I would never, ever date someone online. You don't know who they are, or pretend to be, you don't know what they look like. For all you know, they could be a serial killer. Many online relationships don't work out in the long run anyway.

Yeah. Not everyone can, and should try online dating. You could say I was very fortunate to find someone online, and even that's not guaranteed. It's all up to God. This is why I said in so many words to take my advice with a grain of salt.

Many years ago I thought that I would join up a writing pen pal sort of over 40 singles option and also sign up for a Christian dating site. I got the applications and started filling them out and was just about finished when I decided that I wouldn't want to date myself and I didn't feel I was a strong enough Christian so I set both applications aside and did not mail them. Never did online dating....well almost never did.

Then after I got laid off my job of 25 years a couple of years ago I joined CC and thought this will be great..... online fellowship and we can all hold hands and sing Kumbaya together.......... Well we don't always get along on here and apparently according so some I may end up in hell as a legalist, and dually noted that this is not a dating site.

However against all odds somehow I ended up married to another person looking for fellowship with an opposite denomination from my own......but because we have the same belief that Jesus Saves.....somehow it all worked. Did I put a profile out to catch a man.....absolutely not....Was I looking to get a man or remarried another Big No....How did it happen? God has the answer to that one....

I don't even like the idea of online dating sites as to me Christian or not they seem like Meat Markets to this Blond. On CC I was just myself and someone saw something they liked in me being myself. He was who he claimed to be and we liked each other. God prompted me to send tourist a Bible as he had left his up in Maine.... I obeyed and sent the Bible little did I realize I would get the Bible back with a man attached....God knew I would....

Be honest and be yourself....praying doesn't hurt....I didn't know what to pray for and had given up even thinking about remarriage, but tourist prayed for happiness. We are both very happy.

Cookie anyone?

You really know the way to to woo 'em (and to the top of the FBI's most wanted list).
I could put that in my online dating profile!!!

It depends, I know 2 couples that meet online eharmony and it works out but for some maybe God has other ways to find someone or God has other plans for you, so yeah if it's Gods will to find someone on eharmony or Christian mingle then great if it's not what you're expecting then maybe God has other plans.

i've never tried online dating. the only guy i dated, i met him on a blogging site. it was back in my college days, and he was interested in my school, so he sent me a message. we met in person when he visited the campus, and the following semester, he transferred. so really, it wasn't online dating lol.

i've had people tell me to try a dating website, but i've always been iffy about it.

O.k. cat.....I admit I don't know how to spell...that's why I speak or spell Blondese.....thanks for making fun of an old Blond that doesn't know how to spell....But you know what? You knew what I meant and that's all that counts......except the grammar police/ spelling police probably just did a face palm.......lol

Should we really be singling this person out? I feel it's wrong. :(
