again a sign of salvation, not a prerequisite for salvation. Who would recieve the forgiveness of God and indwelling HS and not confess jesus? It is not to be saved, it is because you are saved (lest anyone should boast)

Again just as above, Not to get saved, the people who are saved WILL DO THIS because they are saved, not to get saved (lest anyone should boast)

If you claim these things are in order to gain salvation, You teach a salvation of works. which is not from God.

Your earning your eternity (or trying) not looking to God to save you.

There is a phrase called putting the cart before the horse.
Jesus is talking to the Apostles and telling them how they/we are to walk in the faith.
You keep saying it is a result of salvation, but how can it be a result of something you have not physically received yet?
Apostle Paul says we have assurance of receiving salvation by keeping our faith in the Lord, not that we have it then the following happens. The Holy Spirit does the work through us, but some do not understand is our freewill is never taken away. Those who teach there is no freewill in a believer is teaching falsely, because if there was no freewill then a born again believer could never ever sin again because the Lord does not sin.
If the Lord is doing all the working and we can not do of our own accord (freewill) then sin would be completely impossible. Yet the bible does says and show we will sin again if we get drawn away by our own lusts.

I am not earning nothing as I have assurance that I will receive eternal life through Christ because He is my Lord and Savior and I defend His teachings out of that love for Him. You can say what you want about me, but I know my faith is secure in the Lord for He has brought me through some major rough times in my life. Including some medical problems and a close call when I almost died do to Tylenol.

romans 7 is not before conversion. Paul spoke in present tense terms. Don't buy into this deceiving lie.

No the lies is saying Romans 7 is present tense.
Apostle Paul clearly says in Romans 7 he is carnally minded sold under sin, and who can save him from this way.
Then in Romans 8 he says there is now no condemnation for those in Christ who do not walk after the flesh (carnally minded) but walk in the Spirit. Romans 8 is his transfer to a mature Christian in the faith, and no longer walks carnally minded as he did in chapter 7.

It can't be, thats why the things of god are foolisness to those who are not his. That why in the world of the unbeliever, there are non righteous, no not one.

A person who is not born again of the spirit can not do any good deed. all they can do is act like they are doing good. But in reality, it is a carnal work. not a work of God.

Again, Paul said we have an inheritance in hand, We have eternal life in hand, We have the seal of the spirit in hand.

God needs to grow us, he does not expect us to be perfect. That is impossible. why would god demand what is impossible?

Thats what makes Gods love so special, it is unconditional. and that is the type of love God calls us to show. How can God demand we show that love, if he is not willing to show it?

If the Lord is doing all the working and we can not do of our own accord (freewill) then sin would be completely impossible. Yet the bible does says and show we will sin again if we get drawn away by our own lusts.
Yep. Because God did not make us robots, He gave us eternal life. and the seal of the spirit. But he did not take away the flesh. if he did, he would be like calvanists say, and we would all be robots. God does not want robots as children, he wants children who need to chose between trusting him and self every day, and learning that he is faithful, and trusting ourselves is futile. this makes us love him more.

I am not earning nothing as I have assurance that I will receive eternal life through Christ because He is my Lord and Savior and I defend His teachings out of that love for Him. Yes you are, You just gave a LONG list of requirments YOU MUST DO to be saved.

and you even left some out. which you preach alot.

Thats called earning salvation.

No. Paul says in present tense.

"that I want to do (present tense) I do not do. That I do not want to do, (present tense), that I do

He said I am currently a wretched man. Not that he was a wretched man.

I pray God removes this body of sin every day. But I am not foolish to think it will happen today. If I did, I would be in trouble because I no longer need God.

Romans 8 is hope for those of us who realise, according to the law. we are rightly condemned.

I know it is hard for you to understand, because you think you fulfill the law. Thats why you can not comprehend what paul meant

Romans 7 is true of every child of God. As they grow in christ, it is less true, but still true. if not for romans 8, we would have no hope.

Your hope is in your good deeds, and maintaining those works, and not falling away (self) My hope is in God

Those who trust in their own works to save them instead of Christ's blood probably won't fair as well as that guy.

Romans 7:14
For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

Romans 7:5
For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

Romans 7:23
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

Romans 7:24
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:4
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Apostle Paul from Romans 7 to Romans 8 is clearly showing his change from walking in the flesh (carnally minded) to walking in the Spirit, and by walking in the Spirit there is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ that walk obediently by His guidance.

Did you keep reading though where he then said in Romans 8 he could not continue to be carnally mined, or did you miss that part. Romans 7 says he is walking carnally minded (flesh), and Romans 8 he says he is not carnally minded because he walks in the Spirit. He is showing we can not continue to walk carnally minded in the two chapters as that leads to death and not eternal life.
Keep trying to make it not say that when it does;

Verse 7:14 Paul is carnally minded..................................

Verse 8:6 Paul is not carnally minded..............................

Sorry but all I did was post scriptures that you gave this reply to, so if you don't like what they say that is on you and go ahead and keep throwing out what scriptures you don't like and then persecuting others in your replies when they use them.

Salvation is not earned it is given by the cross. Sanctification is not earned it is given by the cross.

What was done on the cross was the one time perfect sacrifice for all sins by our Lord Jesus Christ.
To receive that remission the bible clearly says one has to repent, get baptized/born again, and then confess future sins to receive remission by the Lord's blood to be cleansed of all unrighteousness. No repentance=no salvation, not baptized/born again=no salvation, no confession=no salvation, No love for others=no salvation, and the other thing the Lord said; No forgiving of others=no salvation......

Read post #831 as that is just a handful of scriptures from Paul, Peter, and Jude that show salvation is the ending result of our faith in Christ after we have overcome the world by walking in the Spirit...........
