I've listened to Joyce M. for years, more years than I have been on CC. Poor Joyce!
she has been accused with so many false accusations and basically from the very same group of people on these forums. Whenever her name comes up here., the same people are in the wings waiting to make sure they fry her.But she is "out there" and CC is not the only place where she has critics. It's just a shame so many people who condemn her know nothing about her except what small blurbs from youtube they can post. And those who claim to be highly educated and wisest among us are the worst of her critics while they post outdated mis information from youtube or quote her out of context. I've seen it done a million times and am always surprised.
God has blessed her and continues to bless her and uses her to bless others. Wow., what a legacy for a woman of God to leave.

The problem is simple. You can have good advice, help people, get lots of wealth and success but still preach and believe heresy. What fact tells you someone has got it wrong? They believe something that is wrong.
Do you agree with the little gods theology?
If you do, then if Joyce believes that too, you have no problems.
If you think little gods theology is actually a different faith, then if Joyce Meyer teaches this she is not a christian.
I find it interesting people easily saying another christian is lying when lying is a sin. As far as I can read and research, Joyce teaches the whole Latter Rain theology, so for me she is wrong. I can appreciate positive and good outlooks on life and how to deal with stress etc. but that does not make them a teacher of God.
What is also interesting, is people find it hard to accept anyone can bless someone else, they do not have to be christian or non-christian, and it does not make everything they say or do ok. The problem here is the Holy Spirit.
Once you say this person is solely lead by the Holy Spirit, then it is blasphemy to suggest they are wrong.
Now this is just insane, because history is full of well meaning people getting it wrong, and only the insane would find it hard to point out. The Lord is not going to take me to task saying little gods is heresy, it is that simple.

The most absurd thing about these attacks is the insistence that Dave and Joyce are WOF teachers.
They started that way, but then left that behind. Even the WOF movement shuns her, because she teaches about suffering for the Lord through persecutions, and that God can and will use illness, sickness, hurt, pain and offense in your life to refine you.
This is not at all what WOF teaches and the "experts" that think they know about her or the WOF movement continue drum beating something they cannot even understand. If you look at most of the dissenters, all they have our you tube videos and copy and pasted excerpts from CARM and other agencies, that will give account one day, just as Dave and Joyce Meyer will.
During our intentional forary into the WOF movement several years ago, my wife came home from a WOF womens Bible study at the WOF church we had started going to. My wifes life was completely turned around because of Joyce Meyer's ministries. She came home and said the whole 2 hours was nothing but a gossip session for Joyce Meyer that she would step out of the false doctrine she was teaching that God's will allows his people to suffer misfortune and pain and suffering.
I helped a WOF church and the pastor and his wife were former missionaries and his wife hated, I mean hated Joyce Meyer for teaching that we suffer for the Lord.
The attackers are amusing, because not one of them understand even the WOF movement and where they are now. Yes WOF taught little gods and emphasis for personal gain confession, but have graduated to even more false teaching that is even worse than those 2 things.
Namely it is never God will for you to be sick and if you are suffering persecution, have constant attacks or you are living in lack in your walk, examine yourself because you are out of the will of God, your faith is not growing, or your are no longer under the blood some where. In addition now to naming and claiming personal wealth and manufacturing results to match the message.
