men and fall like any one of the princes.” Arise, O God, judge the earth! For it is You who possesses all the nations.”

The first thing that needs to be understood is who God was speaking to in Psalms 82. He was not speaking to all men. In fact, he was not even speaking to all of those of Israel. He was speaking to those who were appointed as judges over the people "YOU are gods." So, this declaration is very limited in its scope. Calling them gods is
not related to their intrinsic nature but to their appointed function as those who were responsible for giving the Law of God to the people. In the very next verse God reminds them of their intrinsic nature, “you will die like mere mortals.” These 'gods' were those who sat in the seat of Moses to whom God said, “See, I make you as God to Pharaoh.” Like Moses before Pharaoh, these judges stood before the people as gods to the people. As such, their function was to “defend the weak and the fatherless, uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed,” to “rescue the weak and the needy,” and “deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” They had abandoned this appointed function and had defended the unjust and shown partiality to the wicked.Of them God says, “The ‘gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing. They walk about in darkness.” All of these charges are contrary to the intrinsic nature of God. Since God cannot defy his own nature we know that the term gods then defines not their nature but their function. For this reason, God says he will render judgment among these gods, verse one.

In John 10 we find Jesus being accused of blasphemy “because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God.” The Jews understood the implication of Jesus statement. When they threatened Jesus with stoning, Jesus reminded them of the 82 Psalm. Apparently they had properly understood the Psalm and did not equate being called gods as a declaration of man's equality with God. They knew to whom this Psalm was directed. “He called them gods, to whom the word of God came.” They knew this was talking about those who were charged with giving the Law of God to the people. Yet, now, Jesus is himself “sanctified and sent into the world” by the Father to impart the word of God again to the people. This is the exact same function that was given to the judges yet, when Jesus calls himself the Son of God they want to stone him for it. Jesus is simply pointing out the lunacy of their reasoning.

And yet, JESUS of Nazareth according to the Gospel of John, said to them?

And that is the 'justification' of the HOLY SPIRIT, who 'inspired' the HOLY SCRIPTURE in the HOLY BIBLE and of CHRIST and 'as it is written' and has been 'taught' for 'witnessing', and said 'HE' to them in reference to the Old, as they are 'such ordained', but in 'ignorance' fail to the 'requirement' of GOD according to HIS Covenant.

And so are we in common faith in knowledge of the Kingdom of GOD written in the HOLY BIBLE, for the sake of the 'lambs' and 'sheep' of CHRIST of the New Covenant?

There is no need of 'debate' to 'mislead' them but rather 'justify', 'as it is written' and leave them as they are, further in 'faith knowledge action' to the 'lost world'.

Thank you and be blessed in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Why can anyone who speaks a word against Jesus be forgiven, but if they speak against the Holy Spirit they will not be forgiven?
If you reject the work of the Holy Spirit as from Satan,
then you reject the only convincing power and evidence of the gospel.

I am not sure I understand what point you are making here. When Jesus quoted Ps 82 he was suggesting that man is in any way equal to God. As God declares in Ezek. 28, Man is NOT God. I suppose the question this poses in the mind of many is how can Jesus be equally man and God?

1Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour,
and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;

2Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace,

all the letters seem to send greetting about the same
from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

they never greet the Holy spirit though for some reason,
would that be not rude if it was a he, and where is his throne?

now or in the milliliam or world to come,

no one seems here to have even tried to give answer to this question.

If he was a 3rd person, the Holy Spirit, where is his throne in the world to come ?

If I answered it you would never understand it because your question reveals a number of misconceptions about some fundamental biblical concepts.
