(and I bet they still can't figure out WHY they are single.............)
There was a bunch from my prom that went home to play video games. I don't get the whole video game thing. I have a Nintendo DS and honestly I can go months without playing it.

I was about 12 or 13 and my dad told me to roll up the windows in our Honda and it was a stick shift so he told me to turn the key just until the dash lights come on and make sure I put my foot on the clutch, well lets just say I didn't. I started the car and all of a sudden the car smashed into my dad's cherished pickup. I felt so bad I knew I was in so much trouble my dad ran outside to find out what happened and I ran right passed him and into my bedroom closet where I cried and cried. The next day my grandpa came over and helped my dad fix the damage, luckily it didn't do anything to his pickup just smashed the hood and bumper of the car.
I bet he felt awful that you were so upset. I don't remember what happened, but we had a neighbor who had a little kid who went to get his sunglasses from their car...apparently he bumped something and the car rolled into our yard and hit something.

Please everyone, please pray that the weather stay's nice here! Tonight is that maple syrup pancake supper and remember I said my BFF and I are heading to the countryside and later we were gonna meet the church folk for pancakes? I live in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and we were gonna head on down to St. Josephs Island! :( Well it kind of sucks because here is our news report:

SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT ENVIRONMENT CANADA
*************************
Wind warning in effect for:
Sault Ste. Marie - St. Joseph Island
Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.

Northwesterly winds of 60 km/h with gusts to 90 km/h are expected to develop this afternoon.
Winds will diminish this evening.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur.
Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.

Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required, so stay tuned to your local media or Weatheradio.
Hopefully the winds will diminish in time for the pancake social. I make French toast at least once a week, usually with sliced strawberries. Maple sappy is good too.

So I'm reading the whole thread about the guy trying to start his own micro-nation and while I wish him the best, I can't help but wonder...

Am I the only one wanting to ask, "So... does your name happen to be Jim Jones?!!"

Because we all know what an absolute utopia Jonestown turned out to be!!

He was upset with me for sure, but his main concern was whether I was okay or not. I never got grounded or anything, but he just told me next time to follow his instructions to the detail. It took me a while to get out of my room though even after he talked to me. Weird accidents like that happen more often than we think they do.
