Huh? I'd like to possess that gift, too. I try not to type the "Dumb Jackass!" ranting that sometimes goes around and around in my head when I read some posts.

I remind people, and myself, that Jesus said to love, but..................... Well, let's just say, I don't always manage to hold that thought in my own life.
Whoa! Cool! So my internal dialog softens when I get older? Cool! Good to know! (Seriously? One day I'll think about stupid donkeys? A great improvement from what I think now. lol)

Funny. You should ask that?
When there were threads about humor and if Jesus used it, the forum is divided.... once again.

He was here for quite some time, it'd be silly to think He only spoke in parables when asking someone to pass the ketchup.
At least no one offered bacon

The only thing I got is that God created man and it was very good.....implied in that is a sense of humor.....or is humor just a sin brought on cuz of the fall?....lol
Good question. Eve could have been a blond.

You know...those people who isolate themselves from the body of Christ and claim some spiritual superiority over everyone else. How do we lead them back to the body of Christ?
Homo-spirituals? My eyes saw it shocking at 1st... (No wonder! That´s not a word I knew or used)

Isolated ones?

They surely should know what´s Jesus´ body, particularly when dozens have claimed they´re his body (and His chosen).

Secondly, if they could develope a sort of relationship with a committed believer, at 1st. If a social-friendly bond lacks, the world would keep them socking their lives away but, as I know how God has used his power, I´m sure they´re not totally isolated, but hidden from those they do not like.

;)

The sad thing about this thread, is that the people who need to read it and hear the message are not engaging.

I guess we will just have to keep at it in their favourite threads. You know, the ones where they endlessly post the same cut and paste verses with their opinions of the out of context verses.
I would copy and paste this below, and post it over and over in their threads.
Well said, once again, JIA.

"Judge not" is an old Satanic straw man they try to morph into some notion the believer is to have no judgement, one would suppose must check their morals, their brains and their spirits at the door, when the admonition in scripture involves unrighteous judgement. "Don't shine a light on my lies. That's not Christ-like!" Well, duh, Matthew 23.

There's an old saying that you cannot teach anyone, anything. All you can do is lead them to the threshold of their own understanding.
If that were true, I'd still be back in the days when I only knew there was one C in my name. (Surprised me, when I found out there were two also. lol) That makes for a very short alphabet.

Thank you, Reborn. I admire your "glass half full" ethic often, but posting that would probably do what my glass does, in the drying rack. (Hope springs eternal, until it gets sprung...)

For the fifty thousand and oneth time, only God is good, only God is perfect. "Say whut?!"

Of course, l'd tweak it a bit.
Add a different punchline, you know, give it a typical Reborn post type look. Lol.

Still surprised not one has chimed in here. I wish they would. Aren't "real" christians supposed to be brave enough to go into "enemy" territory?

What's so cryptic about what JesusIs All said? I guess for you it is since JIA is talking about the Bible.[/COLOR]
Hey, at least Willie understood it enough to think he misunderstood. I simply didn't get it at all. How about not judging so quickly. I'm not against judging, just against judging too quickly.

See? Proof positive that it is true. You were probably told (taught) hundreds of times how to spell your name, but until your own mind reached out and grabbed the notion, you didn't "learn" it.

More power to you with that and God speed, then, as I've not found anything that works!
