Wolfgaming, I challenge you to do a word search of the whole Bible, and see if you can find the word "role" with regards to marriage relationships. It doesn't exist.

As for Gen. 3, that was AFTER the Fall. That was the consequence of sin - including death. Christ has come to set us free from the curse of the law, and that includes the curses of the Fall and the twisted relationships that men and women had to live with until Christ came to redeem us.

Angela I'm surprised that you would post this! The word trinity is not found in Scripture either; but you certainly agree that it exists.

When wives are told what is expected of them as a group; doesn't that define a role?

I am not suggesting that all women should respond to their husbands as does the OP. I am saying that WG's perception of a Biblically defined role is not unfounded.

It's not just about that and i hope this OP young lady explains her thoughts more, but it's about power, control, and false love. The dominate is given ultimate control to her master by allowing him to provide whatever possible to make her feel pain, which is translated to love for the girl. The girl feels loved and protected, taken care of, adored. Called babygirl snd the ultimate "mine". It's also show, if they go public...meetings, stories and other unGodly practices. How do I know? Guess.

This child needs prayer. Lots of it. The entire lifestyle does.
False love? Pain? The only pain He ever gives me is if I ASK for it! Lets not get into the sexual aspects. You clearly do not know. There will be no more assumptions about our relationship. This thread is done and I am leaving. I don't know how to delete my account but good night and good bye. The only one who needs prayer is you. Do you know what assuming means? Might want to look it up. Done

I wanted to share something for you all to think about. Think about villains in popular movies like Cruella de Ville a good percentage of them are women as well as the wicked witches. Another thing I found to be ironic most of the hurricanes were named after women. Yes, a man can and do make frightening villains, but it is worse if they are women because they have an ability to befriend someone and then hurt them where it will hurt the most.

When Eve partook of the forbidden fruit and fell the women sought to control her relationship and refuses to show vulnerability. And when she cannot secure a relationship it kills the intimacy so she is safe and in control. So basically women dominate and control because they fear vulnerability. I have seen that far too many women forfeit their femininity in order to feel safe and in control. Because of this the women are not alluring, nothing tender or merciful about them.

Some examples of controlling women are people that don't trust anyone to drive their car, help in their kitchen, and even allow someone to help us carry something. Yes, controlling women are rewarding in this world, but in reality we are not giving our full trust to our heavenly Father to have control over our lives and he knows exactly what we need.

Then on the other side of the dime there are women who are desolate and needy and there are many women who do stumble upon abusive relationships and they don't have the will to get themselves out. Desolate women tend to hide their true feelings for fear of rejection, we may hide under our makeup, or even humor. We may have tried to stand up for something and people may have responded with blank stares or even was mocked and ridiculed.

Now I believe there needs to be a healthy balance between the two. You cannot be too controlling and not allow someone into your life, but we can't be desolate either.

You know what you have in your relationship and that is what matters. As God's word says, the marriage bed is undefiled. That means as husband and wife, and as long as both of you are OK with what transpires, you can do whatever you want and it is pleasing unto God.

Some of us get irritated and poke at each other a little bit, but try not to be put-off by other Christians comments. Even believers have sore spots that may take a lifetime, with the Lords help, to get past.

God bless you.

Now we can talk. And no it really doesn't. It's a lie straight from the pit of hell, which is probably harsh and again, im speaking in my sweet southern voice right now, but please research, read, pray and hard about what you're doing. It's used to drive from the flesh, not the heart.
please show me the commandments being broken by this woman.

I like how christians here are adding in things they don't like on a personal level as somehow from the devil,

so? That is a very broad subject

if that is only between her and her husband without any third party being involved and both parties are agreed to it, then there is no law of God being broken. There is no adultery or cheating

Again, the relationship between a man and his wife is likened to Christ's relationship with His church. Does Christ want to dominate His church? A wrong relationship between a man and his wife is often indicative if not always indicative of a wrong relationship between a man or woman or both and Christ.
