I'm not sure that I understand the correlation between the two. A Christian is a follower of Christ, not someone who doesn't regularly use Facebook. ;)
I meant it more of being around constant gossip and drama. I apologize if I didn't clarify clearly. I have family members that do that constantly and that is one of the reasons why I cancelled mine. People just share too much information on Facebook. For example I have an aunt who gave birth to her kids at home and put the entire birth on Facebook. I think I have just had negative experiences with the site I suppose. Just like MPW said that is how she got saved which is amazing. I can see how it can be both a positive and negative experience.

Thanks for clarifying, dear sister. There's no need to apologise though. I think I understand what you're saying. I haven't seen much gossip on Facebook, but I know what you mean about some people sharing too much information. There's a fine line between sharing of yourself and sharing yourself.

Our family used to have a family site and I loved that we could chat and things were personal without the whole world knowing about it.... But they decided to move to Facebook and I am not crazy about it because more people know our business.

But when I got married and when we had the electrical fire it sure saved a lot of phone calls as I could post the information and it gets where it needs to go in a hurry without repeating the same thing over and over again.

I had a family member say to me I knew something was up when you went silent on Facebook back when I was getting to know tourist on CC as I went silent on Facebook and then announced I was getting married....lol So maybe the Blond bores CC people more than the facebook people.....lol

To be fair, everyone likes pizza. Maybe they need help trying to find the best pizzas in town. :p
They have their own restaurant chain, so why would they want to do that?

I don't have Facebook, I don't really have a need for it.

I made one about three years ago, but I'm a private person and don't have much information on it and no pictures. But I used to get on a couple times a week and it was just depressing to me because everybody who has money to buy something or go on a vacation, or has some wonderful news to share, posts it on FB. I do not live a wonderful, happy life and am the definition of living paycheck to paycheck. There were times I could not stand to see everybody's happy-happy stuff, so just better for me to stay off FB.

I used to be completely against Facebook, with the motto that if anyone wants to know about me they should just ask. Now I have developed quite a bit of international friendships through work and missions so Facebook is the best way to stay in touch. I don't really experience the drama from them so that's not an issue. I am friends with people from my highschool and college, but if I feel that they have to much drama I just hide their feed so I don't have to see it.

You have to be discerning with facebook and I can be quite ruthless with the delete button. I see it as my private, personal space and I get to choose who I want and don't want to converse with/see my stuff. I think if you see it that way it doesn't need to be full of drama - I have no drama on facebook.
