Are you aware that "loving others" is the one thing Jesus told us to do? You will come up embarrassingly short if you try to find where Jesus told us to get a good, solid, sound doctrine under our belt and well rehearsed before we told other people about Him.

You just made a complete awkward false accusation by your own choice of words! Joyce said "Mercy you give OTHER PEOPLE"..She did NOT say "mercy you give GOD..... Joyce said "AMOUNT OF MERCY." and never mentioned the word "FAITH"...YOU said "Mercy is NOT Karma. OUR FAITH is not a works based tit for tat". You said "I've NOT read much about Joyce Meyer". You used the word "UNBIBLICAL". You said "Why would we need to show GOD mercy as HE is perfect?" and Joyce was telling us that we need to show mercy in the idea that "They need prayer a lot more than they need criticism and judgment". The only "JUDGEMENT" we see here is coming from YOUR direction. Do you feel fantastic after posting a smear campaign against someone who is obviously doing so much more than YOU in this world for JESUS CHRIST? Let's see just how much mercy you show to others first before criticizing someone else, shall we?
You want us to go through YOUR past posts, and thereby "prove" you are a false teacher? We can, you know.... just as anyone can take the posts of anyone else, and claim anything they want.
Where were you when she had no money, years ago, yet was teaching just about the same thing she is today? It's interesting that all the years someone is teaching that God will honor their faithfulness, no one cares. But when He DOES begin honoring what they have been doing for decades as a small potato....... THEN all of the vultures collect, trying to now pick them apart.

oh get off it! Ya'll pick me apart everyday without going through my posts! What does that prove? Maybe you can't take the heat? What does me being there in the beginning have anything to do with this? Was she there when I began learning guitar? Were you? Were you there the frustrated weeks I couldn't make a C chord? Was she?

She doesn't teach that. The video was ancient. Joyce has grown in Christ since then, unless you think that all people God chooses to use for His purposes must be absolutely perfect first.
Joyce says many things that God has given her to say---amazingly anointed things that God uses to change lives. All glory goes to God for it.
Wisdom teaches us that when we hear people of God speak we a re to be like Bereans, and also, take in the good but you should possess the discernment to be able to spit out the bones, rather than denigrate and gossip, demoralize and basically, as in this thread, lay siege to true servants of God...pretty ugly and ungodly stuff.
